The battle was becoming--chaotic. Oscar cringed as a stray chill wrapped around him, the shadow of the ice wall accenting the raging battle. The balance of power was so thin, he couldn't tell which side had the advantage. His brief bout of uncertainty changed to joy when Tiffany ( ) brought out her secret weapon. Three shots ran out, and Oscar cackled as he covered his ears.

"Yeah! Fuck him up Tiff!" 

Oscar looked to the champion, hoping to see him buckle over with three bullet holes in his gut. No such luck, the bullets were hindered by the rocks jutting out before them. Bad timing it would seem, no matter. Chu-e surely had more bullets, giving him ample opportunity to try again. Yet missing bullets were the least of their problems, as the champion's Manetric unleashed two waves of rolling electricity. Oscar quickly improvised, sliding like an overly eager baseball player behind his Nidoqueen. He tucked himself into a ball, yelping as the electricity began rippling past Desolence from all sides. The hairs of his wig began to rise up, prompting him to curse. "He's ruining my fucking hair!"

Desolence was unbothered by the discharges, her Ground/Steel typing allowing the waves to harmlessly pass over her. She glared through the electricity toward the Blissey, unamused by it deflecting her Iron Tail. Desolence was about to charge forward, when she remembered that her master just slid in next to her. If she moved, he'd be in huge trouble. The shadow beast roared toward the electric dog, furious at its relentless assault on her master. She lifted a foot, stomping it down forcefully toward the dog and its master. A shockwave rippled across the ground, followed by a rumbling as the very earth burst forth to rip apart the electric invader (Earth Power).

Oscar kept his head down, calling out to Britney ( ) as nidoqueen changed targets. "Hey Britney, keep the blissey off us!" With a hyper voice ringing, a massive fire tornado ripping apart the wall, and everyone and their mother making noise, Oscar couldn't imagine this battle becoming any more chaotic.

Xurkitree pulled up as the Buzzwole pulled up a wall of earth. Its magnetic flow repulsed the ground, causing rocks to burst outward as it passed. It wouldn't go far, quickly turning to keep up its assault and maintain the Buzzwole's attention. Its head blinked before unleashing another Signal Beam, rippling through the air to meet its fellow ultra beast.

With Gavin injured and another man down, their careful planning fractures at the edges. He stares into the black waters that had consumed the scientist and all of his promise and with a grim expression, looks away and onward. They have no time to waste — the not-Claydol would fare better in searching for him, and the threat of discovery pulls tighter as their group thins.

"His Pokémon will search. If they don't find anything..."

The rest is left unsaid, Gavin wincing as his broken wrist sends pulses of agony through his arm. Some breaths are through his teeth, marked by the soft hiss emitted from the gas mask.

Gavin's own, real Claydol floats his discarded knife toward him with psychic energy. Clenching it in his good hand, Gavin considers his desire for vengeance against the now-collapsed Lucario. A sick desire to lop off the offending paw that had broken his wrist is set aside, like 's whereabouts, as inferior to the glory of Rocket and their mission ahead. Another sharp intake of breath, and the underboss turns from their defeated foes to the shadowy rift that 's Pokémon creates.

It closes quick as it had opened and without sound nor warning, and a soured mood grows worse. They'll be going on foot, then.

More instinctive than intentional, Gavin finds himself straying closest to , her presence an enduring comfort. "Can your Porygon analyze the best way forward? It seems to know something we don't." He looks to his Claydol, the eerie Pokemon slowly spinning on the spot. "If you know what's going on, feel free to do your part." It's not like it can answer him with words, so he stares expectantly. To the group, he adds with an undercurrent of urgency, "If neither can help, we just need to be moving, and quickly. It could be as simple as an imprisoning effect, same as we've done."

Simple, but not easy to work around.

To , he offers a nod. "Appreciate the help." To any other, it might've seemed a simple expression of gratitude after she'd downed a threat, but there's something deeper in his eyes should his sister care to search for it: pride.

The bullets looked clean, like they would hit... only to ricochet off rock, causing Chu-e to click his tongue and growl in frustration. He kept the gun in hand, barrel still hot, but kept it lowered for now; he would wait for another time to shoot. He wanted these bullets to go into people, not their pathetic pokemon. Shame that right now the Champion looked like he might suffer from that gun violence, given his proximity.

