Mage was becoming increasingly drawn to investigating these gashes in the sky and ground. This time, he stood on the border of an aurora that raged out from the ground in a reverse iridescent waterfall. Tim, his Gastly, enshrouded him like a shawl of purple vapour.

And slowly, like a rousing of insects in the grass, Tim started to tremble. A subtle light shone across his body and something shifted in him, like knowledge from another world was flowing into his mind...

Mage coughed.

"Oh god dammit!" Tim smelled different - rough and burning!

“Man,” Hitoshi says, laughing as space-time distorts itself around him, “I could get used to this!” Strange Pokemon from another time come through the rift. He’s supposed to be here protecting some scientist types doing research, but the simple truth is that he’s having way too much fun.[break]
Two of his Pokemon are out on the field. Dewott and Scyther. Two of his heavy hitters. They’re faring just fine right now. Fighting on the frontlines like a pair of warriors should. Dewott attacks with the shell on his belly, drawing it with the speed and precision of a proper samurai. Scyther’s blows flow from one into the next. His battlecry rings true.[break]
Somewhere along the way, both of them start to glow.[break]
“Eh?” Hitoshi blinks. Their form shifts and twists. Dewott takes on the visage of a shogun. Roaring in triumph as he carves apart his foes with his horn. Meanwhile, Scyther’s scythes are replaced by two long, jagged axes.[break]
“Maaan!” Hitoshi cheers. “Christmas came early this year!”[break][break]

NEVER DID SELENA EXPECT THAT THE FIRST TIME SHE WILL BE BACK, there will be an anomaly in the city she has called home.

A dome of mysterious energy forms at the town's core, engulfing the buildings and structures that stood its ground. Selena is never fazed, however. She has seen all sorts of weird in Hoenn and this is just something right up in the alley. Despite being away from the region, she is never amiss of anything that has been happening around. This is just unexpected but not surprising.

But what catches her off guard is the way her Pokemons begin to leap out of their balls, as if the energy is pulling them out of their enclosures as well.

The dewott and her decidueye, Macua, escapes their pokeballs to bask in the glory of the weirdness of it all. And just when things are getting a bit complicated, Selena can see the way her decidueye transform into something different but alike. Its green plumage wilts to vermillion as its stature become much bulky than before. Dewott evolves into a kind of samurott Selena has never seen before.

She watches them in awe as they slowly start exhibiting a level of aggression akin to the wild Pokemons that linger the dome. She quickly tries to recall them in their ball and escape the space-time distortion. There will be another time to tackle what really has happened to dewott and decidueye at a much later time.
