It was one of those rare overcast days, which might've sounded like a relieving break from the scorching Hoennian summer except that humidity had turned the air into a muggy soup that stuck to your skin.

Skyler finds sanctuary in the undersaturated shallows, its usual blue washed away by an ashy grey. She could've stayed down there indefinitely, but someone might notice and send a rescue party after her.

Eventually, she comes back to the surface. Refreshing break over.

Keenan was back in the water, but only up to his knees. Watching Lumineon swim around his feet and legs, Kee just kept walking. He even saw a few Pyukumuku, which he helped toss back into the ocean.
