Glitch’s Gym is a cavern filled with neon lights and screens built into the walls located deep within Mossdeep City. Lights create an ambience that makes it feel like you should either be in an arcade or some sort of mad scientist’s lab. But the contrast between natural and unnatural gives you an eerie feeling. Probably. A large stage is constructed for the regular gym challenges, made up of large rock pillars injected with bioluminescent algae filled that rushes through it in tubes. Behind the stage room is another area filled to the brim with flood lights. A large body of water sits to one side and what looks to be an excavation zone sits on the other. Dig zones in the walls are cordoned off to give the non-traditional challengers an even better chance at finding fossils. [break][break]


IDENTIFICATION » Anyone and everyone is allowed to challenge this gym with proper identification. [break][break]

CHALLENGE » Choose between a traditional gym battle or from a list of non-traditional options. Waivers must be signed if you choose to take on the non-traditional gym challenge.[break][break]

POKEMON » A list of each Pokemon's ability and moveset must be provided prior to the challenge as the Gym Leader's choice of pokemon will be determined by the list provided.[break][break][break]

GOAL: To teach trainers to work under pressure and still stay calm in the middle of chaos. Keeping a level head is important when working in the field and sometimes you have to have lots of decisions to make. Sometimes those decisions can be life or death depending on how you handle them. These fossils are delicate, just like people’s lives. So take care. Exemplifying this will gain you the Precision Badge from Glitch Maverick.

Non-Traditional Challenges happen in groups of up to eight people where you will bring yourself and up to two Pokemon in to attempt to find, retrieve and restore fossils found within the non-traditional challenge zone behind the arena. There are three areas to search and explore for ancient pokemon remains, the walls, the ground, and the lake. You’ll need to find three pieces regardless of the type of Pokemon fossil you find. Your goal will be to find matching pieces without breaking your own and while protecting them from the gym leader’s pokemon sabotage.

• Rolls will determine how well you do in defending your fossil pieces from the gym leader’s pokemon or various sabotage
• You are allowed to move from place to place within the non-traditional space to try and find fossil pieces
• Having Pokemon that match the theme of ancient Pokemon, ( all fossils, relicanth, tangela, tangrowth, yamna, yanmega, carbink, shellder, cloyster, dreepy, drakloak, dragapult, magikarp, gyarados, meltan, melmetal, baltoy, claydol, growlithe, arcanine, swinub, piloswine, mamoswine, yamask ( both varieties ), cofagrigus, runegiras, impidimp, morgrem, grimmsnarl, timburr, gurdurr, conkeldurr, cufant, copperajah, chewtle, dreadnaw, stonjournour, unknown, rolycoly, carkol, coalossal, spiritomb, roggenrola, boldore, gigalith, lunatone, solrock, minior ) will give you a bonus to ONE roll and ONE roll only.
  
• If you seem to be struggling, Glitch might offer hints and clues towards where you might need to look, but he won’t do so quietly meaning anyone could get there first. It’s up to you to act accordingly.
• Extraordinary performances can award up to two extra gym badges depending on participants behavior. This will be given at the Gym Leader’s discretion.
