Seeing other people gallivanting with their Pokemon makes Cyg think she should have one of her own out. Unfortunately she doesn't trust any of her Water-types further than she could throw them, except Spyri, who didn't really do diving. Still, having the Lapras as a base to return to might not be a bad idea, so she releases him to float handsomely on the surface, before diving off his shell for her next treasure. |

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming...both Kee and Spheal had somehow pissed off a bunch of Huntail and were now chasing him! But they were faster and cut him off. He had Spheal use Powder Snow, which helped crash one into the nearby rocks. He was going to have to make them hurt themselves. After the second one went down, the rest decided it wasn't worth it and moved away. The two injure ones did the same. But it also looked like they knocked something loose too. Compared to the high stakes pressure of Mantine surfing and the occasional embarrassing moment at the dunk tank, Zev found that he actually liked diving for Clamperls. There was a repetitive, meditative quality to it that reminded him of preparing for murder. It wasn't the same, of course; the excitement of picking up some useful object did not nearly match the thrill of ending someone's life. But diving was still enjoyable. |
