INFILTRATION SQUAD

LIKE A WELL-OILED MACHINE, members of the infiltration squad transport themselves to the ship without killing time. Each of the different methods of teleportation is met with slight resistance. A BARRIER, already shielding the vehicle from potential trespassers, limits their access. They reach only as far as it allows them to, congregating in a far corner of the ship that the barrier failed to cover in full.[break][break]

Emma Wolfe ’s Zoroark glares ahead, a gleam of red flashing in its eyes. The ILLUSION sets in and enshrouds the squad with a protective layer of invisibility, seemingly allowing them to fade into nothing. However, it is evident that the ability of the shadow pokemon is not meant to be used on such a large crowd. Beyond Emma and Zoroark itself, cracks in the glamour of its illusion begin to show, revealing other members of the squad in bits and pieces.[break][break]

Naturally, this draws immediate attention from the nearby trainers.[break][break]

“W-What is that over there?” One of them asks, eyes blinking in unison with its Lucario partner. The aura pokemon unleashes a wave of energy with the intent of revealing what’s in front of them, managing to do so partially.[break][break]

Cillian Quinn , Remiel Calcifet , Alek Xanders , Lulu Flint , and all of their pokemon are revealed then and there.[break][break]

“We have company here! Hurry up!” The first of the trainers to notice them yells out, warning others of the intruders. Others begin to swarm the area, releasing their own pokemon from within their capsules. The Lucario is joined by a couple more pokemon: a pair of two glowy-eyed felines, a stern-looking Weavile, and an Empoleon that stands front and center, shielding the rest with its bulky wings. In the meantime, Emma Wolfe ’s Porygon also LOCKS ON a certain, peculiar barrier of energy it is incapable of processing. In all of its archives of knowledge, nothing similar to it has been recorded in the past. However, it would know how to lead the squad to the source of this energy, but not before the trainers ahead of them are dealt with.[break][break]

DIVERSION SQUAD & LEAGUE SQUAD

IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS, fire blossoms. The combined efforts of Rocket’s best drag queens prove lethal. The warehouse is blown into bits and pieces, causing a tremor in the ground that’s felt by any man, woman, and pokemon standing in the dock. The Rocket squad sows destruction all for the purpose of creating a distraction.[break][break]

They are loud, obnoxious, and impossible to ignore.[break][break]

And it seemed as if the squad of elite League trainers was in agreement. Following kyle lopez ’s lead, they each take calculated moves to deal with the apparent risk of the so-called extreme environmentalists.[break][break]

skyler dross is the first to protect their group from the pink cloud of confusing gas. In a joint effort of both the SAFEGUARD and the WIDE GUARD, her Lapras and Gallade create a temporary barrier that psychically forces the gas to calcify. The result is unlike anything she could ever imagine. The gas turns solid, showering down in a show of a dazzling, pink hail that shatters upon reaching the ground. Thankfully, no one is within range to find the effects it could have on their body.[break][break]

Razz Kingsman ’s Shadow Rotom uses the spectacle to its advantage. The residual fairy energy is converted into a strange, unknown matter that it seems capable of manipulating. Shadows spread across the field, draining the immediate area of artificial light. Lamps and other electronics shut down without a warning. [break][break]

The DARK TERRAIN sets just in time for the electric-type to send a DISCHARGE in the direction of its opponents, rapidly closing on them.[break][break]

In the face of the spreading shadows, kyle lopez ’s Smeargle points its tail at bryan delarosa ’s Audino, intent on taking advantage of the strange terrain. It unleashes a DARK VOID that upon reaching the healer pokemon, morphs into a pair of dark claws that capture the normal-type in a sphere of darkness.[break][break]

When the same sphere dissipates, Bryan is able to discern that his pokemon has grown drowsy and will fall asleep at any given moment now. [break][break]

With one pokemon dispatched, Hoenn’s new champion commands his Manteric to tend to another, joining Sénon Game’s in an effort to target Valerio Dachev ’s Shadow Togepi next. First, Sénon Game’s trained choir sings its ROUNDING opening, assaulting the shadow pokemon with visible, musical notes that are sent in its way. However, it is partially saved from further damage, the ROAR forcing the Togepi to return to its owner’s Pokeball.[break][break]

oscar clayton 's floating Xurkitree succeeds in its goal to sow further chaos. The pokemon's SIGNAL BEAM aids Razz Kingsman 's Shadow Rotom, furthering the range of electronics that seem to shut down irregularly. The area grows DARKER AND DARKER, allowing the DARK TERRAIN to cover more area. In turn, the SIGNAL BEAM also finds more unsuspecting targets with its attack.[break][break]

It collides with the ship, rocking it left and right. For a moment— everyone falls silent and grows still. Should the ship sink into the sea, both Rocket and the League will lose the valuable cargo. [break][break]

Delicate care would have to be exercised from both sides.[break][break][break]
