A Tera Shard washed up near Andrew. Upon seeing it, Andrew quickly went to pocket it. Though he lacked a Tera Orb, he knew the value of the shards.

Meanwhile, the Rotom continued to film the battle. The spectacle continued to draw in viewers. There were even donations coming in to comment on the insane situation.

The Calyrex follows the ambassador around Slateport Beach and there was the ocean in view. Letting the Palafin outside of her Dusk Ball, the ambassador unfolds her beach chair and the other one for Charles in taking a seat near the umbrella. Elise would not be affected much by the heat and she instructs her Palafin to get one of the Clamperl to her. [break][break]

When Penthesilea comes back with a Clamperl, the clam Pokemon is pushed onto the shore and Elise takes the Clamperl to show her Calyrex shard [break][break]

The kid beside them raced out of the water. In his hands was a Clamperl, which he held overhead victoriously. His whoops grated on Clover's nerves. If she couldn't secure a Clamperl, she was going to create a whirlpool with her pokemon to chase everyone out of the beach. This was becoming a huge joke... and a huge source of frustration. How hard was it to find a Clamperl? But now, her pride was involved. She couldn't quit.

Due to an excessive line and waiting time at the Mantine rental service, Petra decides to forego surfing until later in the day this time. Too many "tryhards", all chasing some kind of status for hitting the most moves before the beachgoing season came to a close.
