And at the DYNA TREE, now halfway claimed by the biting ocean, an electrical storm created by the likes of Yujin Ha's ARCHALUDON and an unwavering RAYQUAZA. Coupled with this surge of energy came a SHADOW BALL from robin coello's JELLICENT, too — all aimed to claim a power they had no right to disrupt. [break][break]

"Waters are rising all throughout Sootopolis," He radioed back to Zev Harcourt, noticing the MUSICAL BARS courtesy of Melody Miro out of the corner of his eye. "Combatants are using this to their advantage. They need to be dealt with, God General."[break][break]

MOLTRES arced wide to reroute toward the great dragon.[break][break]

"I'll focus on Rayquaza."[break][break]

As prismatic stones clashed against reptilian scales, BARNABY FINCH used this distraction to urge his patron on, steadying beside the serpent's neck just long enough for him to try and leap onto it — grabbing hold wherever his hands and body could make purchase.[break][break]

If successful, MOLTRES would depart to rain down its FIERY WRATH on two other nuisances defiling its tree: Yujin Ha's ARCHALUDON and robin coello's JELLICENT.[break][break]

Shadows coalesced around him, shielding him from the roiling wind and spitting rain, sharpening against the tips of his fingers to dig down into godflesh.[break][break]

Explosions, screams of terror and the sounds of battle brew together to create a horrifying concoction that has been spilt all over Sootopolis.[break][break]

After his rescue of Neffatari Nzingha and the close encounter with the Visionary, Naomi Sato, Noel receives the order given to every Ranger by ollie morales to relocate to the Rocket inhabited city. The rescue of civilians is their utmost priority, and any Rocket that got in their way are to be dealt with. The last bit wasn't necessarily an order, but something he told himself.[break][break]

As Noel watches the events prior to his arrival unfold before him, he can only feel a pang of sadness in his heart of how many civilians must have been caught in the crossfire due to Rocket's insatiable desire for destruction. And of this city, which stood so proud once before, now reduced to nothing but a dreadful sight.[break][break]

Entering via ship, he safely manages to make his way into the heart of Sootopolis, past the rampaging Kyogre and turbulent waves. Riding atop his Milotic, the two ride through the risen sea in search of anyone that needs rescuing.[break][break]

While getting anywhere near the monstrous whale while it continued its barrage of storms was a foolish idea, the Cave of Origin laid just beneath it. If anyone was stuck inside, they may have a difficult time attempting to leave. So, while braving the harsh waters, Noel sails forth and sets foot inside the leaking, damp dwelling.[break][break]

Waterlogged corpses are strewn throughout the entrance, poor souls unfortunate enough to be at the epicenter of all this commotion. Was there anyone even left to save?[break][break]

Much to his surprise, there is one sole survivor. And whoever they are, seemed preoccupied with something else entirely. Not only that, an Entei had been accompanying them, although, based on its movements, it seems that it and Noel were of the same mind. Unknown to him, this legendary creature once belonged to the champion, kyle lopez. [break][break]

Before the woman could notice his presence, Noel grabs hold of her arm and yanks her back with a fierce look in his eyes that stared into her own.[break][break]

"Hey! What are you doing? We've got to get you out of here before this place floods. Don't worry, I'm with the League, and you'll be safe I promise, if you come with me."[break][break]

His attention then turns to the hanging, gigantic blue stalactite that eerily radiated an azure hue.[break][break]

Before the GRENINJA leaps to meet them, Remiel Calcifet casts a LIGHTNING STILETTO towards a DYNA TREE branch in the distance. And, when his GARCHOMP is finally SMACKED DOWN, Remiel Calcifet leaps from it to avoid the collateral damage and TELEPORT.[BREAK][BREAK]

The dragon shrieks in free fall, determined to strike the enemy GRENINJA with a BREAKING SWIPE before they make landfall. Meanwhile, in the skies above, the shielded BLACK YIN advances closer to the DYNA TREE himself (C-4).[BREAK][BREAK]

Wearing a black raincoat with an accompanying hood, Niola Winchester can be found clinging to the anchor with both hands, waiting for the smoke to clear before hopping off and quickly assessing her surroundings.[BREAK][BREAK]

"FARICLEUS, I've a feeling we're not in NUVEMA TOWN anymore..." The agent remarks, drawing her gun and cocking it as she stares at the flooding streets below. However, what brings alarm to her calculating eyes is the sight of something large and metallic surfacing from the roiling waves.[break][break]

The voice in her mic exclaims, quickly snapping her out of it just in time to turn and fire her gun. A ROCKET GRUNT collapses as his HOUNDOOM yelps in fear, running away. Others soon come rushing out from the alleyways and buildings, however. More gunshots are fired as her Dhelmise tries to keep their creatures at bay with a swing.[BREAK][BREAK]

"The ROCKET SUBMARINE! It surfaced!" Niola exclaims between gunshots, looking up to see Yujin Ha and Melody Miro on the ridge above her. "FARICLEUS, ANCHOR SHOT IT BEFORE IT DIVES AWAY AGAIN! CALLING ALL NEARBY LEAGUE PERSONNEL! REPEAT, CALLING ALL NEARBY LEAGUE PERSONNEL! WE'VE LOCATED THE ROCKET HQ!"[break][break]

