“Well, I am not in the habit of risking my life for anything less than the cataclysmic ones,” she replied with a bit of a smirk. Still, it was good to see the other in higher spirits. Especially now that they were working together for a bit once more. Hence she had her Frosmoth apply another Tailwind while her Mawile needed to recharge for the time being. It just made sense in her head to always be supportive like this when she had the time and leisure to do so.

Though that was only part of the puzzle. There was always the human element as well – which was at its most vulnerable now as the cracks started to show. A girl – one she did not know, but everyone else seemed to – cried out as her Charizard had its flame all but extinguished by eternal ice. That was probably a death sentence of sorts, unless someone had found a counter measure yet.
Vio would not rule that out, but she was ready to accept loss herself here. Why? Because this was necessary. That was why she was trying to join Spectra, after all. Losses while fighting were necessary to ensure they weren’t all lost.

But only the losses that were truly necessary. While she watched that wailing with a certain amount of dispassionate analysis, when the pinkette tried to do something stupid, Vio could not quite hold herself back. Vio would at least attempt to throw herself at in an attempt to keep her from getting too close to the ice. “Don’t touch that. Getting yourself frozen too is not going to help anyone!” Once more, she felt like she had to do something to help this one get a grip. It probably went for that Yuina, too, but Vio really did not want anyone to be too close to that ice. It all but radiated cold. Trying to push Des away from it was much more important.[break][break]
That being said, her Frosmoth was also hit by whatever it was that was overwhelming Pokemon left and right. But Vio didn’t allow that to get to her right then. It felt like she needed to share some strength, not give in to weakness right then. Hence, she only allowed herself to become a bit emotional, but remain stoic at least to some extent. In her eyes, that was still the quality she needed. “You are right. There has to be some way. But if we want to even get to that point, we need to focus on surviving ourselves and beating that thing back. Once that is done, we are sure to find an answer somehow. But for now we have to fight on,” she further added, hoping that her Mawile would recharge soon enough to fire again, before it too would succumb to the cold.

The comms come on with the voice of the councilwoman praising her for a good job and asking about any Draconid experts. “My older cousin, , is studying on the Draconids on his archaeological research, so we can ask him.” The ambassador responds to on her mic when the attacks kept coming over to the giant glacial dragon. For odd reasons, she thought the beast looked a bit familiar to her elder cousin’s Zekrom. Only that she was sure Remy’s Zekrom didn’t like the other dragon much and wanted to fight it. [break][break]

With the other Pokemon fighting the Kyurem, her Aegislash continues to use King’s Shield to guard them against the little shards of ice from the blizzard. Elise wasn’t sure how long the white furred icy dragon was going to decide to attack, but she’ll have to keep up the defense and hope they wouldn’t get surprise attacked. [break][break]

The power of Councilwoman Livy’s patron, a fiery goldish that Elise hadn’t seen before, made the royal ambassador feel relieved in knowing that they all had the red-headed councilwoman’s help.[break][break]

Despite knowing that those encased in ice were still alive, it was no less horrifying to not only see Artanis, but Desiree's Altaria, become frozen solid. The urgency to fell the Kyurem, and find a way to free the trapped Pokemon, grew greater, with each passing moment.

Thomas sent out his Pangoro, Brutus. The hulking beast attempted to throw a Bullet Punch towards the Kyurem.

With the bombardment of snow and ice, Gunner had no choice but to direct his Hydreigon back onto the ground. [break][break]

They landed awkwardly, too far from the main group led by , , and . Instead, Gunner found himself stumbling off Amhar's back beside a dark-haired Ranger and his Togekiss. [break][break]

"How is the evacuation going? Almost done?" the blonde agent asked , who he'd never met before. A Swinub scurried between Amhar's legs just before the Hydreigon took off to rejoin the fight. [break][break]

As he listened to the stranger's answer, Gunner raised his eyes to follow Amhar's flight. With a roar, he attacked Kyurem with FLASH CANNON. The attack barely went off before the Hydreigon plummeted into a snowdrift, ice encasing his body. [break][break]

"Amhar!" Gunner yelled, alarmed. [break][break]

Despite its firepower the ice overwhelmed the little Rotom and the ghostly toaster found itself stuck in a block of ice. Kaz only cursed himself in his head as it was proof that he let another Pokemon of his down. Yet 's words did give him a little bit of hope. It didn't look like it was frozen just like the ones in the rest of the Silent Icelands. So maybe not all hope was lost.