"Thank's, Amanda!" Chu-e called out to as he ducked between behind Stars. The Clefable cried out as she was hit, not even attempting to move in case it risked her Trainer. Thankfully, she was a damage sponge at the best of times. Not too powerful on her own, but that's why Chu-e had her mostly for utility anyway. "Mimi, Britney!" He called out, this time to and , poking his head out to check on his team. "Let's get this fucker and his mutt down!" A plan was forming in mind, it just relied on getting at properly. He trusted to keep the other two off them with Splo's help and to deal with the one that ran off.

"Stars!" He barked at the Clefable, who grimaced, the attack has still hurt, but she raised her hand. She attempted to create a glowing blue rain cloud infused with healing energy, to rain down lightly on her team. It would help them keep in the fight a little longer.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the field, Splo was more a sitting target than anything. The Giga Impact, while powerful, always left him quite vulnerable for a bit after. He panted and tried to catch his breath, glowering at the other trainers and their pokemon. That Charizard would be a problem and already took a hell of a hit- after catching his breath, Splo took a deep breath, sucking in some of the pink mist from the Misty Terrain; then unleashed it in a powerful burst of pink energy aimed at the Charizard and any other pokemon that happened to be around him. He couldn't move to get out of the way of anything that attacked him, but he could at least attempt that much



- Chu-e hides behind Clefable, who gets hit.
- Clefable tries to use Life Dew on her teammates
- Lickilicky tries to use Terrain Pulse (Fairy) on Charizard, but can't move otherwise due to Giga Impact

Bryan called out to his audino and his grimmsnarl "Grimmsnarl! audino! dodge!" he ordered but it was useless as it was too late his audino and grimm both let out a yelp in pain as they took the brunt of the attack for their trainer. He frowned as the manectric was immediately being a pain in his ass with that damn attack...was it one of those strange pokemon that have been popping up? No matter, not like thinking on it heavily would make a difference. Bryan looked over at when his fake name was called.  " Yes mam! Audino use dazzling gleam!" to try and take care of anyone who'd try to interfere with chu-e  by going for an aoe attack with audino. "Grimmsnarl! anyone who tries to attack her, Foul Play!" he said as grim began to watch the area carefully. Audino's body began to glow with a dazzling pink light as  beams of light began to fly outwards in random directions to try and cause some damage and draw attention towards his audino.

The ominous silence from the other side of her communications device has the sailor spewing out a foul curse, largely ignoring the chaotic flashes of battle as she directs her Gallade. She does, however, make sure to grin at as reality melts away and she's teleported away.

Before the sailor can as much as blink she's already on another side of the ship. The contrast is disorienting at first, but Skyler doesn't let herself acclimate to it; a silvery gaze immediately flashing to the ship captain. Her voice is a staccato of commands, quickly repeating her earlier words to those present: take the ship away from the docks into the high seas. It's time to leave. Now.



Making sure to recall Lapras, Skyler only stays long enough to be certain her message is received in full and enacted, adrenaline bringing into sharp focus the need to jump back into the fray. The thought of flames burning up 's legs won't leave her mind, setting her teeth on edge and bringing forth a new wave of urgency.

It's as she's about to leave that she remembers the speargun strapped to her back. Confident, well-practised movements bring the weapon to her hands, just in case.

For the second time that night, Skyler TELEPORTS away. She reappears still on the ship, leaning over the railing so that she can overlook the docks. The jingling at her belt growing louder as Skyler has Klefki use HEAL BLOCK on the battlefield below, its PRANKSTER enabling it to act quickly.

Flames, heat, explosion -- it's chaotic. It's hard to understand what is happening because it all happens so quickly. The ground underneath him cracks and his Eelektross' Rock Tomb splits open the earth. Unfortunately, there is both a pro and a con to this. The con is that he has to watch as 's bullets crash against the rock, and though the other doesn't look at him, Jayden feels like it's something that he may have to pay for later. The latter is that the move does hit the Manectric, which at least bites back the bitterness some.

[break][break] But the Manectric is still a problem and as the electricity explodes from the canine, something cracking and popping like thunder in his ear, Jayden finds himself wincing - bracing - for impact as the sparks fly towards him.

