How in the hell could something like this still work even if it had been found underwater?

Had… had technology progressed so far to the point that man had finally overcome one of its biggest problems—to produce something that did not break when exposed to corrosive materials that could short out any piece of machinery in an instant?!

What the hell was a berry doing at the bottom of the ocean? Surely it wouldn't remain edible even for Pokémon after all that time spent marinating in seawater. He keeps it nevertheless, because it's kind of becoming a game to him to see how many ridiculous things he could find during his dives. Alas, not a one of those peculiar finds had been a crown.

Maybe today's the day he gets lucky? (Of course not.)

Another Pokeball for the pile. He had to wonder if his Greninja was finding these around the Clamperls, or if his Greninja was just prying them open to loot whatever was inside them.

Hopefully, his Greninja was at least being gentle. He didn't want to have to deal with angry Clamperls when this was over.
