Shalin had observed Josh's successful performance of the STARMIE 720 and looked to replicate it. He made the first half of the trick look so easy! Perhaps it was her lack of raw strength that was the issue; the quick twists and flips required beforehand necessitated either a ton of raw muscle power to do it fast enough, or deft enough hands to rapidly manipulate the reins. Shalin's best bet was the latter. She caught what she thought was a large enough wave to execute the twists with enough of a margin of room for error that she wouldn't have to spin the Mantine quite so fast at the end!

Hideo could hear that failed attempt, with some "oooh"s resounding through the crowd. Some people asked if someone should "help that kid", but he could hear people say the clone was able to get back on the Mantine just fine.

They probably didn't even know he was supposed to be blind. But then again, he didn't tell the people running the event he was blind, so his Ditto could get away with sight.

His Ditto would once again attempt a Magikarp Splash, undeterred by its previous failures.

It had been another miserably unlucky day for the ranger and it was starting to really feel not worth to only come out here and find small trinkets from the diving, it was nice and all but failing at everything else was really starting to get to Noah, at this point he would rather spend time locked up in the kitchen helping his family.[break][break]
