Though the wardens and Megalopolans in each ward do not communicate with each other directly, the results are somehow conveyed. [break][break]
Some in the DUMMY WARD may gather that information is being parsed and relayed by the MUNKIDORI. The monkey frantically strains itself purple. Above its furrowed face, the TOXIC CHAIN rises like a cellphone being stretched to the sun for better service.[break][break]
Yet in this dingy, isolated prison, there is no sunlight. No indication of day or night. Just presumed and expected passage of time, over and over and over again.[break][break]
PENELOPE LIVY, THE COVETED, struggles against her chain. Every exertion of her beckoned bond tightens the fuschia fetters around her mask and neck, wringing out the air in her lungs. Only when she passes out is she able to breathe again. The MUNKIDORI shrieks. Strikes the floor with its palms, demanding someone get her back on her feet.[break][break]
Repulsed by the fates of those in the other wards, Navy pleas for the punishment to be laid unto him and the rest of the UGLIES. If punishment is what he desires, punishment is what he will get.[break][break]
The FEZANDIPITI raises his beautiful wing, feathers splayed out like the finest fabrics in an amethyst bazaar: a beautiful sight for the eyes should Alexei Ivanov or lam logan have been able to see them.[break][break]
Navy may attempt to move out of the way to spare his defender, oscar clayton; however, the top of the pecking order does not commit the deed. Rather, his underlings execute the consequence instead. Two Megalopolan guards deliver harsh blows to their mochi-filled guts.[break][break]
IN THE UGLY WARD, THE TRANSMISSION PLAYED ON THE TERA CRYSTALS ABOVE IS CUT. The result of the voting is not shown to those gathering in a chained line for the Chamber of Desires.[break][break]
HOWEVER, BOTH THE WEAKLING & DUMMY WARDS have voted to TRUST each other—and the result is communicated to those within them.[break][break]
Consequently, the wards will be delivered to a punishment that is more—in the echoed words of the Megalopolan thrall—"manageable and survivable".[break][break]
However, the WEAKLING & DUMMY WARDS are not privy to the UGLY WARD'S own corrupted caucus. The Megalopolan responsible for communicating announces that THE DUMMY WARD will receive a punishment of some kind...

THE FEZANDIPITI LEADS THOSE IN THE UGLY WARD. Like schoolchildren, eventually everyone forms a single file line. Those who have been captured alongside your characters whimper and cry as they shuffle along.[break][break]
Above the cells, there is a small ledge that juts out closer to the tall ceiling. The FEZANDIPITI grabs the TOXIC CHAIN of the person in front with its purple-tipped beak. With surprising strength, the bird takes flight, hoisting its human-Falinks toward the ledge. It does not land, instead, it flies straight toward the wall the ledge juts out from.[break][break]
However, the bird does not crash into the wall. Rather, the wall slides open like Kitakami or Johtian shoji. The prisoners fly into the hallway; some remain airbone, while those with longer legs may find their feet striking the metal paneling of the floor midflight.[break][break]
Curiously, the hallway almost feels like it's never-ending, elongating ad nauseum. Tera crystals light their way and every time they reach a new sliding door, it opens to a repetitive stretch of futuristic corridor until finally...[break][break]
They rush through the final door. The door pushes open to reveal a circular chamber. The walls flicker with intricate patterns, blue lights that waltz and shift in the dim light. In the center of the chamber, a towering blue mask depicting a teary-eyed frown stands, attached at its base to a machine. Those keen-eyed may recognize the machine to be of Megalopolan-make...[break][break]

