Here, a large conference room has been emptied for use in the high offices of the Rocket headquarters.[break][break]

The invisible pressure of the ocean surrounding the submarine appears to push upon the corners of this dimly lit room, where a round U-shaped meeting table serves as the focal point: designed to allow for any who wish to speak to stand at its centre, in full view of all participants.[break][break]

Chairs of equal height ring around the conference table, lacking any suggestion of hierarchy in their arrangement. The implication of their organization is simple. All voices here hold equal weight.[break][break]

Those who have been summoned stand at the highest level of Rocket leadership, save for , who shall not attend. It is, after all, too dangerous to gather so many people of import in one place.[break][break]

Given the busy schedule of those gathered, however, it is inevitable that some others among those invited may be occupied elsewhere. Those who cannot attend will find themselves recipients of the meeting minutes, distributed by the Cutiefly network of Admin .[break][break]

Awaiting at the centre of the room stands a tall blonde woman, Admin . "Welcome," she says as others arrive. "Please take your seat. We will begin the dissemination of information shortly."[break][break]

Behind her, a Misdreavus giggles faintly, phasing in and out of a screen available for any who might wish for future visual demonstration as the meeting demands. A tablet has been prepared in front of each seat, one for each attendee.

An Unown levitates by the side of the Underboss when he enters the room, watching all those who might already be present. Its expression is as unreadable as that of its avatar; not a sound leaving either of them despite the polite bow of the head with which Mars greets Admin and the rest.

Calm as ever, he takes a seat, clad in a dark suit which seems to perfectly match the colour scheme of the symbol. An Unown-?. The same one that had accompanied him to the heights of Mount Pyre on November 18th.

”Thank you, Admin Fiorelli.” He finally speaks shortly after Elisabeth’s introduction, yet there isn’t even a hint of a smile. ”I believe I forwarded my report on Mount Pyre to everyone here some time ago, but I would be glad to answer any questions anyone might have for me.”

"Elisa. Good to see you." Barnaby greeted with a smile and a casual dip of his head upon entering the conference room.

Ever-punctual, Barnaby was one of the first attendees to arrive besides herself and . He barely paused to take in the space before veering to a cart near the door. On it was an assortment of refreshments, though Barnaby opted to grab a simple bottle of water before choosing his seat.

Turning, there was barely any need to consider his options; he obviously took the chair to 's right side. Once settled into his seat, he'd slide one of the nearby tablets closer to his side of the table and open Mars' report.

"Thorough as always, Martín." The ROCKET admin commended, although his eyes remained fixed on the tablet screen for now.

Zev entered the conference room without any pomp or fanfare, a silent stalker as befitting his occupation. He was dressed in his usual black suit, black tie, black gloves. Without a word, he took a chair at 's side, leaving the other seat beside her open for .[break][break]

In Zev's shadow lurked his Gengar, the Ghost-type Pokémon's red eyes and toothy grin visible to anyone who bothered to look.[break][break]

The tablet in front of Zev lit up with 's situation report on the Mt. Pyre operation, which the Beast had already read. He glanced up from it as introduced him and gave a slight nod back in acknowledgement.[break][break]

"Not only have we located the energy source, but as far as our intel is concerned, we have the only means of accessing it right now," Zev added.[break][break]

The shard of primal crystal he'd obtained from Littleroot Town was in storage at the moment. With a few taps on the tablet in front of him, however, he brought up several photographs and diagrams of the shard. These popped up on everyone else's devices and also projected onto the large screen hung upon one wall of the room.

Being called to join Rocket leadership was bizarre for her. Nearly thirty years of her life had been spent with Rocket, yet she had never actually anticipated rising in it. She felt like a grizzled old fighting dog, the only thing keeping her from sinking her teeth into everything around her being a heavy, rusted chain and years of conditioning. Not exactly an example of the leadership qualities that Rocket probably desired in its upper echelon.

Not that she was about to complain or object, this was (admittedly) a goal she’d had her eyes on even if she wouldn’t admit to desiring anything more than food and shelter like any good fighter would. had big plans and it was in her best interest to make sure they came to fruition. There was no better place to do that than as a beast. Now, at least might quit acting like he could boss her around, which was no small relief.

Her experience of Mt. Pyre had been brutal — getting caught in the crossfire of a legendary, feeling her body get ripped apart, and then the ethereal experience of waking back on the primal point and returning to a lifeless cadaver. Sometimes, she still felt hollow. A dry-rot taste in the back of her throat. But hell, she was alive so maybe she shouldn’t complain.

“Thank you, sir.” She offered a quick nod as introduced them and offered his own acknowledgement. Then, slipped silently into the open seat beside . Admittedly, she was curious about what had happened in the other locations, though figured they were of equal chaos.

Fern was neither earlier, nor late. Arriving right in the middle of the pack with his dragapult hovering along on his heels, shortly behind . Who, by the way, he was very proud of for her own rank elevation. And would never do something like leverage his own power to boss her around…maybe. In all sincerity, though, it was a bit boggling for them both to be there now, and as he settled in a seat between her and , he leaned toward Marza and nudged her with an elbow.[break][break]

“Look at us, huh Marzy?” he cajoled, cracking a lopsided grin at her before sitting up straighter in his seat again once the proceedings started to roll out with steadier pace.[break][break]

Oscar's entrance was middling. He had slipped in, given nods of greeting to (who was kind enough to invite him), and silently took his seat. In his own black/red suit the beast might have blended into the shadows of the room, if not for his inconveniently bright pale complexion. He was about as stealthy as a shooting star. 