"Camelot! Let's break down some ice!" Kaz yells out as he sends out a Palossand that rushes off away from their group sending out Earth Power to throw the ice dragon off its feet. With Kaz following it he doesn't realize how far he gets from everyone till he runs across a familiar face, or mask, belonging to one . "You! Dammit, how about another truce to try and fight back this thing?"

As the ice encased his Togekiss, Jack glanced around worriedly. He could hear League chatter on the comms but had been operating away from the main force that was fighting the legendary pokemon. Now that his Togekiss was frozen and the bitter cold was creeping back through the fading safeguard, Jack was torn between joining with the main force for safety or staying to continue evacuating more pokemon. Relief swept through him when Gunner landed nearby, though the icy storm was taking a toll on his Hydreigon.[break][break]

"Evac is getting there, but this there's more pokemon that need help than people to provide it. We need to put an end to this soon," Jack responded tersely, his eyes flickering to the many frozen pokemon still visible through the storm.[break][break]

Jack was going to suggest relocating to rejoin the others when Gunner's pokemon succumbed to the cold as well. Jack quickly released his Delphox from her pokeball, rushing toward the fallen dragon and signaling for her to start a mystical fire to keep the temperature around them up as much as possible.[break][break]

"Don't worry, we'll do our best for Amhar. Just keep fighting!" Jack yelled above the wind, hoping to sound reassuring. Jack didn't really know this man, had never even met this version of him, but remembered fighting beside him at Mount Pyre and enduring that hell together. He wanted to do what he could, even though that seemed like very little in the face of the monstrous Kyurem.

To Sow Dragon's Teeth will have at least two event threads (TO THE LEFT OF WHITE KYUREM & TO THE RIGHT OF WHITE KYUREM) to partake in.[break][break]

TWO CHARACTERS PER PLAYER are allowed to participate. The characters can not participate in the same thread.[break][break]

Prophecies revealed in one thread will be revealed in the other thread and vice-versa.[break][break]

  • There is no posting order or limit to how many posts one can make in a day. However, be conscientious of other player's response times/opportunities to post. However, preserving momentum should take priority. This rule may be adjusted.

Small fingers, cold and shaking, wrapped around a rapidly swelling ankle, the tears streaming down her cheeks freezing as soon as they made contact with the frigid air. And then he was there, and Nomi gazed up at him with wide crimson eyes. Time seemed to stand still. He had water in the palms of his hands - a crystal clear water that made Nomi think of morning dew - and she reached for him, instinctively, oblivious to the fact that Mîr had turned its singular eye in the direction of , as if sensing her red-hot gaze from across the battlefield.[break][break]

Brief moment of internal sass aside, Isaac got it. The last thing wanted to see was him and wrestling around on the floor. In response, all Isaac did was put up his guard in both senses of the word. Proper leg control prevented Parker from just full-on body pressing him and pounding him into nothing, while his raised arms would ensure his own Christmas gifts wouldn't turn his face into a crater.[break][break]

At least, they would have, if didn't fly in out of nowhere with a series of concerningly perfect cane parries. "Holy shit, El," Isaac said as the world around them suddenly became a lot more crystalline. "And holy shit, N- uh, The Visionary." It wasn't like El was in the dark about his Rocket past, but the least he could do was keep Nomi's nose out of danger.[break][break]

Parker's, too, even if she was all too happy to shove his own nose into it. "Well, you heard 'em. Maybe we should chill." Light swirled around Isaac's raised arms, ripples of blue, yellow, and green that streamed away from him like his patron's ribbons. The crystalline safehouse they were sheltered in came to life as his aurora spread, a sight that would be breathtaking in any other circumstance.[break][break]

Even in this circumstance, the aurora would bask their chamber in sensations of calmness, compassion, and courage.[break][break]

Maybe it would settle Parker down in totality. Maybe it would just give Isaac enough time to worm out from under her. In either case, Isaac's first priority would be making sure he was well out of pounding range. From there, he reclined against the crystal, relief and concern fighting for dominance in his eyes.[break][break]

In any case, there wasn't much time to reflect on it, as the Kyurem began to split the earth with its claws. As the fissure began to form, Thomas turned to the others. "Brace yourselves!", he urgently called out to them.

Brutus, like his master, rallied the other Pokemon of the five. The gruff Pangoro called to them to shield their masters from the blizzard, and whatever the Kyurem was about to pull.

In anticipation for the attack, the Pangoro tensed his body. The Bulked Up bear used his body as a shield, in order to protect the humans, hoping the other four would follow his lead.

the flames are such a beautiful sight, he can't help but feel, as he watches his rapidash's FLARE BLITZ take it all the way through the BLIZZARD and back. the fire-type rushes back and forth, doing everything it can but barely making any impact.[break][break]
