priam looks around the area and sees that the commotion has more or less contained itself. most trainers have taken it up to defend the festival while priam's out here taking care of his mess. at the very least, it's not something people can pin to him.

still, a number of the taurus were still out rampaging about. priam stops running away since he realizes that makes him look more suspicious and stops.

"let's just keep hitting them just to be safe."

Zac forced his head upwards. His wooden horns creaked as he strained against the Tapu Bulu. He needed to look this creature in the eyes. "Why are you here?" Zac shouted. He could see the creature's body now. Just black, ornamented with bells instead of hands of feet. "Why are you here now? Kazimir Wynter called you one of the guardians. That means you let the other three defend Hoenn. Where were you?"
Zac strained, he forced his head up, neck and shoulders bulging. He pushed the last few centimeters upwards, until he would just see the creature's vibrant green eyes.
"Where were you when Hoenn needed you?" he asked. Searching Tapu Bulu's eyes for answers. What was it feeling? Anger? Confusion?
Zac hoped it was feeling remorse. A searing anger built in him. Swelling to match Zagrea's burning storm.
"You've got a lot of nerve showing up now."

With another stray Tauros out the way Ranton and Sénon looked for another to subdue only to find that all the rest of them had been subdued.

With the Tauros all stopped the Festival could continue as it was.

Feeling a bit bad of the Tauros he'd injured Sénon called Blissey from her pokémon to heal the bite wound left from Ranton's ICE FANG.

With a focused HEAL PULSE she closed the nasty gash and resealed the mended flesh with her soothing touch.

Similarly while there was still time he Ranton was made to gather up the Tauros in proximity and Blissey sprinkled the lot of them with medicinal healing waters with her LIFE DEW.

Before long several of them were healed and herded again, the red Gyarados their temporary shepherd.

with everything settling down, priam goes back to being a civilian. the backpack on top of a yukata looks weird, moreso when he lets is espeon ride it back, but it's more normal than everyone else going full apeshit against the taurus.

"i'm just a normal civvie. don't mind me..." he hums quietly to himself as he takes out his phone to stare at its blank screen, wandering around the festival aimlessly to mesh with the crowd.

he looks on meeting someone else and try to appear panicked about the entire situation, though he'd rather find someone he knows to check and see how they fared at the clown fiesta.

Fernando fumbles over the awkward conversation by funneling his attention to the situation at hand. As more trainers coral toward Tapu Bulu, he too gets drawn by the crowd and attention. "Well, Alfric, I wish you nothing but the best. You can leave this to—" Knowing the other trainer's Fernando hesitates to lie to her. "—eager hands." [break][break]

both she and her pokemon politely dip their heads as he takes his leave, the woman's companion's having been previously instructed on the man's importance. once he was beyond her reach, Sénon Game 's rockruff came into view. the canine rushed toward her, eyes bright and tail wagging as he finally discovered the location of his master's mate.

"oh?"

she blinked down at the pokemon before reaching to scoop them up, quickly identifying the rock-type's identity as her lips spread into a grin.

'right on time.'

"hey, baby," she crooned, her hand reaching to scratch behind the dog's ear. "where's daddy at?"

cait pressed a gentle kiss upon the dog's forehead, her obvious affection for the younger pokemon within his care unsurpassed.

"can you lead me back to him?"

after a moment of spoiling the creature, she'd set him down gently - her look one of expectation.

'it looks like gengar hasn't had any luck yet.'

