Keenan was walking around a forest, completely and utterly lost. He had no idea where he was, and got turned around somewhere. The blonde walked into an opening, and saw...a huge swarm of Eevees. They were cute little things, that he wouldn't mind having himself. His brother had a couple of them himself, and an Umbreon and Espeon. And a Jolteon that was missing a leg, poor sweetie. Either way, none of these Eevee were missing limbs or in need. They were just happily playing with each other. He let out his Pokemon and they started to play with the other Eevee. They were nervous at first, but soon warmed up to his buddies. He let them be and just sat down in front of a tree threw some balls for them to play with. If he did get an Eevee, which evolution would he get? Or would he even have it evolve? All of them looked great and were cute to boot. But he was definitely more partial to Umberon, Espeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon, and Glaceon. He soon found himself falling to sleep, dreaming about Eevee on their various Eeveelutions.

A rumor swiftly spread throughout the region of an eevee swarm found in petalburg woods. And one could bet, the rocket grunt was just as quick to investigate this rumor. Green orbs flickered in search for this swarm, keeping her moments somewhat slow and quite. She had already been in the woods for the pass few hours, searching. A soft sigh escaped her, feeling as though the rumor was all a lie.

But just as she was about to give up, the woman heard small meows in the distance and she was already on the hunt. Although there was no confirm cases of eevee evolutions of ghost types, could you imagine if she was the one to found it? Genesis grinned ear to ear at that thought, spotting a few wild pokemon around the brush. She kept herself low, well hidden in the shadows of the trees. Her gaze shifted from one eevee to the next, spotting the oddly colored ones first. Reaching into her pocket, the woman plucked out an empty ball and tossed it to the nearest eevee she could. Her fingers crossed that she could hit her mark.

Honestly, she had no idea what she wanted to do with one of these. She just wanted one. But wasn’t that the great thing about Eevees? Unlike other Pokemon, you were not locked into what you wanted it to evolve into. While she was a bit partial towards Sylveon, she could always decide otherwise – or just let the Pokemon itself decide. There was a flexibility to Eeeve that simply no other Pokemon could match.



Hence, Violet stalked this swarm, trying to see if there was any straggler that she could snatch for herself. After all, while she did want one, she did not want to enrage the whole swarm or anything. Ranger training had taught her that much. Plus, they were cute and she kind of did not want to hurt any. But if she saw a lost one or something like that, she would strike without…well, with some mercy.

even out in the middle of the woods, crappy cell service prevails. aaron is sitting by a fire graciously started for him by his cyndaquil, hunched over his phone as he painstakingly opens a 103-reply comment chain on instachu from the newest reply to the oldest. he just has to know how the original comment — jolteon is the best eeveelution! — leads to the newest reply, a heated dissertation on the economical impacts of team rocket's takeover in kanto. it doesn't make any sense, but having to click load more replies a million times to see how the argument sparked makes even less sense. he's so absorbed in it that he doesn't notice an eevee has wandered away from the swarm and joined him by the fire, sniffing around for the snacks in his unzipped bag.

Michiko was on her bicycle halfway to Oldale Town when she got the alert about the Eevee Swarm. “Oh no!” she cried, betrayed. “I have to ride all the way back!”

Back in the day, she’d always heard announcements about Pokemon Swarms over the radio. These days, she had an app to tell her when large amounts of a Pokemon had been spotted in her area— but it was rare to happen in Petalburg City, her hometown!

Michiko pedaled furiously towards Petalburg Woods, determined to make it there in time to get an Eevee for herself! They were such lovely pets and very fashionable— also, they were Normal Pokemon, so she could enjoy without negative side effects like fire or electricity! As long as they didn’t evolve, of course.

She remembered when there had been speculation that a NORMAL-TYPE EEVEELUTION might exist— perhaps a different one for male and female eevee? It was a cute idea, but actually, Michi liked normal Eevee best!

“I must do my best... go faster!” She panted, turning on her electric battery. If she didn’t make it to the Eevee Swarm in time before they were all gone, she would be too tired to go to Oldale Town today. She would have to ask her husband to drive her after work instead.
