When Alec clicked on this route, he wasn't expecting what he had just read. Alec's facial expression filled with demonic rage to the point where Kaminari, his Pikachu who was sitting on his shoulder, thought the dragon tamer would crush his phone with his bare hands right then and there ...

However, ... he surprisingly calmed down. Perhaps playing along with this will let me know some secrets about what Team Rocket is up to... The dragon tamer thought to himself, immediately choosing the last option. Surely that or the first option would butter him up right?

So this was the boss of Rocket - although, the route did not appear to be set during now or the potential future. Instead, it was during a darker time - the take-over of Kanto. Makoto could not deny that the image on the screen before them cut an imposing presence; anyone could tell at a glance that this was a man who demanded attention and respect - or fear - alike.

And well, in this route, they were but a grunt. Not too different from now, really - but the scenario was all the more dangerous. Keen on not getting on the man's bad side, they'd select Reconnaissance for the glory of Team Rocket!.

So now she was meant to be a lowly Rocket grunt? Skyler huffs, kicking back in frustration.

A scowl is aimed down at the cracked facade on her screen, one she'd seen up close just the once. At least, she thinks, Walsh wasn't pretending to be her husband this time around. One Angelo was enough for the entire region, thank you very much.

In a way, it was all too accurate of a statement. However, it wasn't reconaissance for Rocket's glory. Rather, it wss about Rocket's glory.[break][break]

This was the man that Rocket had gone to space, invaded different dimensions, and flew the bloody banner of war for. This was the man who commanded respect from even men as powerful as Gavin. This was the man that had the lone power to burn this region to a cinder.[break][break]

Maybe if he played along, he'd understand what everyone he knew and loved saw in him.[break][break]

And if he didn't, maybe Macro Cosmos could help him understand some other things along the way.

[attr="class","aurelie_body"]First a Dahlia Goode route, and now a Declan Walsh route? Well, Aurelie was definitely intrigued, if a little more uneasy about the idea of befriending or romancing Walsh. Which is weird, considering he's Rocket and she's not, she reflected. But then they'd probably both execute me by firing squad if they caught me doing something they disapproved of.

Still, the red-haired smith knew so little of either leader that she was perfectly happy to play both of their routes, in the far-fetched hope of learning more about them. If these dating sim games were truly so eerily accurate about their subjects and players, maybe she could get more insight into the ruthless, mysterious Rocket Boss. She'd certainly welcome knowing even a little more about him.

Who knows, maybe he'll turn out surprisingly endearing and relatable too, she thought wryly. But somehow, she doubted it would happen.

However, Aurelie had to admit that it was a lot easier getting into the mindset of a nervous, tongue-tied grunt being scolded by Walsh than it was to think of herself as an eager young assistant to Dahlia Goode. If she ever met Walsh directly, it'd probably happen during a chaotic raid. And she probably would fall over and stammer awkwardly, utterly failing to make a good impression on him.

So, how would Aurelie respond if he were demanding to know what she was doing? She'd probably try to explain herself, but in as few words as possible. And hope he didn't want to bother staying annoyed at her for too long.

I just tripped. Silly me...!

THE PAST IS IN THE PAST. fernando has long compartmentalized his role in kanto’s undoing. bringing it up now does nothing for him. guilt, like any other weapon, rusts in due time.

only a few are presented at such short notice. a typical day in silph co. labs becomes unhinged as schedules revolve around new routes. works comes to a grinding halt as the sound of the game fills a once silent room.
