Andrea with the help of another masked person managed to get the injured figure back on their feet. The figure reluctantly thanked them, addressing the young PokéManiac by name in a feminine voice that sounded eerily familiar.

It was Lulu Flint, wasn't it? Why would she be hiding her identity in the first place unless she was a Rocket? Not that it mattered in the grand scheme of things. In the fight for Hoenn's survival, factions had ceased to hold any meaning.

"Can't you fire another Draco Meteor?" The eccentric trainer asked Huggles, the Dragonite responding by pensively shaking its head. It had already drained most of its draconic spirit through continuous uses of that move. "That's okay, we could try something else..."

At the older woman's warning, Andrea ducked just in time to narrowly dodge one of Hoopa's teleporting fists. "Huggles, paralyze it with a Thunder Wave!" The orange dragon obliged, generating a wave of electricity from its antennae in the hopes of hitting the multi-armed genie through the veil of icy mist.

The driving snow threatened to bury them in an icy grave. GENESECT attempted to shield the two ROCKETs, but it was a surprising presence that truly came to their aid: KELDEO. [break][break]

The small but speedy equid skidded to a stop where BARNABY FINCH and Steven Campbell lay prone in a deep drift, offering the men and GENESECRT a HELPING HAND up against the storm.[break][break]

Barnaby was momentarily stunned by its sudden appearance but did not question it in the moment; instead, he grabbed Steven by his upper arm and heaved them onto GENESECT with renewed strength coursing through his body.[break][break]

"Hold on tight!" He warned the younger man before the steel Pokémon took flight. If Steven Campbell were to make it through this ordeal, Barnaby hoped the young ROCKET had good balance, otherwise he might drag them both into an early death.[break][break]

"Lock-on Hoopa! We need to stop its attacks!" The admin yelled above the storm. Within seconds GENESECT was calculating its target and readied its cannon to fire.

Rayquaza looped around the Unbound Hoopa and White Kyurem, angling up to fly over and look down upon the battlefield. Eva shifted to do the same, getting a good birds-eye view of both the right and left sides of the Heonnian army that had amassed to protect their home. Pride swelled in her chest at the sight of such unity.

The UNBOUND HOOPA’s ghostly hands swatted at their allies. Their particularly unique properties made one threat into six, “We have to protect our people,” she spoke to no one in particular, not even activating her comms. It was meant for her patron.

Rayquaza agreed, swooping back down across the battlefield. They carried with them a SPRINGTIDE STORM. Vicious winds and fairy aura that cut and whipped at the palms of the groping hands in an attempt to keep them from striking their allies.

+ Eva and Rayquaza attack the Unbound Hoopa with SPRINGTIDE STORM since it keeps attacking their allies. EvaGrrrrr.

Crashing in style.

"Woah!" He ducked low against his Volcarona's fur as their flight underwent some turbulence, holding onto his hat firmly as it threatened to fly away. "What, did it turn around or something?"

The dragon was so big it created its own weather, and not in weather trio sense.

It didn't seem too fast, though. Not for now, anyway.

There was also a surprising lack of folk dealing with it— which he took to mean the people were mostly focused on the djinn instead.

"... Guess we should switch targets, huh?" Doug said as he patted his Volcarona, before standing atop his Volcarona. Dropping down onto one calve, he stretched one leg, then the other, before finally...

Leaping off the Volcarone entirely as the haze briefly broke and they fully saw part of the titan's body, the moth returning to its ball as he flipped through the air.

Pointing his arm towards the dragon, Cursed Scales flew towards the titan in a veritable rain as he fell to his doom— before getting caught moments prior to splatting on the floor as a conical head popped out of his growing shadow, levitating him off the ground whilst giving him a dirty look.

"'ey, I didn't ask you to help." He said with a grin. "Look at'cha, doing charity work all n'yer own now... I'm so proud."

With an uncharacteristically unamused look, Tapu Lele sent him hurling back high into the air.

TL;DR:
-Doug drops off Volcarona for style points while shooting cursed scales at Kyurem.

