The more time she spends around these chains, the more her head starts to hurt.[break][break]
Vaguely, Luka remembers how it had felt to be chained back during the blood moon; a sickening ordeal she wouldn't wish upon anyone. So when it becomes clear that destroying the statures around them is the easiest way to free these people from their burdens, she sets to work without another thought.[break][break]
But as Helios prepares to kick one of the statues into dust, the woman kneeling before it cries out in a crazed protest. She flings her body over the statue of a bird, screeching at Luka and her Blaziken for interrupting her reverie. Her eyes are wide, and the look in them is barely human.[break][break]
And though Luka tries to be gentle, tries to sweetly coax the woman away from the statue, it ends with them locked in a grapple. All the frail strength in her noodly arms forces the other woman away, and as soon as there's enough clearance, Helios' high jump kick smashes the bird into dust.[break][break]
The woman blinks once, her eyes starting to clear. She looks confused, then alarmed. Luka ushers her away as her own head continues to throb; hopefully, the aid nearby League members are supplying will be able to help them both.[break][break]