IN SPITE OF THE RISKS, in spite of the perils beckoned by possible perception, annalise henderson's MEW TRANSFORMS. fern delaney's ✨TAPU KOKO and jayden cross's ICE BLADES smash through the protection created by Josh Devlin's SACRED ASH RAIKOU. However, the remaining force is easily dispelled against a MEW that has transformed into a PALKIA itself.[break][break]

The MEW-PALKIA's SPATIAL REND strikes Hitoshi Inoue, Alba Evovae, jayden cross, fern delaney and their Pokemon in plain sight of their comrades, including Makoto Kurumi, Fenelle Miller and Calliope Marks who are nearby. Although the attack is weaker, it is still nothing to be scoffed at.[break][break]

Near the DYNA TREE, freya morningstar's RAYQUAZA is overwhelmed by Rocket's offense. Despite attempts to distract the dragon's attackers, BARNABY FINCH, Aurelie Lefevre, and Zev Harcourt manage to overpower the Sky High Pokemon with their Pokemon and augments. From the shadows on a nearby cliffside, declan walsh emerges with his DARKRAI.[break][break]

"well done." The Boss says of their efforts. "now go to sleep."[break][break]

His DARKRAI raises its arms. A DARK VOID forms and is loosed. The dark, sedating orb crashes onto the RAYQUAZA and forces it to sleep. Suddenly, the dragon crashes against the waters and/or a nearby cliffside (Crow's choice), forcing BARNABY FINCH and Aurelie Lefevre to depart the dragon if they have mounted it. The civilians of Sootopolis watch in awe. This dragon, an object of worship and reverence, has finally graced Sootopolis waters. Sootopolis stone. Weak, the gasping RAYQUAZA lies on the ground...[break][break]

As the DYNA TREE burns, the CALYREX struggles with paxton concordas's MAWILE. The King is able to finally shake the MAWILE off with a bash of its shield. Hissing, the Hare clangs its sword against the shield. A fog emerges around the hovering CALYREX before coalescing into the misty shape of a GLASTRIER wearing the SADDLE Aurelie Lefevre had made. The horse neighs, a haunting echo made by fairytale rather than vocal cords and as the CALYREX turns toward the cliffside where paxton concordas's PORYGON had been recalled to, it raises its hand. Ice forms by its palm and quickly forges itself into a brutal lance of ice. With unrelenting swiftness, the GLACIAL LANCE is launched toward paxton concordas and Oliver Shrakes.[break][break]

As bryan delarosa attempts to swim toward the PETRIFIED XERNEAS, he alongside everyone near the tree, will notice that the DYNA TREE is healing itself. The flames plaguing its leaves are extinguished by a green bloom of INFINITY ENERGY. However, bryan delarosa will notice that the DYNA TREE is SIPHONING INFINITY ENERGY from the PETRIFIED XERNEAS TREE. Unbeknownst to him, declan walsh had ordered Alba Evovae's ETERNAL FLOETTE to connect the two trees in a sacrificial relationship. Should the DYNA TREE be harmed, the PETRIFIED XERNEAS TREE will continually give its life to save it...[break][break]

illeana reyes inverses SPATIAL PROPERTIES in a limited area around her. Thomas Benoit, Cillian Quinn, Rowan Wrynn, Navy, Victoria Beckett, Shred, Aoki Hana, Roy Aker, freya morningstar, ana fell, Montgomery James and Tempest Quinn find that their intended movements go in the opposite direction. Some may find themselves floating as if the gravitation in their field as shifted.[break][break]

Meanwhile, Mitsuru Kagami's DUSCLOPS uses GRAVITY on the BLUE STALACTITE. Combined with the nearby effects of illeana reyes's POWERS, the BLUE STALACTITE finally... breaks off.[break][break]

And like the BLUE STALACTITE, the KYOGRE is able to break free of its beached state. Its deep blue body rises thanks to the spatial interference. In spite of the harm it has incurred, the Leviathan can not be stopped so easily. Not when PRIMAL ENERGY continues to pump through its veins. The KYOGRE's dreadful eye spies the BLUE STALACTITE that lands into Mitsuru Kagami's hands. RAYQUAZA had sensed the BLUE STALACTITE's LOCATION too, before it had struck out of the sky...[break][break]

Before they can warn Mitsuru Kagami, Noel Parker and kyle lopez's ENTEI will witness what everyone else has feared: the KYOGRE's liberation. A gut-wrenching cry announces the Leviathan's resumption of its rampage. It dives toward Mitsuru Kagami and the center of SOOTOPOLIS to chase her. OF GREAT CONSEQUENCE TO EVERYONE, THE SEAWATERS RISE DRAMATICALLY and the STORM INTENSIFIES WITH HEAVIER RAINS AND WHIPPING WINDS.[break][break]

As the KYOGRE rushes into SOOTOPOLIS, a hair-raising blast of PRIMAL ENERGY rushes across the city. It is an unnerving feeling, almost empowering and simultaneously dizzying. MATIAS SILPH would be able to recall the power's temptation offered to him by Elisabeth Fiorelli which had led to kyle lopez's death months ago. The effects are worsened by Zev Harcourt's NECROZMA and its appearance. Ultra Space radiation crackles and tickles the skin like the SPACE-TIME DISTORTIONS Yuina Higashi is able to conjured. Consequently, illeana reyes's INVERTED SPATIAL FIELD subsides as the waters rise closer and closer to the brim of the crater...[break][break]

THIS IS A RAID EVENT where characters post every round, attempting actions and/or responding to prompts or scenarios present within provided MODERATOR POSTS. Oftentimes, characters must make use of the ROLL command, which can determine the success of actions and/or create narrative tension.

