The salty spray of water, the warm, wonderful yellow sun overhead-- it was fortunate Michiko had applied large amounts of UV SPF 1000 sunscreen to protect her skin from any sun damage. With all the attacks flying back and forth, there was no way she could have held a shade umbrella!

"Heave, ho!" she cried merrily, trying to start up a chant. "Heave... ho... heave... ho..."

A sudden breeze blew in from the ocean, sending Janpu tumbling towards the Blue Team and into Rowan Wrynn 's face, scattering dandelion seeds down his shirt, all over his hair, and into his ears. Some of them worked their way through the tiny gaps in his hand-knitted wool socks until they settled in between his sweaty toes. One particularly persistent one lodged in his left nostril.

Realizing her mistake, the Jumpluff immediately used U-TURN to catapult herself back to Michi's side, who was still obliviously trying to keep up team morale.

"Oh hey Michi!" Zac called, waving to his friend on the other end of the rope. "Nice day for a tug of war ay?" He said, shouting to be heard over the thuds of impact, the crackle of ice, and the WHUMP of Busta's claw as she shoot Sprinkles.
Zac was about to invite Michi and Ki to get ice-cream after the fight, when Casey's Future Sight struck! The ripple of causality sent sand flying and set the rope flailing wildly. Zac stumbled and gasped in surprise, inhaling some of the spores from Michi's Jumpluff. He coughed, face turning as red as his hair. He was choking!
Busta heard the coughing. Zac needed her help! She dug her claw into the ground and shot out a blast of compressed air. The sand cratered around her, and the Clawitzer was launched high into the air! She peaked, and hurtled downwards, slapping Zac on the back with her one, giant claw!
"HEURCK!" Zac said, spitting out a wad of wet spores. "Thanks Busta," he said between coughs, "nice hit, ya little ripper!"

Tequila, tequila. Why was Djall around this many people? This was maybe not a good idea—evident of the way he occasionally snapped at someone—but few things were at this point. Legs, and thus some telling markings bared, even quality of cover was maybe a bit too relaxed.

Of all the days to wear socks to the beach, this had to be the one in which a Jumpluff decided to attack him specifically for doing so. “What the fuck?!” Rowan was beginning to get irritated and he didn’t want to deal with these disastrous seeds any longer. “Freeze them all, Boreas.”

On command, the Dewgong unleashed a mighty Aurora Beam to freeze the seeds solid and prevent them from causing anymore harm. What made the effort of team Groudon even more difficult was the sand beneath them beginning to become covered in a layer of ice as the beam ran errant across the tug-of-war line.

Though his hands burn from the constant pull of the rope, Gavin doesn't falter. He's endured worse pain for dumber reasons, including the damn Pokeathalon that had left him out of commission for a solid week after it ended.

With a click of his tongue, Gavin's Metagross utilizes its MAGNET RISE.

Tucking in its thick steel limbs around the rope as if it were trying to spin some sort of demented web, the steel-type pulls.

Gina hadn't been putting much effort into the game. While others gave themselves blisters trying to topple over the groudon team, Gina simply pulled when needed. Seeing the other team was gaining more ground, Gina decided to give it her all - she wanted team kyogre to claim the win.

The unexpected force from the magnet rise almost causes Gina to bump into the person she was standing next to. She grits her teeth, hands gripped around the rope as she pulls it. "Rototiller" She commands to her watchog, who had been doing nothing but observing the war.

However with her trainers command, he created a small area in which grass moves would be stronger.

Araarana the NPC tugged hard at the rope with her trusty Grovyle companion. She really breasted bouncily, her swimsuit heaving from the work it was doing to keep her contained with all this physical exertion.

Rover couldn't help but push itself too far, building up pressure until it was nearly bursting. Oozing a toxic waste byproduct like a human would sweat, its tensing petals eventually bunched up while Rover tried to contain itself.

But a single glance up would have it blowing the payload:

A mild SLUDE BOMB would fly into the faces of some few opponents, the blast of bile more than enough to momentarily stymy the competition. One might accuse them of playing dirty, and they would be right.
