she held no bias toward canine pokemon; though the creatures always caused distant memories of kyle lopez to stir in abundance. the man held a natural inclination toward the creatures, possessing no less than six mightyena. but she supposed she owned a ridiculous amount of felines in turn -

the woman scowled a little at the nickname, though it inevitably transitioned into a small and barely perceptible smile as she eyed the pack. with a capsule in hand, she'd mimic the others who tossed their pokeballs into the fray. she already possessed two growlithe - but it couldn't hurt to try for another.

It's a rare occurrence for Fernando's Urshifu to leave its roost back at Silph Co. Its job as one of his security details for the lower floors proves too important for him to let it do much else, regardless of how much work it actually puts in. Being able to boast that one of the Tower of Strength cubs is set to address any matters on Silph property is one of the perks used for advertising the rare opportunities at Silph Co.

Today, he brings it out because he wants to see it in action. Considering the lack of issues or troubles at Silph Co. allowing the Pokemon to become rusty and complacent proves all too real. That's why he drags it out to the field to attend to the Pokemon at hand.

Valerio doesn't have and doesn't know anything about dogs, but when they come running up and about the woods just outside Littleroot, he realizes it may be the perfect opportunity to have some.

“OFFICER JENNY! Do they like to eat berries?”

Perhaps, the officer does not also know what to reply. She is just assigned to keep them off the tracks for the pedestrian's safety and is not an expert of pokemon wildlife. If the league really wanted to drive them off, they should have considered calling the rangers in the first place.

The redhead must have thought their diets are like drampas'. Having two of them, he has been stocking a lot recently of berries harvested by Route 103 and decides to bait the dogs with it just to see if they will be interested.

Izumi knew that Josh had one of these Pokémon—an extremely friendly Arcanine named Buddy. Or was it Max? Seriously, with so many canid Pokémon that her husband owned, it was inevitable that she would get their names mixed up from time to time.

One of those was the fact that Houndoom were normally known to not be friendly, however seeing as Max (or was it Buddy? Honestly she got those two mixed up a lot) was definitely not the standard kind of Houndoom, well, she found the relationship between the two really hilarious to watch.

A hellhound, getting along with a human, when their species are normally feared? Inconceivable.

And then there was the matter of his Arcanine, always wanting walks every single time they were leaving their residence. Like, couldn’t the Arcanine catch a break?

Well, maybe that was because of their instincts—like police canines highly trained to respond to a myriad scenarios.

Kind of like how the local officers (who for some reason all looked the same, what the hell) tended to favor the Growlithe line due to their undying loyalty.

Well, she’d want to have one for her own, but considering as she already had quite a lot of Fire-types… who knows?

Noelani blinked and looked around the clearing he had been training his pokemon in. It had been just him and his team until a few moments ago. Now it was packed with Growlithe and a few Arcanine. He was pretty sure there wasn’t supposed to be any here on route 101 but well he had been seeing a lot of weird stuff lately so maybe he should chalk it up to that.

Thankfully for his health none of the Arcanine had taken an offense to him so that meant he was in the clear. Sadly, that didn’t mean he avoided getting mauled though in this case it was more of getting run over and swarmed by overexcited puppies that were the young Growlithe.

Form the pile he was under Noelani extended a hand towards his team mouthing “Help” yet none came as they enjoyed his suffering. Then the puppies started rolling taking him with them and as he joined the rolling a pokeball slipped out of his pocket.

Skyler liked dogs. The particular group that was playing in a clearing ahead of her reminded her of her own: Nugget the Boltund and Woofer the Stoutland - though any one of these Growlithe and Arcanine was far more elegant than either of her canines. Nugget, despite having evolved, was still a puppy and prone to stumbling over his own gangly limbs. Woofer, on the other hand, was a massive (and heavy) powerhouse. And also a great cuddling partner.

There was also Reg, though the Arcanine wasn't hers. She liked to bury her hands in his fur, seizing the chance to scratch that particular spot behind his ears she knew he liked.

Maybe that was why she found herself holding a pokéball in her hands, unthinkingly lobbing it at one of the majestic creatures playing around in the woods.

He couldn't believe his luck, a whole swarm of Arcanines. Cogimo will be honest, he has always been a bit jealous of the one his mother had, as well as, whenever he saw one of the police pokemon. They were hard to find, coveted really. Though, most fire pokemon were. Now, while hiding behind a bush, he was trying to make as little of sound, as possible. The last thing the boy needed was for the pokemon to run away, or even worse, attack him. The youngest Shimaru realized only now that all of his pokemon were vulnerable against fire. Boink in particular. He waited, you can say almost stalled his time, till the student could stand the stress anymore and just threw his Pokeball, praying. To whom...He will figure that out afterward.

It made sense in a way. It really did. Growlithe and Arcanine are typically loyal to a fault. It would go against their species nature to not be. In fact, the scarred man had three of that species himself. Two arcanine and one growlithe. All of them, loyal to a fault. Evo, however, was much more aggressive than the average canine. Not to just people, but to pokemon as well. It was a very strange behavior for that kind. But in truth, the man got the creature through trade so he had no idea what his former life was. Was his his pass life that has made him so vicious or was that why they were trying to get rid of him?

