  A more personal plot for Eva, though it does extend beyond her due to her and Rayquaza's involvement in site narrative and the many characters they touched. The adjustment to losing her avatarship has not been an easy one for Eva. After years of having Rayquaza's presence a consistent hum in her soul, the emptiness has been astonishing and quite the challenge. She is her own greatest critique, and for someone who consistently seems to lose what she holds dear, she is reaching the breaking point of just how much she can take without losing hope and without hating herself. Imposter syndrome poisons her mind. Why isn't she good enough? Why can't be hold on to those she loves? Why can't they love her back? The world continues to crumble and the darkness seems to obscure everything while her light dims. With Rayquaza she had a purpose, a definition, and the power to go about instigating the changes she wanted to see in the world. She had a voice stronger than just her own. Without them she feels lost, weakened, insignificant. These feelings are only amplified by a series of dangerous encounters she barely escapes throughout the skirmishes. All the work she did to trying to unlock Rayquaza's potential has manifested in the torture of someone she holds dear. What she thought would be joy in seeing it manifest, she instead recognizes as fear, hate, and perhaps even jealousy. All these darker feelings she wouldn't entertain if she wasn't already so broken. It's strained her relationship with both Rayquaza and freya morningstar which impedes her ability to do her job and threatens to push away someone she loves. It's a long road to healing for someone who feels so much and is so fixated on her duty to those other than herself. Just how much more can she take before she finally breaks? Or will she find her new purpose and stave off her inner demons long enough to heal the festering wounds?

  Despite the inner turmoil and the encroaching darkness. Despite the persistent failure to meet her own lofty expectations and those of the ones around her, Eva Morales persists. She's a woman of duty and service. To her own detriment, she had the insatiable needs to serve those around her and something bigger than herself. Still true to the impactful conversation she had with FERNANDO SILPH a long time ago, she perseveres. She's readjusting and diving back into her duties as a Head Professor. It's the area she feels she could be the most impactful and work is something she can cling to for stability. She finds herself falling back into familiar roles: scientist, mentor, peacemaker. Despite the inner turmoil, she still holds true to her underlying ideals of hope, peace, and love. Although she still struggles with the idea of 'playing nice' with Rocket a bit, she recognizes the need or change. It ruffles feathers and puts her in precarious positions, but without hope, there is no dream of a brighter future. Dreams are the seeds of change. Nothing ever grows without a seed, and nothing ever changes without a dream. Without the dream of a more promising, peaceful, and collaborative future, what is there to fight for? The expansion of the war seems inevitable and hostility is high. Few must stand resolute as a voice a reason and beacon of light or else the darkness will claim them all.