He really hated people sometimes, he really did. It was why he took on the job of helping pokemon when he decided he no longer wanted to be a hermit. As it seemed like another mask figure was in Hoenn besides the Pokken Rider. Though whether or not the man liked the persona or if he was hiding it because the bastard decided to call upon a giant Ultra Beast he wasn't sure. What was with these people and sending out ULTRA BEAST in a festival like this?! Yes the war was over, but wounds were still fresh and panic among the masses was still a thing. The last thing most of Hoenn needed to see was people who have these things. [break][break]

And with his rain dispelled the group was on the deity again. "I've come to learn that there are people into anything," Razz comments, oddly enough talking to Chu-e Choi was the most normal thing going on as he tried to think on how to help. Not wanting things to be on fire, screw the people who think it's a good idea, he'll whistle again for Sobble to bring forth another RAIN DANCE. "Whis!" he calls to his cat, "help Laurel get in close and heal them," he orders and they seem confused but his stern expression makes it clear he was serious. [break][break]

"Thank you, oddly enough you're not being the violent one of the bunch of crazies," he can't help but compliment the other as Salem used LIGHT SCREEN to help with any of the Energy Balls that came near. With that the Zeraora gets close to use HEAL PULSE on Tapu Bulu as they were technically a guardian of Hoenn, and more important all this started with some idiots setting off a 'prank' and putting the pokemon in a panic. And while he doesn't agree with the Tapu's reaction at all, the trainers ganging up on them with Ultra Beast and more wasn't something he was going to support.

[attr="class","hanatext"]Life goes on with or without her influence, time never failing to slip by as she indulges in this sliver of peace that she rarely has. Rubia is safe and so are all her other pokemon, each probably fast asleep and oblivious to the fate that almost befell her - Thankfully so, or she may have been getting a few more bite marks and bruises to add to her collection of wounds to tend to. But that moment of bliss doesn't last for long, her attention abruptly dragged back to reality as her gaze shifts up towards the approaching figure.

Anger. Though she's fallen out of touch with that particular emotion herself, Lilith knows better than to ignore that tight-lipped glare or that raised voice, her eyes widening ever so slightly as she grips Rubia closer to her chest. Her breath quickens, her eyes shutting tight and her body trembling as she attempts to scoot backwards and instinctively curls up to protect her Wooloo.

But nothing happens. At least, nothing along the lines of what she expects. Instead, she's gently lifted to her feet, supported by steady hands as Rubia leaps from her arms to reduce her load. But the Wooloo isn't done just yet, an unnatural snarl crossing her features as she manages something akin to a bark towards the stranger, her eyes narrowing into slits even as she follows close behind.

"I- I'm fine..." Slow to process the happenings, Lilith doesn't possess enough confidence to trust the man just yet, her gaze very clearly flicking about to seek a way out. And yet, her body fails to follow up on the thought, her legs still shaky as they recover from the sudden break in an extended dash. The dying down of adrenaline means that pain is quick to sink in once more, the flaring up of her senses stifled as she bites her tongue for now.

Fortunately, the walk isn't long and she's settled down in the safety of cover, a silent but long exhale taken if only to allow herself to forget the agonising chill that crawls upon her skin. "It'll heal up by itself." She insists with a subdued tone, pushing Rubia closer to the Togekiss as she untangles the Wooloo from her backpack straps. "Please... heal her first."

To a regular person, Lilith is probably someone who's gone mad but nothing matters more to her than the wellbeing of her companions. "Rubia... was in danger... There wasn't enough time..." A lack of time or a lack of trust in the people who surrounded her? With a newfound breathing space far from the commotion, her mind clears just about enough to provide the man with a flimsy reasoning. Pulling her jacket closer to herself, she finds herself increasingly self-conscious about her injuries as it sits amidst an endless web of fading scars, numerous deep cuts and unidentifiable wounds long healed by the passage of time. "I'm fine... things like these... don't really hurt."

But she's only kidding herself, her mind already thinking of the cost of painkillers and other medical supplies she has to purchase for the next few days. As if sensing her discomfort, Rubia puffs up and steps between Lilith and Angelo, gifting the man a mean glare as if warning him to take even one step closer. His offer to look for an actual medical expert is tempting but she's already shaking her head as she pulls her legs closer to her chest to hide her injuries from view.

"No doctors or medics... please..."

The last thing she wants is to be questioned by more unfamiliar people.

Tl;dr - Lilith wants Rubia to be looked over and tries to hide her wounds. She's trying to avoid further medical attention.