The thick of battle speeds time up for Fern rather than slowing it down. They track the movement of their dragapult, waiting for the right moment to hail her back to their side.[break][break]

They keep eyes on the comrades closest to them, eyeing with interest–and perhaps a pang of mild envy, as Zev Harcourt unleashes some of his capabilities. Even with that degree of FOMO, a wily grin cracks across their mouth as they woop and cheer on the beast’s skillset and decisive actions.[break][break]

A distant rumble through the snowy clouds, though, keys them into what they’ve been waiting for. As if they couldn’t already feel the approaching presence of Tapu Koko like a charge in their bones–electrifying connectivity between them.[break][break]

There’s that adrenaline shot—the one they now associate with power and chaos in mixed supply. They look to their side, prepared to announce the incoming arrival, when something odd halts their speech.[break][break]

The seep of frosty white through jayden cross’s hair prompts a furrowed expression to flit across their face, under the mask. They catch mint frost’s worried look, but there isn’t much time to dwell on the unsettling change.[break][break]

They don’t worry with the ice javelin, they let him pick his battle with @remiel, but the following beam that Zev Harcourt projects prompts another howled “YEAHHHHH BOOOOOYEEEE,” from the admin as they cup their hands around their mouth. Yips and howls and jackal sound echo throughout the rightward side until their patron’s arrival deters them.[break][break]

“Took you long enough,” Fern huffs in complaint as their dragapult is recalled and Tapu Koko flits down from the clouds with curious, but cursory glance toward White Kyurem. Allowing themself to be temporarily distracted, they point toward the kyurem’s feet. “I want in on the fun too,” they demand, taking off at higher speed as the island spirit follows with only a degree more reservation.[break][break]

Circling what space they can, Fern lays down a charged up ELECTRIC TERRAIN that barely rises up around the behemoth’s feet, but it’s enough extra voltage to allow Tapu Koko to pull down a bolstered crack of THUNDER over the creature.[break][break]

Fern lets out an elated breath, and then time speeds up again and THEO BECKETT’s voice crackles through the comms, warning them. They should not have left, even if their speediness allows them to move in a matter of seconds that boil down to practically nothing.[break][break]

In a burst of speed, they’re back at jayden cross’s side, pulling their mask up to look at the other admin. The hatred that ripples off of him is palpable in this place, and this time they’re able to meet mint frost’s eyes evenly, unobscured by the mask. Their fingers reach, curling around Jayden’s in an attempt to stay his hand. “Michail,” they murmur, trying to catch his eye much like that first time in the infirmary after he’d first woken up.[break][break]

Their objective is not control as THEO BECKETT demands, because that would be contrary to their internal compass. But they will try to soothe frigid burn in him, instead.

Ice encased the two men, swallowing them whole. The world had decided their fate and life held no place in it. But, before shadows could feast on their corpses, a flash of color crossed the youth's vision. Red, white, and blue, the valiant pokemon made its mark on their stories, sending assistance through a 'helping hand'.

"Keldo? No way..."

He hadn't seen or heard of the Pokémon in years. Where was it again? The Last Keldeo?

Before he could continue to ponder, BARNABY FINCH took action again, dragging his nearly frozen body onto the genesect. Balancing might've not been his strength in high school, but here Steven transformed into an Olympic gymnast, maintaining his seat with ease.

"Trying!"

The more they moved, the more their bodies swayed, shifting with each bump of the road. This time, when directions came, Steven did his best to listen, immediate hurling instructions out to his rental pokemon.

"Delphox, hurry and burn the bastard already!"

She reaches out, grasping Hatterene's claw, and the world tilts for a brief moment before she finds herself standing next to Zev.

"Are you alright?" she calls over the howl of the storm; her Ursaluna is recalled, and out from her Pokeball pops Shadow Nidoqueen to throw a shimmering protect around the couple.

The Earth is torn apart by the Giant Kyurem. Elinor found shelter momentarily behind the strong resilient dragon by her side.

They had managed to help halt the Zekrom abduction for now.

But for how long? Elinor wondered. She knew she had to regroup with Laurence Anderson, he had to be here somewhere unless by some stroke of bad-luck he had found himself on the left-side.

But she didn’t have to go looking as she heard his familiar voice calling out to her. “Well, I couldn’t just stay behind and do nothing!” Damn right she couldn’t.

Unfortunately as if summoned by the very notion of heroism a portal opened before her. An UNBOUND HOOPA fist came flying through. Had it not been for Minh’s speedy reaction the fist would surely have ended her.

