PETALBURG CITY IS SUDDENLY OVERRUN BY PHEROMOSA. These ULTRA BEASTS have escaped THE ULTRA DESERT en masse via Petalburg's Primal Rift. Perhaps, their intrusion is due to their victories over the BUZZWOLE colonies within that endless dune.[break][break]

However, these PHEROMOSA have swiftly been overtaken by a mysterious PHEROMONE. The natural pheromone it can produce has now been tainted by the TOXIC CHAINS pulsing around their bodies. Though these Ultra Beasts are able to run at high speeds—the chains slow them some, allowing the outbreak to be contained more easily, should your characters intervene.[break][break]

Throughout the city, gales of PHEROMONES billow—and not all of them come from the PHEROMOSA. Curiously, some come from the skies by a mysterious source.

"Get in there Ditto!" Mint yelled, having heard the call to action over an emergency alert. He'd been at it mid stream, but man if he couldn't avoid participating in this. It'd look bad for him as an E4 challenger hopeful.

His partner, spotting the strange Ultra Beasts, TRANSFORMS quickly to try to combat the beasts with their own attacks. "Lets hope this works! If not, you're up next buddy!" He said to his Rotom.

A PHEROMOSA against a SINISTEA wasn't exactly a fair fight. But Remiel and EARL GREY had been caught off guard while having tea with a colleague in PETALBURG. They had to do what they could to help contain the situation.[break][break]

With the Sinistea being a GENDERLESS Pokemon, it was able to resist the toxic pheromones before charging in with a DRAGON HAMMER. The Pheromosa, shocked to see this attack, hardly attempts to evade before being struck.[break][break]

Another Pheromosa glides in before KICKING the exposed prince aside, however. Infuriated by this, the ILLUMINA Sinistea summons a powerful PSYCHIC force to yank their toxic chains upward before slamming them down.[break][break]

In the meantime, Remiel discovers a BROWN FEATHER on the ground before he starts to pick himself up. GALARIAN ZAPDOS? Determined to find the true source of this plague instead of standing around inspecting it, however, he pockets it before returning to aid his Sinistea in combating the ULTRA BEASTS with lightning bolts.[break][break]

Petalburg city was over run it seemed, a rip in ultra space brought about a swarm of pheromosa that were laying siege to anything that they could get their hands on. It was chaos, controlled by the toxic chains that managed to grab a hold of the ultra beasts that didn't seem to belong of this world. And yet, they were following through with the commands of the chain's influence.[break][break]
Yuina rolled through Petalburg City with Roble the Electrode, trying to discharge electricity at any bug they came across, the wooden ball doing well to avoid the siren song of the pheromones that the Pheromosa swept across the city streets unabashedly to try and sew their control.

June looked down at the scene from the back of Midnight, down at all the thin bugs that wrecked havoc on the city. If it wasn’t so damn awful, it’d be kind of impressive. The way they mowed over the people, destroyed shops, and overall made life so much worse.

“How the hell do you think this happened, Midnight?” The beast groaned, but otherwise remained silent. Their actions were better focused on their sudden dive. The air whipped through her hair and her stomach lurched as they descended straight down.

Their target, a Pheramosa atop a building, didn’t evne see them coming. Nor did it react fast enough (even if it was very close). The vicious rush of their wings obliterated the creature, and they faded into the background. Where the hell did they go? She didn’t know.

But they were getting paid for this. Thankfully. Between this and the giant chasm, it was starting to feel like December again. Minus the trauma that went into that can of worms. But based on how things were going in both of those, she might just get a hatred of things happening in general.

A phrase she never thought she'd think, as the sky enveloped her vision and they rose back into the sky. Back to search for the next prime target; their next victim.

Admin Fox's voice was a cold purr as a massive swarm of frost covered Petalburg City in an eternal sheet of permafrost. Regice was a Pokemon born of eternal winter, and would not fall to mere insects from another world. It was unique, and they were commonplace. The unique would always triumph over the common, just as nobles would always sit above the peasants of the world.

Legendaries trumphed Ultra Beasts, Admins trumped grunts, the Elite Four trumped the average trainer.

Power was the weight of the world.

"This is Admin Fox, Howard spoke into his communicator as Regice annihilated another Pheromosa. "I have arrived."

Grunts followed Regice's sheet of ice and began to dispatch of the frozen Ultra Beasts. Howard yawned to himself as he checked his watch. He was glad that the aliens were here, and not at his and oscar clayton 's farm. He'd rather Petalburg be razed than his pet project. That was heartless, admittedly.

"This work sucks." Howard grumbled as he kicked a piece of ice across the road. "Can't someone else do this?"

Petalburg City has undergone a roach infestation. It was up to Noel and his partner Shaymin to free the city from these gigantic bugs that swarmed the city. Pokemon that the two of them had never seen before, nevertheless, they were wreaking havoc on the town and its citizens and they would put a stop to them.[break][break]

Scurrying across the city, a few manage to make their way to the pair and close in with a Low Kick, aiming to sweep the two off their feet. However Noel Terastallizes his Shaymin to give it an extra boost in power to offset this speed. With the increase in strength, his Shaymin is able to fire off a quick Solar Beam to blow them away. Now all that was left was to control these pests at other sites.