He wished he was in a better mood to be social, but Oscar was all business today. This meeting was like a gift exchange, but the gifts were intelligence briefings. Delicious intelligence briefings that would be very valuable in Oscar's current projects. He had information of his own to share of course, never come to the potluck empty handed and all that, but with all of the other Menteno accounts most of his tidbits may be redundant. Time would tell. 

Congratulations were passed onto and as well as , , and : Rocket's newest admins and beasts respectively. Oscar clapped to their success, his expression beaming at the mention of Mint's name. That's right, he was proud of the little shit.

What are you gonna do about it? However, Oscar's good spirits were visible drained as he realized that would not be attending. I mean--it was not as if Oscar cared. He did not even know Mister Walsh, he was just cool to look at. The meeting would be great with or without him it made no difference to Oscar! Shut up!

Anyway, at the mention of the energy source Oscar straightened up and raises his hand. "I'd like to inquire more about the energy source. Has anyone had the chance to study it yet?"

Mint has not been one to expect promotion. But he'd also been surprised about SPECTRA and Cerberus. He walks in and frankly, seeks out faces he know. He locks eyes with first, then . Then back at , less anxious and more excited. Good for him. Fortunately he's not the only new hire today. He sat himself next to Theo, intent on passing him another report after the meeting anyway. A colorful Zigzagoon trails after him, more here to be moral support than anything else. The second Mint sat down, Zabaglione would pounce on his lap, and poke a head over the table like a true gentleman. [break][break]

The meeting starts and he's snapped to attention, hands on the little tablet in front of him. He gave a small nod as the Underboss introduced him, standing momentarily before taking his seat again. He just wants to get to his brief. That'd at least make him feel a bit more competent than he felt. Then again, is people as capable as those two had confidence in him taking over the job then so be it. He better act like he was, if only to not embarrass the men vouching for him. [break][break]

"I thank you for your trust and I take over this position, and will continue my work to prove it was not wasted." he said, standing up. He looked to his fellow beasts, something he never thought he'd be saying. "I look forward to the privilege of working with you all." he continued looking mainly to the new hires, and . His eyes slid to before he corrected coyly, "Ten. Which is more than sufficient to begin challenging and tracking the battle patterns of the E4 as well as the avatars amongst their ranks. Cerberus is currently focused on , however, I will be able to collect more data on other avatars for SPECTRA's use." As if fighting Theo and Jayden wasn't hard enough. "I will continue avatar research through the gym challenge, and allow Rocket a closer eye on their fighting elite." [break][break]

"Rocket's success on the meteor, and the intel gained I credit mainly the scientists under 's charge. , , and were pivotal while the rest of Rocket acted as defense." he said trailing off. He would let the science department handle the rest. [break][break]

Bureaucracy runs deep within any organization. Rocket was no different in that way, bounded by the same thick layers of red tape ANVIL had been. This meeting was another example of that; an opportunity to parade information that could've been transferred via email.

Dark, heavy eyes adorned the admin's dull expression. It had been a particularly rough week, pulling all the strings together for his personal endeavors, while also cleaning up the mess left behind by his trip to the Mecha Kingdom with . Alas, he still spared some time to attend, if not for Rocket then for the one behind it all.

"Admin Fiorelli."

Despite the frost that nipped his words, his intentions were pure. Concealment for the words of praise he actually wanted to display. Unfortunately, she'd have to settle with a short nod.

Moving further into the room, he greeted each pair of eyes with another firm nod of acknowledgment, hovering over the longest. It was the same man from TOP.

He settled between and (in an emptied seat he was surprised to see left open) and adjusted to press his back against the cool metal seat.

"Admin Cross."

As the conversation unraveled, his eyes would shift from person to person, following along the line of dialogue created.

"Congratulations on everyone's promotion," His gaze flicked to and , "You've earned your spot. All you have to do is keep them."

Rather than report his findings with SPECTRA or his upcoming project with , the admin kept to himself, allowing everything to naturally develop on its own. There was so much noise that he'd rather let the moderate settle it before opening up himself if it was even necessary to do so.

uncertainty fills priam with dread, not because of insecurity of being invited to the league of rocket's bigshots, but because of internal conflict. he did wish for recognition, and he got what he wanted, and so confusion remains as he finds himself on his seat.

the implosion of information reminds him of the last rocket meeting, namely the one held before they made their move on various locations where primal points are held. he had various reasons to teeter on the edge of the promotion offer held out for him, and this was one of them.

the invitation from was welcome, but it feels like there's no room for small talk amid the heavy discussion.

was the dissemination of information going to be held as soon as they took their seats? priam wasn't sure, but he doesn't mind if he didn't get the memo. listening was a good enough part for him to partake in anyways.

that, coupled with other things stirring in his mind, leads to a more quiet priam. then again, there wasn't much for him to say.

Bryan keeps his arms crossed the entire time and slumped back in his chair, his expression conveying annoyance with what was going on around him. He was happy with the promotions going on as some people he felt like deserved it. [break][break]

But was there really such a reason to celebrate when they got their ass handed to them and they knew rocket had snakes? [break][break]

However it was not his place to comment on such things as he was just a beast, someone meant to keep others in line and be strong enough to smash stuff. He grumbles to himself slightly that all of a sudden he had new people to start hunting down, and . [break][break]

His arms leave his chest as he leans forward in his chair a bit to hide his arm, his hand snakes it's way over to 's leg to give it a slight squeeze to reaffirm him it was alright. He was there to support and defend him if needed. "Seems like I have work to do then." he comments after mentions Cian and Johanna running over to the league's side.