[break][break] Aurelus is quick to come to his defense, however, jumping in front of his trainer and Smeargle, taking the brunt of the damage. It is fortunate that the attack is only half-effective due to typing, but it still has to hurt. As Jayden looks up from the smoke, he sees a crackle of electricity around the Eelektross - one that seems to only grow brighter with each passing second. What was he -

[break][break] His attention was pulled as their commander called out to himself and . "Yes, Boss!" Jayden - Mimi responded - pointing at the run-away champion. "Get 'im!" Aureulus snapped forward, using SPARK and empowered by the electricity from the residual discharge to stop the champion in his tracks. Or at least, attempt it.

[break][break] Meanwhile, his eyes flickered towards the Blissey that was currently giving both and a rough time. "Nyx," Jayden murmured to Smeargle, who's tail immediately began to glow in turn. "Dark Void. Knock her out." Beginning to glow, the Smeargle darted forward and pushed his paws forward. Balls of midnight-black surged from his grip and towards the Blissey, ones that would easily knock out the pokemon or anyone else who were hit by it.

the manectric's attack prove to be pivotal in giving kyle some breathing room amid the mess he had voluntarily put himself in. he recalls the confused smeargle to its pokeball in the mean time to get a good grip on his surroundings.

with a click of his tongue, he tries to soothe the manectric from further going off and reel in back a bit from its growing mania.

"discharge." the manectric starts to growl as soon as he heards the command. "then volt switch out." a yelp of defiance sounds softly from the shadow pokemon.

another burst of discharge envelops the battlefield, laced with the same kind of poison as before, electrocuting every rocket pokemon in the vicinity for the third time.

after expending everything, his attention goes to the pokemon closely resembling as one of kyle's. pent up aggression to thee pokemon he wasn't allowed to tussle with makes it a target in his eyes as he charges at the ditto, turning into a bolt of electricity, ramming straight into the normal-type, before going back to its pokeball.

should the manectric make its way back, kyle's own smeargle pops out.

'Shit shit shit' Razz couldn't help but think to himself, now injured from burns and this Lickilicky still targeting them. Or more specifically the Charizard which right now, as much as he hated fire types, needed with them. Though seeing as this was Senon's Charizard it should be fine. The normal type however was a sitting duck due to the previous giga impact. "Move us and once more!" Razz ordered as Link used GRASS PLEDGED on the vulnerable Lickilicky after grabbing his trainer to move and avoid the Terrain Pulse. It wasn't aimed at them but Razz rather not be near it. As it uses Grass Pledge he does take this time to try and see if whatever moved their attack the first time could do it again. [break][break]

As they do that for now Razz returns his Rotom before it could be hurt from it's own burns for now. It's done it's job for now and he'll call on them again if needed. Though past everything Razz did notice that most of them seemed to have the champion surrounded. Taking in a long breath he does a long and loud whistle knowing he's trained the Ultra Beast he had well enough to know what to do. [break][break]

While his defense held up Buzzwole was ready to go on the offensive once more. At least until he heard his trainer's whistle, one that meant usually meant help now if able. So as the wired pokemon came close already the bug pokemon used his own wings and the leg muscles jump in the direction and quickly take off. [break][break]

It's quick to take off doing what it can to be careful of the signal Beam now chasing them. When it sees the large group of trainers it figures that this is the problem the ranger wants taken care of. Oh did Crimsen have a fun idea, with the Singal Beam chasing them Crimson does what he can to charge at the group before punching his hands together and going in for the swing at any target he could get in a straight line with DRAIN PUNCH. It's final and main target being the Smergle group of opponents. So if it's other line up misses oh well as long as they hopefully get the enemy wild card. He'll take the Dazzling Gleam to get through as the Drain Punch to restore at least some of it's health. Not only are they targeted by the Drain Punch but he's hoping the other Ultra Beast is still following with Signal Beam to have it attack their allies. [break][break]

The hallway of unconscious bodies and spikes remained before them, but it appeared he wouldn't be able to assist his companions in crossing it.[break][break]

So, without a word, the masked admin grabs onto one of his Dragapult's horns and prompts it to swiftly ferry him across. The soles of his boots touch ground again once they've crossed it, and he reunites with the less than pleased underboss before returing his dragon to its ball. "Quite a shame about the plague doctor," He remarks, clipping the ball back to his belt before drawing another. "Shame about your wrist, too."[break][break]

