HOENN IS STILL IN BAD SHAPE

And with the start of the New Year, that means it's a fresh start for us all. Ji-Hoon Ki (Chu-e Choi ) is a private man who has recently moved back to Hoenn after medical treatment. His heart hurts for this region he fell in love with and is hoping that he can encourage those around him to clean it up. His family was raised that the new New Year was a time to refresh your mind and body, to throw out the evil of the last year so you could start the new one pure. As such, he is funding a region wide raffle to anyone who is willing to participate. Let's help freshen Hoenn![break][break][break]

At least, that's what Ji-Hoon claims in the many letters, fliers, and even a few newspaper ads he's put out. Ji-Hoon has hired a few people to help him distribute prizes but does not appear himself. He is still sick, you see, and not a man who craves the spotlight.[break][break][break]

If your character would like to enter, they can participate two ways![break][break][break]

• Finish SOCIAL threads detailing your character helping to clean up Hoenn, in whatever form that may take.
• DONATE pokemon that you don't want.

OKAY, BUT WHAT DO WE GET?

This Member Event is done IC but will have OOC prizes! IC, if you win the raffle, your character will win a monetary prize depending on how much participation we have. OOC, you will earn some art done by our lovely King![break][break][break]

• 1st Place will get a Halfbody of one of your characters with a pokemon companion of your choice!
• 3 Runner-Ups will get a Custom Emote!

Each person can only win one prize, so we will have four winners total!

AND HOW DO WE EARN THAT?

Entries will be earned by completing SOCIAL threads or DONATING pokemon, as mentioned above. Social threads will earn 5 entries per page. Social threads must be marked completed by a staff in order to qualify. So, a 3 page Social will earn 15 entries for everyone who participates, as an example.[break][break][break]

If you DONATE your pokemon, you will earn 1 entry per pokemon. There is no cap on this and you can donate as many as you like. Please note, if you donate these pokemon, you DO lose them. You will need to remove them from your PC. If you are donating a pokemon, make sure you post all of it's stats if it has any. If you do not post it's stats, you will not qualify for the entry. If the pokemon is gacha and does not have stats, just mark it as being gacha.[break][break][break]

Finally, there is a BONUS! Since it's the New Year, if you RP with someone you've not RP'd with before, you will earn 5 extra entries when you turn in your thread! Just make sure you mention it when you reply if it's a new person! Keep in mind, this is NOT a new character, but a new PERSON. For example, I have RP'd with only 2 of Castaway's characters, but if I RP'd with a 3rd I wouldn't get the bonus. However, I haven't RP'd with Spiral yet, so I would get the bonus for RPing with him![break][break][break]

• Only threads created and completed between december 31st 2020 - january 31st 2021 will count for this event.
• Prizes will be raffled sometime on february 1st 2021.
• Keep an eye out for a small, special event when the results are posted!
• Shiv has confirmed that if you still meet the 2 page requirement, you can still earn Lucky Letters with your Social threads. Double dip!
• As soon as a pokemon is posted for donation, it is lost. You can not continue to use it.
• All of your characters may participate as entries are added OOC.
• If one of your characters would like to help fund the event IC, feel free to mention it below! They'll be added to the follow up prize thread posted on february 1st.