This event is "DEATH-ENABLED". However, one should not worry too much about Pokemon or characters dying. Depending on player action, these high stakes can potentially be navigated without loss. greedy fingers sink into the energy pooled between avatar and patron and she screams in horror as rayquaza spasms violently in the air.[break][break]


lyune's wings snap, body jerking upward as their master bellows for help. freya's own claws sink into her scalp to stop herself from splitting apart, grasping desperately at fraying seams. a raw and primal anger sweeps through her like wildfire. her tongue is a tangle of snarls, throat scraping against a language founded in the collapsing cave of her ancestors. [break][break]


the wind howls, drowning her objections as he takes her from ana fell, and darkness swallows them whole.[break][break]


fire tears at her, black and insidious, furrowing cruelly beneath her armor. the silver glow of her sygna suit begins to dull as rayquaza consumes the connection to lyune, twining twin flames to share their pain. their voice burrows through skin and bone until it is thrashing in her skull. color and sound and heat explode as memories knife through her again.

dragonfire slicks down her serpent's green scales, maw contorted in pain and defiance as they race with reckless abandon into the heavens. the wind answers her call and with a sweep of her arms, she conjures a blast of air, wreathed in rayquaza's draconic fire to rip BARNABY FINCH from their back.[break][break]

but as the darkness clears, a shade extends its hand.[break][break]

blue sears her vision - [break][break]

and then they're falling. white foam and brine spray as the sea embraces the ancient serpent; freya pitches sideways, scrabbling for purchase against their rough scales. a viscous copper trickles from her lips as she crawls to the crest of their head. warmth still hums beneath her touch. she presses her brow to their neck and starlit hair drapes over her shoulders, heavy from the rains. the stones wrapped lovingly in her plaits glimmer softly in the storm.[break][break]

"ir namiss," she hisses. i am yours. "ir navnik." and you are mine. "ir sugrart."[break][break]

and we will not let them win this war.[break][break]

while freya kneels in prayer, lyune, her first guardian, raises blood moon wings and stands between his mistress and her enemies.

Oodles of chaos in a hiccuping heartbeat.

Her fist connects, metal solidly thunking against flesh, sad she can’t feel teeth against her knuckles. Zenais, punching in tandem, manages to knuckle-dust a god.

Victory is short-lived because they’re being bum rushed from behind. The Walking Wake hits Zen full in the back and sends her pitching forward; Ana goes flying off her shoulders, tumbling ass over teakettle onto the Shadow Lugia’s broad back. She hits, rolls, then slides down a wing, catching the weird hand-like appendage at the ends of its wings in her left palm to pivot, and dangle.

Zen flinches, body turning to mist as it breaks and wreathes around Lugia, leaving the Walking Wake suspended in the empty.

“I fucking said I’d be right back!” she yells over the din, letting go of Lugia’s wing and falling into the coalescing smoke of her Dusknoir. “Impatient little fucker, aren’t you?”

Something huge slams in the distance; all the air around them begins to hum, like a hole in a vacuum chamber.

Floating there subsumed in her intangible Dusknoir cloud, she looks like a djinni, herself; the trade-off being Zen can’t attack like this. Her attempts at pitching forward towards Rowan Wrynn send her backwards. “Wuh-oh.”

She and Zen flip forwards to go backwards, righting themselves, as the Dusknoir reforms, catching sight of Cillian Quinn plunging towards the water below. From above, they watch Kyogre’s big fucking body rise from where it’s beached, an ominous portent of heavy doom.

The waters are rising. The weird vibrato energy surging through the air cuts, and the not-silence is deafening. freya morningstar’s absence is louder.

“Fuck, where’d she go?!”

Zen points at smoke rising off of a serpentine green form in the near distance.

“Shit. Hold on, boss lady, we’re comin’!”

They bear down on Freya’s location, Zen’s cloud dissipating and flowing back into her Pokeball; Kanaya appears in a burst of pink energy, and as her trainer superhero lands between freya morningstar and any adversaries, her Gardevoir presses careful hands into Rayquaza’s scales, firing off a heartbeat-like series of heal pulses which aim to boost the dragon back into some state of defensive wakefulness.

Servos click and whirr as she stretches out her arm, the shifting cells on the surface of her Sygna Suit morphing from black and yellow to white and green; here amongst the smell of dragon-fire and burning salt, she stands ready to aid the woman who saved her, to avenge all of those before she couldn't protect.
