Well… Yesterday’s find when going Clamperl diving had been an actual fucking Clamperl and while Lia sure hadn’t expected that, apparently they can be turned in to the event organizers for some quick pokédollars.

Another empty Pokeball. It never hurt to have plenty of these around; you never knew when you might encounter a wild Pokemon you wanted to catch. He'd just toss it on the pile he already had once he got back to camp.

The Greninja took a chance to brush his webbed fingers along Hideo's slightly-damp hair before diving down again for another Clamperl prize.

Where had her Swampert gone off to? Hadn’t he come back yet?

“Huh,” was all she said, treading water for a few minutes as she ‘took a rest’ in the surf, before taking another deep breath and diving down—

And colliding with her Swampert himself a few feet beneath the surface of the water. Well, then!

[attr="class","monbody"]It was going to be strange when the Splashfest festival wasn't around anymore. Aurelie could already envision such a time, not far at all into the future, when they couldn't dive into the sea hunting for Clamperl, surf on Mantine, or attempt to send people into a dunk tank on such a massive scale, with people coming in from all over Hoenn to play and relax. The thought filled her with a kind of prescient sadness, to think of all these free opportunities for fun and prizes gone.

But that day was not today, and Aurelie was resolved to enjoy herself as much as she could and get what she could find out of it. She dove again into the water, letting a stream of bubbles escape from her mouth as she let out an underwater laugh to find a Clamperl right beneath her feet.