Thankfully, mercifully, the rampaging was finally calming down—and now in its wake, there were injured people converging on separate ‘flash points’ that served as first-aid stations for those who had gotten caught in the crossfire.

“Keep it up, Vince,” he said to the Lucario as he looked around—thank Arceus most of the stalls in their area hadn’t been damaged, so there were people still approaching, headed their way for first-aid and healing.

The four avians he’d sent out finally converged back where he stood, and he nodded once all four had assembled.

“Good work, all of you,” he remarked to the Aerodactyl, the noivern, the Braviary and the Salamence. “Thanks.”

With a quick flash of his hand, he recalled the four avians; eager to let them rest.

“Well that went down reasonably well, don’t you think?” he inquired in Ruby Walker’s direction. “Still, though, rampaging Tauros kind of made me... uh, stress-eat.”

It was true: the platter he was holding now held a pyramid of empty sticks.

Otafuku is only given a few mere moments to succumb to her sudden bashfulness, however, before another Tauros comes charging at them from the plaza nearby. Annoyed by the interruption, the Leavanny shoots the bull a lethal glare before spewing an ELECTRO WEB at the snorting beast.[break]

Hideo was still struggling to understand everything going on. But he was a lot more worried about Doug’s solution.

He wanted to stay; there was a stampede of something going on, and he felt obligated to try and help stop it. But he hadn’t prepared for something like this, for the only two Pokemon he’d brought were his Hatterene and Ribombee. Neither were fit for dealing with a horde of big Pokemon.

Perhaps more vital, there was the fact that he was supposed to be here with his brother. They’d planned to meet up when they were heading out, or in case something crazy like this happened. They were both screwed if they didn’t get back home together, especially after something as dangerous as what was happening right now.

But he couldn’t get his way out of Doug’s hold, and his Hatterene was unable to intervene in her slumber. And his Ribombee was preoccupied helping deter any Tauros by tossing some Pollen Puffs at them, having silently come to agree with Doug’s choice.

Before he knew it, Hideo felt himself sinking down towards the ground. “Oh no,” he muttered, “No no no no no.” He knew he didn’t have enough time to convince them to not go through with it. The least he could do was quickly return his Hatterene into her Pokeball (he wasn’t exactly aware she was asleep - just that they’d done something to incapacitate her).

He could only hope wherever they were going to dump him wouldn’t be too far.

eventually, priam manages to slip into a more quiet section of the festival. most trainers have gone to the tapu bulu's side, aiming to calm it down from its rampage. he moves away from it, and as he does, he dials a number out from his phone to call the person he was with earlier.

"oh, hey! i think i'm gonna leave early tonight," he tells oscar clayton over the phone. he'd leave it on voice mail if he doesn't pick it up. "i don't want to get yelled at, so i'm outta here!"

he leaves as little details as possible in case someone overhears, though he knows that the rocket beast can piece it together with what he said. getting pinned down as a source of the conflict wasn't in his agenda for today.

he looks for peggie vela as he makes his way out of the festival, though he doesn't seem to be able to spot her from the chaos.

lilith eirwin can tell him that she’s fine all she wants but her body language tells Angelo a different story. He watches as the teenager folds in on herself, cocooning around the comfort of her jacket like it’s a protective shield, like she’s trying to make herself as small as possible – invisible. It’s a familiar sight and an even more relatable feeling. He gets it. [break][break]

And so, Angelo doesn’t press on the issue of the medical professional but he doesn’t move away, either. Even as the girl’s Wooloo protectively bounces between them, attempting to look as fierce as a guard Arcanine on the job, the courier doesn’t step back. Refusing to leave, not until he's sure. [break][break]

“Alright. Fine. Ankaa,” he turns towards his Togekiss, who had been fussing over the girl primarily, gesturing towards the little sheep to comply with the teenager’s wishes. “Take care of – Rubia, right? – for a minute. And you. Stay there, I’m going to see if there’s anything here that can help...” Angelo adds, insisting the girl stay put as he crouches down to rummage through the abandoned stall, pillaging through the contents of the shelves underneath the countertop for anything that might be of use. [break][break]