It only seems fitting, using an Ultra Beast to dispose of Ultra Beasts. Not that you're particularly concerned with the symbolism, mind, but Xurkitree is good for the job, and so you're going to use him. Him? Them. They're just a bunch of wires. Not much gender involved there.

Still, feels like a him, y'know? Y'know. Don't ask why, though, because you don't have an answer. But if you were to guess, it was probably because you were born in the eighties. Not a good time for women, that... Then again, was it ever a good time for women? They've got it pretty rough. Still, they get to vote! That's more than you've got these days. Then again, not much worth voting for, is there? Maybe you and women both have it equally as bad.

As you ponder your own biases, one of the infected Pheremosa descends from the sky, trying to nail you with a leaping kick. Unfortunately for them, they quickly fall victim to a Thunderbolt, and hit the ground with a THUMP.

"Heh, dumbfuck."

It's a little rude of you, but to be fair, they WERE being a dumbfuck. As smoke wafts from the crispy body of the bug, you take a step closer and crouch down. Now, time to see if you can't learn anything about this Toxic Chain while they're down and out...

Beau winced as his Porygon2's Tri-Attack nailed a Pheromosa in the chest, sending her toppling backward and the toxic chain around her neck crumbling.

"Geez, brah, good thing you don't have a nose!" he enthused, pumping his fist excitedly. The Porygon2 spun around wildly in strange gyrations, chirping happily, before zooming over to deliver a similar treatment to the next Pheromosa.

Beau winced, sniffing. The air was off, and not just because of the strange pheromones sending the pokemon wild. Something sickly-sweet tickled his nostrils, and he couldn't quite place it. "Mochi...?"

He shook his head, clearing it. No need to be a mochi-dancing zombie from last week when there were dangerous pokemon to put down. He could think about snacks later.

It did not take Josh long to arrive anywhere in Hoenn, what with how fast Tiamat was. The Dragonite was cranky from bring overworked; first Littleroot, then Petalburg. After having helped with the evacuation of the small town, he high-tailed it north to the larger city, seeing it was overrun with the insectile, super fast Ultra Beasts.

This was not good.

Josh flew over the city, dropping Tyrfing into the streets of Petalburg. "TAKE COVER!" the Ranger shouted as the rock-type Paradox Pokémon activated his thrusters to do what the Gym Leader's Pokémon did: go fast. Even with incredible speeds, the Pheromosa were better at cornering, the Iron Boulder losing some ground with every zig and zag. After sending out some more of his Pokémon to guard major intersections, the Terrakion look-alike had them where he wanted them. With a MIGHTY CLEAVE, Tyrfing rent one, then two, then three of the Ultra Beasts in twain. Even with the rock-type rampaging, their numbers were still overwhelming.

Minior spun in place before darting forwards, its brilliant black core spangled with myriad colours interspersed. It narrowly dodges a kick and, using its momentum, swings back around to smash pieces of its shell of to spread Stealth Rocks around the area.

Nenet stands nearby with a voice recorder, her words low as she murmurs into the microphone, "The Ultra Beast does not show signs of fleeing at this time. It seems mildly effected by Minior's Stealth Rock. The Toxic Chain wrapped around Phermosa seems to be hindering its ability to move as it normally would."

As Pheramones spread thick throughout the area in response to the attack Minior spins in place without a care, unaffected.

the ultra beast ones, however, seem to be in a tier higher than normal creepy crawlies. the spatial dragon by her side seems to agree, somehow, as its tail flicks in irritation.

together, the duo cut through the horde as the bugs look to overwhelm the city of petalburg. she grimaces through it all, trying and failing to ignore the way they hiss as pink energy rips them away. reality distorts slightly, but otherwise, the spatial pair seem to make some progress…

at least, it feels like it, but by the time she cuts down a few more bugs, she’s ready to call it quits because she swears she just saw one of their lifeless bodies still moving…

Pheromones fell from the skies like glittering, ethereal raindrops kissed with an aspect of toxicity- those which Desiree did not wish to endure. Within the chaotic route that she took upon the outskirts of Petalburg, accompanied by a lone Carbink, she held onto a smooth railing as the stomps of the Pheromosa brought the ground to shake. The glimpses that she caught of the toxic chain that wavered around their bodies was just as gruesome as it was curious- it seemed to be evolving with its capabilities, which struck a hefty feeling of fear within her heart.[break][break]

Was it a curse born from the universe, or was it so much more? “Binklet,” she whispered softly, attempting not to draw the unsuspecting closer with her worried words. “Send the light curtains out.”[break][break]

The genderless creature of crystalline was quick to send a MOONBLAST into the skies; it’s glowing pink aura glistened within the pheromones that rained downward, enhanced by the presence of the strange bugs that descended and ascended alike. Feeling her heart beat outside of her chest, she wished that it would be enough; and indeed it was, as had the gemstone carbuncle refrained from sending its fairy energies outward, a Pheromosa would have been able to make contact from above with a lone kick. Instead it fell, injured by such ethereal light waves.
