Presumably, they've snuck in by traversing through terastal caverns, eventually discovering an opening into the Cave of Origin before sprawling out into the city. These Arbok are hungry. Hostile. These serpentine assailants also sport TOXIC CHAINS.[break][break]

With no hesitation, they swallow trainers and Pokemon whole, their vague forms wriggling within their stomachs.[break][break]

Brave the Arboks' terrifying hoods, free those writhing within their guts, and fight back against the ophidian occupation.

Alarms blare throughout the city as Sootopolis goes on the defensive. Cillian, for once enjoying a dreamless sleep, is rudely awoken to the siren song of danger, stumbling out of bed before he's truly allowed to process what's going on.[break][break]

He's pulled a shirt on before he's even blinked the sleep from his eyes, grabbing his pokeball belt on the way out the door.[break][break]

The sickness in his stomach doesn't matter. The bags beneath his eyes do not matter. All that matters is Rocket, and keeping them safe. Beside him, his Lycanroc howls in challenge, burying an Arbok beneath a ROCK SLIDE.[break][break]

Not even the urge to vomit can extinguish the scientific rush upon realising that the corruption of the TOXIC CHAINS remind him of his own SHADOW POKEMON.

Tempest stares down at the overstuffed form of a pleased Arbok. It's belly is bulging in ways he has only seen in the darkest corners online.[break][break]

He holds back a gag when it lets out a muffled cry- human.[break][break]

"I fucking hate this. I hate everything. If someone named Shiv did this Vore scenario, I hate him too."[break][break]

Tempest muttered to himself in his feverish haze. Calling out Marina, he had the Sharpedo use an Ice Fang to flinch and freeze the Arbok before he pulled out his knife. With another gag, he sunk it into the pokemon's belly to try and slice it open- and free whoever was unlucky enough to be inside.

The underboss's phone was cut with the sounds of screaming from Howard Slayte. After a few moments, the line went dead as an Arbok chewed through the wired phone. All Howard could do was scream in terror as an Arbok chased him around his office. Funeral urns were toppled and shattered by the corrupted snake as he scrambled out of his door.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ONNNNNNN...!" Howard screamed as he reached for his Pokeball. The Arbok behind him opened its mouth, revealing a violet purple maw that was filled with shredded paper.

His ledgers. Shit. BARNABY FINCH was going to kill him.

"Get 'em!" The admin's sentient pile of rocks threw the fragments of the various funeral urns and destroyed fossils at the Arbok in a poor man's version of Rock Slide. It sufficed, causing the Arbok to flinch.

What a fucking headache. How the hell did these bastard snakes get into Team Rocket Headquarters, of all places? That can't just be a coincidence. This has to be a deliberate attack by the Megalopolans. Can you use this to your advantage? Maybe if you find the way that they snuck in, you can follow it back to the source? Or maybe--

An Arbok bursts out from a duct above your head, fangs bared to stab into your neck.

"The serpent slithers,
and yet the owl soars higher,

his three arrows loosed."

With that haiku, three razor-sharp leaves pierce scales and sink into flesh, leaving the Arbok writhing in agony. Your Hisuian Decidueye doesn't hesitate to take advantage of the flinch, and a set of talons fall to crush the Toxic Chain.

That was close. Too close. You need to pay more attention. You can't let yourself get infected. If you do... No. You can't. You won't. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever.

Now, time to drive these snakes out of Sootopolis.

The last thing that Makoto wanted, was to find a snake on their apartment doorstep one morning. The vicious Arbok opens its maw wide, intent on preying upon Makoto - and the thief initially is much to startled to react...

... However, a Fake Out from Suede is enough to interrupt the poison-type's attack, the feline hissing with alarm, tail puffed, as he swipes at the Arbok with his claws!

With the cobra flinching back, it's enough time for Makoto to slam the door closed once more before it tries to attack again. Dear Arceus, it's time that they invested in a door camera or something..!

"Headbutt now!" Neon ordered sending off his zigzagoon. The pack spreads out, unlikely rats chasing their snake like prey. He sits on the cave of origin moving in quocjly after he got the alert. How the fuck has they managed into the cave ubseen?

Regardless, he'd do his duty as Beast and help route them out. Arbok hiss and snarl as his loud little dogs but theor apeed is too much, as one after another zigzagoon smash straight into Arbok teeth and toxic chain.

The Metagross repelled the Arbok with a Zen Headbutt. The Arbok flinched from the attack, giving breathing room to Andrew.

So, during a rare break in her metalworking, the red-haired smith ventured out with her Bisharp, trusting in Marceline's keenly honed blades to slice up the insidious invasion of Arboks. Whenever they saw one, the Bisharp reacted even faster than Aurelie did, moving with deadly speed and inflicting her IRON HEAD on the hapless serpent Pokemon. Alarms blared throughout the city, making her aware that there were even more out there that needed fending off.

Where are you coming from? she wondered, as her Bisharp dispatched yet another Arbok. Why are there so many of you? How are you all over Hoenn like this? And how...how can we get rid of all these damned TOXIC CHAINS?

This isn't her home and she was glad of it for once. Nenet could see one of the other Rocket grunts there, and then they weren't, swallowed whole by one of the toxin-possessed Arboks. At her side Skeledirge's flames hissed and popped as he squared up for a battle.

Starting off with a Snarl, Skeledirge barrels forwards towards the very full Arbok and unleashes a Hyper Voice. Through some combination of events the next moment both Nenet and Skeledirge watch with a mild horror as the once swallowed Rocket grunt expelled, leaving them having and gagging on the ground.

Tempted for a brief moment to leave them, instead Nenet darts forwards to drag them to their feet as Skeledirge chases after the Arbok.

Ugh. Their clothes and skin soaked with stomach acid, Nenet quickly release them. Gross.