Ankaa, meanwhile flutters towards the Wooloo, beads of LIFE DEW floating down to sink into its wool, nuzzling close to the other pokemon and letting out mothering, fussy coos. Nearly sitting on it like a bird would its chick. [break][break]

It turns out the stall was originally selling some kind of clothing merchandise and so it’s barely a minute before Angelo has claimed two bandanas, emblazoned with a goofy cartoon Tauros print, from the abandoned stock. He was sure the owners wouldn’t mind, or notice, two missing items when they returned… [break][break]

Ankaa coats the fabric until they’re soaked through with the healing properties of LIFE DEW and Angelo holds them both out to Lilith to take. One for her and Rubia. “Here. If you’re going to be stubborn and not see someone about it, wrap that around your burns, at least.” Then he wipes the residue off his palms and onto his ash-stained jeans. [break][break]

Whether Lilith decides to do anything with the makeshift bandages or not, Angelo glances over towards the festival that they had tucked themselves away from, noting that there were fewer fleeing civilians and charging, agitated pokemon than there had been minutes prior… It was a good sign. [break][break]

“It looks like the Tauros herd is thinning…” he informs the teenager, hands tucking into his pockets as he leans his hip against the edge of the counter; fingertips brushing absentmindedly against his concealed bottle of rum, playing with the screw lid. After all of this is done, he can’t promise that the rest of the contents will remain in the container for long… [break][break]

“You sure you’ll be fine?” There's a pause, contemplating with a wrinkle in his brow. It's gone after his mouth parts to speak again. “If you can’t walk to the end of the stall without looking like you’re eating a Sour Grepa candy, I’m not going to be convinced, you know.” Angelo challenges, light smile on his lips as he nods to the girl in encouragement; covering his own concerned feelings with something easy going and hopefully reassuring. [break][break]

If she can’t, then he’d have to stick around... Grumpy Wooloo or not.

The battle against Tapu Bulu was intense.. not only was the legendary reckless, it somehow seemed to gain even more power absorbing energy from the small plants that were scattered without the festival. As the pokemon cried out Dakota's ears felt numb the barrage of attacks from other trainers only worsened the chaos, he wasn't even sure what had been going on. If one thing stood out to Dakota throughout all the chaos it would be when a lone teenager (Lilith) Charged towards the legendary to retrieve Rubia. "Lilith!! " A desperate holler would call out towards her, but it didn't stop her.

Dakota was also about to charge in to help Lilith, her actions were completely reckless - they were insane. He was angry, unable to comprehend why she would do such a thing. But then she came back, Rubia seemed unharmed the same couldn't be said about her - from the looks of things she was badly burned. His anger vanished replaced with relief, she was badly injured but he had faith that she'd be fine for now they needed to get medical attention for her. It was then Angelo also came forward, taking the girl and woolo away from the fight. He didn't have time to thank the man but he really appreciated it.

Dakota realized that this place was way to intense, and that it'd be better if Rowan also were to leave, he did know Lilith better then him after all. "Rowan you go check on her" Dakota realized he was an idiot for involving another teenager, last thing he wanted was for him to get injured as well. "I'll help calm things down"

What with all of the fires breaking out and the trainers seemingly the ones both starting and stopping them, Stormy has to stop and scratch her head at the whole turn of events.[break][break]

"Can't we ever just have a smooth-sailing festival and gathering of people? Why does it always end up in flames?"[break][break]

She literally looks at her own hands, currently without their spark.[break][break]

"And it isn't even me starting the fires this time - or any time. Jeez..."[break][break]

But it seems that the fires are dying and the Tauros have come to a standstill. The paths are trampled and the people are stopping to catch their breath, throwing blankets over the heads of many of the previously-enraged (or rather, frightened) Tauros to keep them calm.[break][break]

All that remains is the Tapu Bulu and all his pride and glory. Frankly, he was the one she was most upset with, among others who had unleashed their Heatran to inevitably cause more harm than good.[break][break]