But Minh met the fist with a body clad in dragon-blue energies as the powerful DRAGON RUSH halted the approaching fist. Little did Minh know that a heroic Colt hurriedly passed them by offering both a COACHING battlecry. Elinor noticed the small equine, even if Minh did not.

Even if she was unaware of their heroic helper, Minh still felt the Coaching’s power and so somehow managed to push the hand back into its portal through sheer luck and will power.

Neffatari Nzingha and oscar clayton reached Zev at the same time. As the shimmering barrier of the Shadow Nidoqueen's PROTECT rose around them, the Xurkitree exuded a brilliant light from its head. The light drew Zev's eyes like a magnet. He inhaled greedily, and it blinked out for a moment before the Pokémon generated more. [break][break]

As the light filled him, he felt his strength restoring. The fog in his head began to clear, and the shakiness in his limbs ceased. [break][break]

"Thanks, Oscar," the Beast said, rising to his feet with Nenet's help. To the woman, he said, "I'm okay. Are you all right?" [break][break]

He gave her a once-over. A crack in her helmet indicated exactly where Hoopa's fist had hit. Zev's grip on her tightened as he seethed with fury. He turned to his Hatterene, who stood nearby, awaiting commands. [break][break]

He knew cousin dearest was about to go into this entire tale of heroic gallantry (trust me, it’s an Anderson thing) before an extremely familiar (and unwelcome) ring appeared and tried to clobber the living daylights out of her—only to be intercepted by a familiar Salamence.

“Geez, I don’t know what’s worse, that damned thing that almost killed me and the Iceborne Mirage, or the fact that that stupid thing,” he trailed off, to gesture with a very Alto Marean hand gesture at the golden ring that had appeared and since disappeared after trying to take a swing at her, “…is back. Geez. Honestly. I know kim cole-essam couldn’t keep his full attention on that damned thing that keeps trying to slug at people…the one that tried to punch you just now. Ugh, I hope it’s not the same one,” he ended with another pinch to the bridge of his nose.

Either way…

Now that they were somewhere… down on the ground, he whistled again in his spectral Typhlosion’s direction.

“Do you… want to stay out here on the front or need an extra pair of hands to haul back any injured people for healing?” he offered.

Either way, they had to stick together!

The dragon’s ethereal storm beat against the hands like anger waves crashing against the shore. It seemed to do little to help, which only stoked the fire of frustration in the serpent and their chosen.

Eva smacked a gloved hand against the dragon’s thick skull, a gentle tap to the god that suggested they had done enough for now. The two pulled away, leaving room for others to descend with their refreshed volley of attacks.

The professor leaned forward, her eyes scanning over the masses below then into the skies where the likes of freya morningstar may be. She caught a shimmering glimpse of white hair just before Rayquaza settled over the small army amassed on the righward side of the White Kyruem and the Unbound Hoopa.

She opened her League comms while simultaneously assessing the scene unfolding before them. All they needed to do was keep going. Just a little more, and then a little more after that. Was there something they could be doing differently? Something that would give them the clear upperhand? “Great job out there everyone! Status reports, anyone in need of assistance?”

Rayquaza suddenly leapt forward, curling around to smack an Unbound Hoopa hand with IRON TAIL as it descended towards an ally.

+ Rayquaza uses IRON TAIL to try and knock away an Unbound Hoopa hand from attacking someone (any one with a 3, feel free to say it’s you)
+ Checks in with the team of League Comms to see if anyone needs assistance/back up somewhere

The FLARE BLITZ crashed into the titanic creature with a loud CRUNCH, something Eva Morales may have been able to hear from bumping his comms on mid-charge. As much as the reckless charge stung, especially at the speed his mount ran, it would leave a lasting mark on the Pokémon. The Infinity Energy high left him, rendering the lion's rider dizzy. Leading the fire-type away from the dragon, they were on their way back to regroup with Laurence Anderson and Elinor Anderson , when Kion's legs seized up, causing him to trip over a big piece of ice. "Kion, are you okay?" he asked.

Frostbite raced up the lion's legs, Kion roaring in a great deal of pain. The Gym Leader sounded a shrill whistle as he recalled the shivering hunter. Nala answered Josh's call, the female crouching to let him aboard. A fresh mount beneath his legs, the swift lion BOUNCED high above the Silent Icelands, trying to track down the Andersons' position.
