Their rituals under the moon are theorized to be a symptom of some ancient homesickness. Curiously, these moonlit congregations have increased in frequency. Who knows why— but it may be a good chance for you to catch one of these rare pixies![break][break]

in order to qualify for the capture, you must ROLL using the ROLL COMMAND. after, INCLUDE A REFERENCE TO THE MOON somewhere in your post. you may use an image, gif, use an analogy, figurative language, etc.
the highest roll will earn a shiny clefable; the second highest roll will earn a normal clefable, and the second lowest roll will net an clefairy. Lastly, the lowest roll will net a shiny cleffa. the gender of the pokemon can be decided by the recipient.
the attempted capture will not consume a pokéball.
the clefable/clefairy/cleffa have movesets that will be revealed at the end of the event.
this is a time-limited event and will end april 18th, 12am pst.

Adrian had tagged along with Rowan to Mt. Chimney to see the sights after their visit to the local hot spring. As such they're in high spirits, enjoying their honeymoon phase frivolity in earnest. But when they reach the Clefable, they're both speechless as they witness:

It was beautiful and serene, yet sad as they held their hands longingly towards the night. They circled under the stars in a desperate dance, dreaming of a return.

Now might be a good time to mention he'd had a few drinks as he stumbled along, wrapping an arm around Rowan's shoulders. "Wow... They... *hic* really like the moon, huh?" He'd ask rhetorically, before making up his mind: "Let'sh see if they'll dance for us," he'd bark with laughter before yanking down his trousers, revealing from within a pale, full moon for the Clefable.

Rowan wasn’t able to explain the allure he had towards Clefairy, as though some unseen force was willing him into capturing these Pokemon even though his personal preference was towards Water-types. This was the reason he’d decided to go along with Adrian, not realizing that they’d had a few drinks beforehand, making their operation less than stealthy from the get-go. “You could have stayed home, you know.” It wasn’t difficult to discern his drunken antics, having been around them long enough now to spot the signs.

“Adrian!” A hand raised towards his face as they presented both ass-cheeks towards the herd of Clefairy and Clefable, realizing what moon that they’d intended to show off much too late into them pulling their pants down. “You have a great ass, but I’m the only one interested in that, babe.” A hand reached towards one of the empty Pokeballs on his waist, tossing one out into the herd of Fairy-types that were gathered ahead.

The scene before him reminds him of Mount Moon. Legends about the Clefairy used to play between commercial breaks late at night. Programs scheduled into the wee hours of the night were filled with illustrious reminders, promotions for the famous horror entertainment: A World Beyond. These memories paint a detailed scene of his home back in Saffron.

And he looks to stomp all over it.

“Execute.”

The command to prey on the weakest of the herd comes with a sharp whistle. His Naganadel swoops in with its stinger raised. These fairies may not be from this Earth but they still fall to their Ultra Space invaders. Sizzling acid drips with every spurt. The VENOM DRENCH burns those covered in the vile toxins.

A Pokeball comes out to make everything right.

It clicks shut in accordance with Fernando’s glare.

As things ought to be.

Pale moonshine pours from the night skies, illuminating each nook and cranny of Mt.Chimney. There's a certain to allure to it, of course, but it's also incredibly strange for the moon to shine this brightly all of a sudden. It draws attention and focus, prompting Katherine to scale all the way up in order to find the source of such a strange occurrence. Although it takes quite a while for Kat to spot the Clefable swarm, she eventually does.

Their dance is judged intently by her hardened, narrowed stare. While she's an observer, she opts to partake in the ritual by attempting to steal a souvenir. A Pokeball is tossed at a nearby dancing fae, intent on imprisoning the creature.

In search of new hobbies, Michi had decided to try out a local drum circle that some of her Zumba friends were recommending-- but she must have gotten lost. The woman looked up from her phone, looking between the circle of dancing, leaping Clefable and the GPS directions she was supposed to be following. "Oh no..." she murmured, then covered her mouth when one of the cavorting fairy Pokemon stopped to stare at her. She waited until it resumed dancing to sneak a peek at the phone screen again. Had she gone the wrong direction? But the icon on the map said she was in the right place...

She realized the problem a moment later as she pulled up the drum circle invitation and scrolled past the date and time. "Meet at... new moon?! Not... full?" She was two weeks early! It seemed like the Clefable had the mysterious mountain pass reserved for their fairy ceremony. They were awfully cute. Perhaps if she asked nicely, they would let her join their moon-viewing dance class instead?

What better to lure a Clefable out than a Clefable?

Stars joined in on the festivities of the other pokemon at the behest of her Trainer. Given his failure with the Sylveon, Chu-e was determined to at least try and get himself another Fairy type. Really? He didn't need any more. He just liked them and enjoyed the idea of raising them, much like the copious amount of felines hanging around his home.

So Chu-e hid in wait while Stars danced and sang. Eventually, she managed to lure a small group closer and closer to his spot- which meant it was time to strike! A pokeball was tossed. He just hoped his aim was true.

[attr="class","hearmenand22"]Serena yawned as she continued on her walk with Gwen and Titania by her side. She'd been out late because of work, and not rocket work for once. She'd been recording her part in a music video. No, she wasn't singing she was just being featured in it. Her team managed to score the appearance with some up and popping artist, so hopefully the move would do well to get both of their names out there.

She'd worked hard today, starting the shoot early in the afternoon, they hadn't wrapped up till way past midnight. Stretching she felt her stomach grumble as she continued walking. "Maybe I should've stopped for food." Gwen huffed in agreement beside her and Serena sighed. "My head's not in it guys. I'm sorry." she apologized before a strange sound pulled her focus. Glancing over she saw a swarm of Clefable and Clefairy dirty dancing under the moonlight.

