Why they’re playing this silly game on a rare night that they get jayden cross to themself is beyond them. Still…they can’t help but perk at the route that pops up. Instantly tapping it as their eyes glow with a feline sort of mischief. They temporarily abandon the laundry pile they’d been halfheartedly attempting to fold, and bundle up against the other admin’s side. “Look look. Daddy Walsh decided to show up.”[break][break]

it happens on accident, actually. some notification that she had tried to tap away but ended up clicking. she doesn't like the scarier routes and tends to stay away from them, but the choices at the bottom of the screen give her pause.

He was a shadow, an enigma, rarely accessible to Rockets, let alone the average Hoenn citizen. What was Macro Cosmos playing at?[break][break]
Nomi shook off her unease and read the scenario text. So this was the past, then. And they were in Kanto. A strange, irrational thrill traveled through Nomi - would the Kanto Rocket science department make an appearance? Dare she hope...information on her parents...[break][break]

Playing a dating sim sounded like it was a fun way to pass the time. How he managed to end up in this route was beyond him but meeting someone who kind of gave off a...foreboding vibe was kind of exciting. This was a man he knew that he would probably need to tiptoe around if he ever met in real life. Actually he'd probably do something completely different if they met in real life. For now, he was just playing along.

Elinor found herself once more in the comfortable chair in her living room game system in hand, a piping hot cup of tea on the table, and the sound of ‘Hoenn’s Next Masterchef’ playing in the background made for some real proper quality time.

Elinor had eyed this Route for a hot minute now, and finally she decided to join it. If the game data was anything to go by, perhaps she could learn a thing or two about this Walsh guy.

'Well, this isn't concerning at all.' Elio thought sarcastically as he stared at the new route. None other than the big man himself, Declan Walsh. And throwing them right into the events of Celadon City?

Well, shit.

How much did Macro Cosmos have on not only this event, but on Team Rocket altogether? Well, there was only one way to find out...

Truthfully, Elio was but a young grunt during this time and was not a part of the operation, so he had no personal recollections of this event. However, he did hear about it.

Elio noticed that he was being put in the shoes of a Grunt for this event and thought of how he would've thought back then if he was there... So, the obvious option was choice 3: [Reconnaissance for the glory of Team Rocket!].

To say Calpurnia almost broke her screen when this route appeared would be an understatement. An admirer of all things aesthetic and powerful, she held quite an--ahem--appreciation for Admin Walsh.

Reclining on a designer couch, its arms covered in plastic, the woman takes a drink from her fluted glass. How dare he call her a grunt like that! Uggggh.

The man had no right to be this attractive.

Yeah, this was about what Ruby expected for a freaking Declan Walsh route. She still couldn't believe Macro Cosmos had made this, though. Did they want to have Rocket kicking down their doorstep or something? The only relief was that it wasn't some flowery romance scenario. Not like the Kanto takeover was "better," per se, but it was way more fitting.

[break][break]She'd only clicked this one out of morbid curiosity, but maybe she could get some info while she was here. If Macro Cosmos knew anything about Rocket's current goings-on, Walsh would definitely want to know.
