curious pokemon were attracted to the illumina milotic’s glow. a few luvdisc gathered, swimming along beside the glowing river serpent.[break][break]

in the pulsating light it cast across the floor, nina spotted a dive ball and went to retrieve it. it wasn’t the most exciting find, but it would be useful nonetheless. they continued on in search of greater treasure, not tiring yet.[break][break]

The Dynamax Band twinkles. It demands that Eris Halla 's Wooper use its power to ascend to the realm of gods. All the Wooper need do is place the band on its wrist, and absolute power will be its.

Alas, Wooper has no arms. It is too divine to handle such magnitudes of greatness. To grant Nessie with opposible thumbs is as impudent as Prometheus gifting fire to man despise the denial of the gods.

Yet the chomp continues. The Dynamax Band reacts. Dynergy flows through the artifact and into the Wooper.

It can do only one thing:

Hideo clung to his inner tube the moment he heard his Walking Wake emerge from the depths - and his call had been correct. At least time, after it deposited the stone on his lap, he didn't fly off and fall into the water, but it was a struggle to not drop the rock in the process.

He could hear his Starmie make noise again - no doubt yelling at the Walking Wake again. He didn't doubt his Starmie would catch him again if he fell in, but his Walking Wake was proving to be a tough one to train.

But it did produce results, and it was only a matter of time until it found something else.

Aubre came up with a blue shard in her hand. It was covered in seaweed and rendered rough by salt. But it was definitely crystalline.

Though there are indeed Clamperl about down here somewhere, it still comes as a surprise for El when they stumble across one in the waves below. Hello, little guy!

Using one of the pokeballs that they gathered from their dives, they'd throw one at the Clamperl to catch it - eager to have another water-type at their side for future Ranger work.