While Evo was on that side, his other two were different. Shiloh was sweet and Kona, he was a ball of energy. But, loyal to a fault. So yes, it made sense why the officers typically used growlithe and arcanine as their company. He seemed a woman by the name of ‘Officer Jenny’ the other day, patrolling his City on the look out for suspicious activity, with one. Even now as the man silently watched the pack of fire type canine’s play and mingle amongst each other, he couldn’t help but feel as though a well traded houndour or houndoom could work as well. Yes, they would need more training than the average growlithe or arcanine. But they too, are loyal. The man sighed, both debating if he should try to capture the oddly colored one or not and lost within his own thoughts.

This is one race that Angelo knows he has no hopes of winning and one that he doesn’t mind losing. [break][break]

Multiple orange shapes of varying sizes thunder past him, barks and pants filling the air as Angelo peddles within the midst of the fire canine pack. Regulus, his own Arcanine, had been quick to join in the playful race that had kicked off as soon as the courier had cycled past the Route 101 woodland – the family of wild pokemon seeming to take great interest and competitive joy in having something with wheels to charge after. [break][break]

It’s great fun, even though they toy with him badly by purposefully pulling back before charging froward; taunting him with barks and the occasional nip towards his back wheel for him to peddle faster. (Angelo had almost paled as a Growlithe dared to try and take a real nibble but thankfully Regulus was quick to nudge the puppy away.) [break][break]

There’s an Arcanine that Regulus almost trips over a bush for, too busy staring at the other of his species with his tongue lolling excitedly and Angelo figures why not; throwing a pokeball.

“Oh!” Michi exclaimed, enchanted by the sight.

She’d come out here to water her and Zac’s berry garden out on Route 101. Ever since Poturtle had evolved, Michi hadn’t been too worried about wild Pokemon stealing their berries or trampling their plants— the Torterra was enough to ward most creatures with any sense off, even if she did tend to wander on sunny days. Michi had assumed she’d see some wild Pokemon today, but she hadn’t expected the adorable Growlithe and Arcanine gamboling about the flower beds.

Glad she hadn’t brought her dog, who would almost certainly have disturbed the fluffy creatures, Michi hurried up the side of Poturtle’s earth-domed shell and sat down against one of her jutting, pointed stones, watching the beautiful dog Pokemon in the distance. When she was a child, seeing Arcanine so close to Petalburg would have been impossible— now, she could enjoy the remarkable view from the back of her own Pokemon.

Michi often went to the dog park to watch other dogs play. There was something beautiful and unique about seeing them in the wild, however; free and untamed. It reminded her how amazing nature really was.

...But they were far too big to live in her house!

After knowing kyle for a lengthy period of time the young mans love of canines had started to develop. So much so that he would often ask the officer Jenny to pet their growlithe whenever he came across them in his travels.

Morgan had been looking for a growlithe for the longest of time however much to his own dismay he had not found one yet. With the large swarm of growlithes and even a few Arcanines the young man hoped that he would be able to finally get his own dog pokemon.

With it being a good day out, and Razz still needing to find ways to fill his time the young man thought that hey walking some of his pokemon. He was sure they would enjoy the activity. With a few of his more well behaved canine out Razz was walking along the route studyign the way they moved to see the best way they could be used for later. Barking caught his attention as well as the whistles as they had come across a group of officers attempting to catch what he could only guess was their first growlth. [break][break]

Razz just groans as while he knows that the pup is suppose to be great for helping solve crime, but Razz still disliked them. The whole fire type thing being a problem. As one of the growlithe was escaping from one of the officers Razz figured he may help out. He takes out a pokeball as tosses it, not to capture, but more to get the dogs attention and have it go back toward the officer. [break][break]

Mistakes may happen though as he was a terrible shot. [break][break]

There is nothing more heartwarming than a herd of growlithe playing together. Except perhaps the sight of these puppies bonding with a human! It is a well known fact of nature that all growlithe are naturally drawn to police officers, so when a blue haired police woman approached the frolicking litter you can be sure that they were quick to trust her.

They ran up with bright eyes and wide smiles, pressing their paws to her legs to beg for affection. Yet they would soon find this policewoman to not be the trustworthy authority figure they were raised to know and love! The woman would gently pick up a growlithe, before maniacally cackling with a man's voice. With the puppy stuffed under their arm, the officer threw off her disguise!

It was none other than that dastardly Oscar Clayton, who had tricked the growlithe with a clever ruse. The puppies scattered, and the growlithe under his arm struggled to break free of his grip. Alas the cruel Rocket's grasp was stronger, and it was helpless as he pulled out a pokeball and tapped the dog's head.

ARCANINE SWARM (BOVINE BLESSINGS)

So many Pokemon. So much barking.

An entire swarm of Arcanines - or so he was told. Hideo knew this Pokemon was popular among police officers - or as the kids at his school called them, “Jennies”. Super-loyal, super-dutiful, super-strong, super-furry; all that you’d want in Pokemon. Who wouldn’t want one?

His Lycanroc, apparently, who was try to drag the boy away by his sleeve. “Don’t worry, Rocky,” the boy reassured his Pokemon, “They won’t replace you. It just never hurts to get more Pokemon, right?”

His Lycanroc remained unconvinced, but wouldn’t obstruct the boy from attempting to catch one.

His arm unobstructed, he finally took out a Pokeball, tossing it into the barkiest swarm he’d encountered (so far).
