Glimmora was quite the posion pokemon despite being a lovely shade of blue. Even Mirabella use knew so the let one of them choice. Terra just seemed rather indirrent to the walking plants however they were pretty. "Don't they remind you of hemlock just as blue aren't they?" The posion pokemon didn't knowledge her trainer words but it soft glint in her red eyes told her everything she needed to know and for Mirabella smirked[break][break]

While the pair made to keep an approached from the poison flower pokemon it seems decided to come a little closer then the rest. The Glimmora tilted it's head at them. Slowly pulled a pokeball out of her pocket wondered if could get lucky....

While from the surface it seemed like the strange bulbs weren't doing anything reports of them using some kind of corrosion ability on steel structures around them caused a bit of worry. Because of that Pokkenger deployed himself onto the field to try and disperse them or thin out their numbers somehow. They weren't hard to find as they stuck out like a sore thumb but the stench of oleander was really hard to ignore the closer he got to a whole herd of them just...floating around. He had to wonder if there were others in different places around the region and if that was the case then he might as well hurry up and get done here before sprinting off to find more. So taking out a Pokeball he tossed it at the herd to try and see if he could catch something.

Ahh, nature.

It's been a while, to be able to step out into the wilds without fear of living sludge. To be able to run your hands across blades of grass without fear of death. Even the sting of nettles did not feel quite so bad against the skin.

And the Pokemon.

The flowers that were poison, a single antidote would suffice. He seated himself amongst the Glimmets, placing quartz minerals for the Pokemon to feast on. In his right hand was a Pokeball, should one decide to follow. But he left that judgment to nature.

A Rock-type that mimicked the habits of plants. He'd say that was the least interesting thing of all the interesting things about Glimmora. With them dangling from the trees like foxglove, there's no reason for him not to try his hand at grabbing one of these funny little creatures.

When the Rangers were called to investigate a Glimmora swarm on Route 120, Julia sprang into action. Swarms were great for people looking for a specific Pokémon, especially rarer ones, but they could also be bad for the local ecosystem or a sign of an environmental problem. Glimmora were supposed to live in caves, so seeing so many above ground was concerning.

[break][break]She probably should have thought a bit more before taking on this job. If the Glimmora didn't go back to their usual habitat on their own, Julia might have to go underground to investigate. The last time she'd been in a cave, it had been a harrowing experience. Granted, it had also been a warzone leaking Dream Mist, but that didn't stop the memories from giving her chills.

[break][break]Well, she was here now, so she might as well do what she could to help out. That was what a good Ranger did, after all.

[break][break]She saw what looked like a huge flower blooming on a tree trunk. That was definitely not normal. The petals reminded her somewhat of wolfsbane, only with more purple and green. She moved closer to investigate, only for the flower to detach itself from the bark and turn around to look at her! So that's what Glimmora looked like when they weren't all folded up!

[break][break]The Glimmora hovered in the air, staring at Julia. After a few tense seconds, it turned back around to reattach itself to the tree.

As soon as word got out about this new pokemon being spotted, the raven haired woman was out on the prowl. Green orbs observed the creature’s from afar, brows scrunched at their strange form. She watched them come from he ground, almost spouting like a RHODODENDRON. The little purple one even had the same color.

However, her patience didn’t last long. And as soon as she spotted other trainers running into engage in the swarm, so did the rocket grunt. She moved out of her hiding spot, arm pulled back only to launched a sphere into the small group of the pokemon. She hoped she could get one. They looked interesting. And apparently, a poison type too.

A swarm of Glimmora had appeared, like poisonous plants suddenly taking to an ordinary garden.

Johanna had gone here aiming to catch one of these poisonous pokemon. Like masters of the poisonous, like Koga and his ilk, Johanna had begun to collect a wide variety of the dangerous type.

But she was not alone. Trainers nearby began to battle. Sensing a sudden urgency she too jumped into battle.

This time her tinkaton and its hammer played the key role of fighter in this short battle before Johanna would attempt a capture.

He’s not positive, though—Rook is probably better at identifying the poisonous things than he is. City boy or not, he seems to have a keen eye for it. So Lam pauses and snaps a pic of the plants— bad snack? His xatu floats ahead, looking back expectantly as if to say Any day now, Lam. More photos are snapped when they actually find the blooms of glimmet and glimmora. Aquamarine bursts among the darker shades of the others. “Think I can snag one? That’d be pretty impressive, right?”

The xatu clicks her beak dubiously, but he gives it a shot anyway.

Melody had been looking up wisteria plants, they were extremely beautiful purple colored plants that grew in mass. However they were apparently extremely poisonous to humans and some Pokémon as well. She looks around and sees glimmora running amok, scattering themselves upon the landscape of route 120.[break][break]

She sees the poisnous flowwers and tries to find one to claim for herself. They had useful potential with their unique ability to spread toxic spikes when hit which could be extremely useful in battle and give her a lot of options. [break][break]

She readies a pokeball as she lobs it at once of the ones nearby and attempts to capture them. [break][break]

You cannot see your fingertips. You cannot see yourself. In this darkness it is easy to lose yourself in the spectacle, for everything else is distant except those floating lights amid the untouched humid air. [break][break]

Those lights, they do not reach the heavens they aspire to. For of course they belong neither there nor here, trapped between, in the gaps of this world and the next, a crossroads. They and you are much alike, the only things that glow here on the rainforest floor. [break][break]

You whisper it, fear of what might happen if your raise your voice in the stillness. She complies, with that single word. Threads wound around the trees, pulled together as the swarm floats upward into the web trap, not bothered by its poisonous properties, but neither able to float beyond them. [break][break]

The faintest light means you can still catch her eye as she gazes at you with trust and adoration, inky black like the berries of the nightshade. She is awaiting the signal, what comes after the trap. Where the work actually begins.[break][break]

You smirk, and flick your fingers to the side with a clear motion as if brushing all of your concerns aside. The foliage is about to explode with activity, but all for a moment, everything is perfectly still.[break][break]

Some combinations were truly unique in her field, she felt. Rock and Poison were certainly among them. It was natural for plants to develop poisons. Ivies, Lillies, Hemlocks, they all had reason to develop poisons to protect themselves from getting eaten.

Rocks though? Not so much. This line of evolution still required more research. Hence, she was here, sitting on the edge of the swarm and observing, learning from their behaviour. Rock types were on the cross-section between biology and lithology after all. Not precisely her field, but she wanted to learn regardless. Hence, that was all she cared about today. Though if she saw a chance she would grab a specimen for study, of course.
