Gunner had not believed his eyes when he saw the announcement that a new co-op route had gone live in RONDEZ-VIEW OF LUV, featuring none other than a Megalopolan. He recalled skyler dross's distrust of them. Though he had never encountered one before, he had grown to trust her instincts. And besides, CIAN MAHER had leaked that the Megalopolans were working closely with Team Rocket.[break][break]

So that begged the question: what was Macro Cosmos doing? Why a Megalopolan? And how did they know anything about them? Sure, the disclaimer at the top of the text reminded Gunner that the route was a work of fiction, but with how realistic the rest of the game had seemed, he could not deny the suspicion that the game's developers knew more than they should.[break][break]

The scenario presented in the text was disconcerting, too. Captured and forced to undergo a test at the hands of the Megalopolans themselves. Gunner strongly considered lying while selecting the options, but he needed to gather accurate data. That didn't mean he was going to enjoy the route, however.[break][break]

He tapped his thumb against the phone screen, making his choice.[break][break]

This game is weird. Luka herself isn't nearly as familiar with the Megalopolan war as she should be, so a lot of the backstory goes right over her head. She is careful, at least, to read all about the game's descriptions of their people; the longer she does, the more relieved she is that she wasn't in Hoenn at the time.

After a moment's thought, she decides to answer the question honestly. But keeping it vague is still safer, right?

the entire scenario was too cheesy that it tickles his interest on these darker scenarios that make up a good prologue of a game, wherein your character starts with nothing and is customized by strategically asked questions. if the game wants immersion, kyle gives it a solid grade.

for his answer, he figures he might as well divulge, just for fun. they already got information about him anyways. what's a little more input for them to work with?