Casting kaleidoscoping patterns and refracting hypnotic lights across the Chamber of Desires, the air hums with its mysterious energy. As you near, you feel a subtle pull, as if drawn into its mesmerizing facade.[break][break]
Upon entry, your masks pop off. But not entirely. The TOXIC CHAIN keeps the mask dangling off your collar and neck. Cool air graces your sweaty skin.[break][break]
Behind you, the door closes shut. The FEZANDIPITI stands by the mask and from the other side of the room, a tall figure emerges from the dark. A TOXIC CHAIN obscures the Megalopolan's face, smothering his greedy mouth. Like a parasitic worm, the chain pumps something down his throat, forcing him to swallow. As he wades into the bright light, Velmos, one of the Megalopolan Generals from The Ultra Beast War, reveals himself, the TOXIC CHAIN popping off of his lips.[break][break]
"congratulations."[break][break]
He does not seem to recognize those he has met before. His eyes remain perfumed in purple.[break][break]
"the chamber of desires has been waiting for you." Velmos says. "bear witness to what i have seen through the mask. it will show you what you're capable of and what your true potential is. i was able to see a brighter future for me and my people. that future is imminent and you can be a part of it too."[break][break]
He grants every single one of you, still connected by chain, a look into the mask. One by one, you are instructed to peer in to the WELLSPRING MASK. Those who dissent will be forced by VELMOS, FEZANDIPITI and the TOXIC CHAIN wriggling around their necks.
THE MASK VIEWING INTO THE MASK, your character will be granted a vision of themselves gaining what they desire. This can be a personal improvement, an improved life, or an improved circumstance for another. In all of these scenarios, the TOXIC CHAIN makes its appearance on the person, on another, etc.[break][break]
Regardless, the mask makes the experience feel unbelievably real, resulting in the character potentially believing that through the TOXIC CHAIN, that these desires, no matter how contradictory or anachronistic, will be possible.[break][break]
YOU MUST ROLL this round. Those who ROLL ABOVE A 75 may be able to retain some skepticism.
After your visions, you are directed to another chamber: a communal shower room that douses you periodically with hot, almost scalding, water.
CLEAN-UP CREW
THOSE IN THE DUMMY & WEAKLING WARD are transferred to the lower levels by platform. The DUMMY WARD PRISONERS are corralled onto the platform first like livestock before they reach the WEAKLING WARD. [break][break]
There, the WEAKLING WARD PRISONERS board too, with their respective Megalopolan speakers. It is a tight fit—but the platform is wide enough to accommodate their numbers.[break][break]
They descend. Lower and lower they go as unnerving darkness floods upwards. They can hear the groaning of pipes, of what sounds like engines, boilers or machinery. Finally, the platform stops, and the prisoners are unloaded forcibly. [break][break]
Something stirs in the floor below this one. A growling, muffled noise and heavy footfalls. As everyone departs the platform, it begins to rise up once more, exposing a hole.[break][break]
It is sheer darkness below, save for a mochi pounding bowl lit up by a dim futuristic lamp.[break][break]
The OKIDOGI roars and begins to toss you into the floor below. You land on the ground—but it is not as hard of a landing as you may have expected. You land on piles of leftover mochi... and the remains of the slain prisoners.[break][break]
Pleased with itself, the OKIDOGI flexes and showboats. A high-five and snicker is rewarded to the canine by the MUNKIDORI.[break][break]
Their designated Megalopolan speakers explain their punishment: "the never-rot despises filth. you will be responsible for cleaning it. place the filth into the bowl and our custodian will dipose of it. your punishment ends when the floor is 'spotless'."[break][break]
Above, the wardens and the designated Megalopolans watch as you toil away in the darkness, grasping blindly at mushy mochi and whatever else that graces your roughened hands...[break][break]
Sure, this seems manageable. Survivable. However, as the punishment commences, the muffled growling grows louder. The sound of a sliding door opening and closing can be heard accompanying the taunting laughter of a monkey.[break][break]
Something comes your way. And it is not friendly. Through the dark, it charges through. A prisoner screams as they are discovered. Though they are not killed, they are beaten: evident by the raucous sound of wooden kicking.[break][break]
When it nears the bowl, the dim light reveals segments of its appearance: green hood, bipedal, spikes, and a brutal coil of toxic chains smothering its entire head. It does not sport a mask, for the fleshy chains have blinded it.[break][break]
Should it find you, although it is blinded, it will strike at you with an unbridled vengeance. Through kicks, headbutting, or a lashing of vines. [break][break]
The UGLY WARD's VOTE comes into play. Those in the DUMMY WARD find their chains suddenly thrusting into the floor, tethering them in place.[break][break]
"the ugly ward has deemed the dummy ward in need of worse punishment." The Megalopolan says. "remember their choice. they believe you deserve this."
FILTH OUSTIN' THE WEAKLING & DUMMY WARD PRISONERS are subject to cleaning duties. They must clean the floor of mochi and place it in the central bowl.[break][break]
Due to the UGLY WARD'S VOTE, the DUMMY WARD prisoners have extremely limited movement as they are chained to the floor.[break][break]
The threat that hunts down those in the floor will hurt them in some way.[break][break]
YOU MUST ROLL this round. Those who ROLL ABOVE A 50 (51-100) can choose to avoid being hurt by the creature.[break][break]
Those in the DUMMY WARD, Shred, and Isaac Merlo must roll with DISADVANTAGE. This means that you should ROLL TWICE; THE LOWER NUMBER WILL BE CHOSEN.

Eva Morales and Sylvia Cousteau have missed ONE ROUND. Missing too many rounds will result in no rewards; however, due to the setting and scenario, characters will not be retconned from the event.