A Gothitelle, poised and elegant, is summoned beside the masked admin. The Fox turns to regard it with a nod. "Future Sight. I want to know if there are any surprises waiting for us ahead... and whether this barrier extends any further than it already has." Pleased to serve her master, Wednesday's eyes glow before attempting to breach the veil with her FUTURE SIGHT.[break][break]

The Fox, in the meantime, returns his attention to the underboss. "My Gothitelle can help heal you in a moment, should you like." He nods, turning his gaze towards the woman () by him shortly after she is thanked. "Indeed. Well done."[break]

She watched the bodies fall at once, dead weights in heaps on the deck between the traps she’d set. Instead of relishing in her success, instead she felt critical of her prior decision. They now had to make it over the obstacles she’d placed.

What was more was that during the chaos, had gone missing. No, shit. Eyes searched in a nature slightly more frantic than anyone would be able to tell. She’d recruited him. He was her catch, and he still had information she wanted. She sighed; a hot puff of air through the respirator before she turned her attention to their remaining team.

She looked up at her brother, , concerned, although he’d never know it. “Of course.” The smile was safely hidden behind the visor which would only reflect his disguise back at him. A nod was given to @remiel, as well, happy to hear that his Gothitelle would be able to help.

Following the lead of and her Porygon-Z, Lulu’s eyes were carefully peeled. Reaching into a pocket within her thick jacket again, she released her Frosmoth. “Go help look ahead.” The moth pokemon would do as told, giving a HELPING HAND. Meanwhile, a CRAFTY SHIELD flashed around them, courtesy of her Klefki.

Teeth gnashing at 's successful departure, Chanel is at the precipice of choosing what is best not just for her team but for Team Rocket's entire operation. Without all of the league's strongest forces grouped to one place, the infiltration team might be in danger of being exposed and the battle between their forces being brought to the ship instead. 's presence by the docks is a matter of grave consideration especially how the drag queens' forces struggle with the relentless attacks of their pokemons.

And before she can decide what to do, the discharge sends rippling through the port grounds into where Chanel is standing.

“Eggnog, shield us!”

LIGHT SCREEN begins to envelop the pair as they brace the incoming electric wave towards them. Amidst the chaos that erupts on the battlefield, she tries to call on to relay her plan.

“I'll be back, Tiffy!”

Taking of her heels and tucking them on her belt, the tallest lady among the group of drag queens offers her imposing height in exchange of agility, making her way into the ship's dock to follow where might have been located.

It hurt to see Amaterasu take such a hit. Hopefully it was a real first step towards Razz' forgiveness of Fire-types.

It wasn't the most secure move to offer up one of his own to take a blow for the team. Yet, it had to be done; they couldn't afford for one of their own to fall.

As for Razz' savior; what didn't kill her made her hotter; the flamed tip of her black tail proved it. After taking the hit she did head on; she was raring at full BLAZE.

Before fleeing their side of the battlefield Razz' and his Decidueye left their fiery comrades with a gift of GRASS PLEDGE. Seemingly the younger Ranger thought the same thing Sénon had; luck was nice but it wouldn't strike twice.

The redhead screamed in baritone to his black-winged beauty, "To me; FIRE PLEDGE!" Spreading her wings again Amate' moved to return to her master's side of the battlefield and save herself this time rather than one of the humans.

It looked like the Lickilicky, one of the enemies' heavy hitters was trying to attack after using such an exhaustive attack. He doubted it could, there was always a price to pay for such powerful moves.

Some hit with recoil to the pokémon, some left the pokémon debilitated and vulnerable for an exploitable amount of time, and some, could only be done when two pokemon attacked together.

The fire & grass combo attack formed again, this time in a scattering of potent little 'blades' of fire, set to burn until they snuffed themselves out.



The bulk of them targeting Clefable one of the few pokémon in the field that couldn't be saved by its trainer (from the look of it), nor it's trainer's other pokémon.

Once neared enough to their side of the field Blissey moved to shield her human from the dark (void) attack coming from the enemy smeargle and rather than return an attack she lifted her arms to the sky calling a halo of healing unto landed the Charizard.