It wasn't the strangest thing she'd seen since being in Hoenn, but it certainly was strange. Instinctively she reached for a spare pokeball in her bag. However, she just wasn't feeling it today, her head wasn't in the game. Still, if she didn't at least attempt to snag one of these guys for herself she'd be so pissed tomorrow. With a sigh she aimed at one of the stragglers and tossed her ball. If it worked it worked, if not she'd just go home. She was exhausted anyway.

Check this out!

The attached picture was of several Clefairy dancing atop Mt. Chimney, called out of their dens in middle of the night by some otherworldly force. His mother responded with Wow! and a surprised emoji, followed by a half-joking suggestion that he dance with them.

“Ready to go?” he asked Ji-Ji. It was still a long way to his next destination, and Locke had only stopped to send the rare moment to his family.

Ji-Ji was distracted, however. One of the fairy-types had approached him and was vying for the Drampa’s attention, insistently pointing up. Locke followed its gaze to see the moon, bright and full, hanging far, far above them. “You want to get closer?”

Locke knew homesickness too well themselves to deny the creature. They bent down and picked up the little pink Pokémon, gently placing it on Ji-Ji’s back before climbing on themselves. The pixie gave a happy cry as they flew up and up until they were above the clouds, circling under the moonlight.

The full moon was a beautiful sight. The Cle-fae Satanic Ritual accompanying it was not too shabby either, though Gwyar could not help but feel trepidation as he stared from afar.

The shadows of the Clefables stretched far over the floor as they danced under the moon, casting an eerie silhouette much too similar to that of a certain famous Ghost over the mountainous soil. The shadows shifted and distorted as the faes lost themselves in their glee.

Faes were interesting subjects in Galar, specially amongst those raised in the very old ways. Though seen these days as cute little pixies and the like, the legends of Galar's past made them out to be much more sinister than their often pastel pink palettes would lead one to believe.

However, they were also indispensable tools when it came to Dragon-slaying.

He would be remiss to simply let this chance pass him by. Swallowing down his own trepidation, the man palmed a pokeball and began to carefully approach.

Okay, what the hell was Alexei doing here, so far away from Fortree?

…to be honest it had turned into a side quest looking for some milk tea, since all the stores in Fortree were closed and the only open one of the brand he wanted to purchase was all the way in Lavaridge.

Although...

The sound of the unearthly racket coming from Mount Chimney made him take an unexpected detour to see… that there was a lot of pink Pokémon doing some kind of… weird… moonwalking dance?

Blinking, he wondered if this was even a dream or if it was real… waste not, want not, right?

Moonlight weaved strange patterns along the scarred slope of Mt Chimney, chasing shadows away into lonely corners and tiny crevices. The silvery glow was reflected in moon bright eyes as they settled on the fey-like dancers below, their shapes twirling and spinning to an unearthly tune Skyler couldn't hope to be part of, much less understand.

But she did, in a way.

Legs spread out before her, Captain Dross felt her muscles relax one by one. Warmth giving way to cold as sweat cooled over her sun-kissed skin. She hadn't expected her workout to have taken her this far, but here she was regardless. As much a victim to the spectacle before her as the other trainers wandering about.

And although she couldn't see herself dancing in circles, she could recognize the pull of something bigger than herself. Even from here, Skyler could've sworn she could hear waves crashing upon the cliffs of Lilycove. Begging her to abandon shore and take to the sea.

"I'm sorry you can't go home." A nearby Clefairy blinked up at her, perhaps in confusion. Perhaps in silent acknowledgement.

Skyler followed its path as it joined the others before she, too, returned home.

the moon was pretty when it was full, prettier when it was one of those weird blood moons. but glitch wasn't worried about the kind of moon it was right now. he was worried about these little pink monstrosities that kept dancing around him and the rest of the place. there was a strange misty surge surrounding them that kind of creeped him out if he was being honest. which meant he was worried about actually catching one. he didn't exactly need one but that didn't stop his desire for wanting one. after all he wanted everything he could get his well manicured hands on. so instead of wasting more time thinking about it he tossed a pokeball and one of the fairies and hoped that he stuck the landing.

“Hurry up, Boomer! This shit’s weird.”

The Cubone scrambled over rocks after its trainer, wobbling from side to side, hurrying up. When it got to Roach’s knee, it threw its arms in the air to be lifted. It wanted to see.

Entrancing was the only way to describe it. Roach was unsure how long he stood and stared before he’d snapped out of a reverie. It was like staring at a campfire.

“Yer goin’ down there.”

‘Cuuuu...’

Roach clicked his tongue. “Yeuhp.” And without warning, placed the pokemon on the stone in front of him which angled downward and into the chasm like a steep slide. He let go.

‘CUUUUU!’

“Go on 'n' git‘em, BoomBoom! I believe in ya!”

the festivities drenched in moonlight were cut short by the sound of howling. a pair of lycanroc and arcanine burst through the brush as they descended upon the fayes much to their horror. they gave chase and even bit a few as kazimir entered the scene with a pokeball in hand. while his throwing arm was twitching to capture pokemon his face told another story, one of apology and grief. "guys c'mon i let you off the leash for five minutes and you do this?! do you want to be put back in teh kennels again! oh well....just hold one down at least? and don't hurt them!" he called to his wild dogs and tossed a pokeball into the chaos hoping to hit something. maybe he'd get lucky and hit one of his dogs square in its little annoying snoot.
