Without fail, their attacks coalesced, burning a hole into the crystal dome. Pieces began to fall apart all around its perimeter, allowing onlookers to gaze at its kept secrets.

The more Penelope stared, the more curiosity tethered her to the dome's crumbling foundations. It could've been a simple battle between an a league member and rocket. It could've just been The liberator defending their own, but something told her otherwise. Something kept her there, attention grappled, like a string grounding a kite.

Three figures - no, four - were spotted, the colors of their outfits barely peaking out from the ruble. One began to move, hobbling toward another when--

The woosh of Hoopa's fist was the sound of a car horn right before an accident. It was quick enough to warn, too slow to prevent. Snapping her neck to the left, the councilwoman's eyes widened at the sight nearly swept right under her nose. Gunner Graves and ollie morales, nearly critically injured, sprawled out on the snow. Beside them, illeana reyes and...annalise henderson were already caring to their wounds.

Instinct screamed to follow.

"Gunner! Ollie!" For the first time since arriving to these barren wastelands, fear laced the councilwoman's words. For a second, she was reduced to just PENELOPE LIVY. "Please tell me you two are alright."

Tears and the manifestations of the after-shock aches welted upon her cheeks as she saw Thomas Benoit, her trudging picking up to meet him rapidly in the middle. In the cold, the warmth that came with embracing him bubbled within her stomach, sizzling as her lips met his neck and her arms slung around his chest. It was the one thing that made her wish to keep on dissuading the existence of the dragon of fractals, being their combination of what they wished for against the world; Kyurem and the danger it brought threatened the existence of prosperous love. "You don't know how much I adore you," she said shakily, a welt forming within her chest. She wished to tell him that she loved him more than anyone else in the entire world- but she needed to wait.[break][break]

"Oh, and Shalin Nariya, thank you," she tried to smile, the bleak frost manifesting on her tattooed cheeks making it much more difficult than she ever could have imagined, ".. I'm okay now, I think." But how could she possibly be okay, being that she felt the essence of her life draining out of her body while cloaked in the tuft of snow and shards? It was a means of convincing herself, if at all; yet her momentary optimism brought her to scream when she heard Yuina Higashi's pleas for help, a relentless shout of "NO." She felt her heartbeat quicken faster than it slowed down when she was encased in the white mass, rapidly looking around for a solution.[break][break]

But a giant arm stopped her in her tracks, slamming her aside in a quick motion. A pained thud slammed her into the ground, leaving a body-shaped cataclysm in the snow. Yet, somehow, she was able to pick herself up; the adrenaline in the body to assist her best friend, another that she had boundlessly loved, pushed her to wish to keep going. She had to make sure Yuina was safe- there wasn't a world where she could imagine losing her. The decision to mount the dragon alongside her beloved was irrefutable, her Comfey delicately wrapping itself around her arm as they were off, further frozen fractals of cascading tears fluttering from her stuck-together eyelashes.[break][break]

The fear that her bestie was in deep trouble was so prominent within her soul that she was forced to remain silent, as the quivering of her stomach would bring her to vomit if she opened her lips. All she could focus on was the destination the fist had brought the brunette to; all the other bodies amidst the dome of crystalline were pointless, they did not matter in the slightest. Trivial. Time melded into itself with the numb feeling of potential loss, so much so that the moments that led them to their destination felt like mere seconds.[break][break]

Dismounting the beast and stumbling due to the overwhelming feeling upon seeing her like that.. it hurt, it brought her legs to be rendered almost entirely useless. But she tried, and once she got to the side of Yuina, she fell to her knees. "Yuina.. you're okay, you're okay..! You have to be, you have to get up. Please, please be okay," she paused to cough, turning her head to sputter a clot of crimson into the snow. The punch was catching up to her; it brought a trail of blood to trail down her lips down to her sternum, staining some of the Comfey's petals. "I won't let you leave our world.."[break][break]

Instinctually, the Comfey unwound from Desiree's arm and released yet another FLORAL HEALING; a mass of petals sprouted from the frozen ground and puffed their pollen outward for everyone in need to retain their physical composure. It brought the blood on the inside of her to clot, combined with Violet Fairbanks's jungle healing.[break][break]

The pain on the inside was numbed by anger, an effervescent distaste for the legendary beasts that sprawled fates from their tongues. She hated them for everything they had brought to this world; an elitist concept of all-knowingness, fractals of ice containing the creatures she had fostered relationships with, pain to the innocent, pain to those that had endless bounds in her heart. If she had the power to grow to the size of a planet, she would use a needle to slowly stab at them until there was nothing left but pulp. She wished for Kyurem and Hoopa to perish in the form of long, drawn-out deaths. It was what they deserved for bringing pain to Yuina Higashi.[break][break]

But they had the upper hand when it came to drawing out the fates of the universe. "They.. must die. The dragon and the genie must perish, they must stop," she said haphazardly, softly, spitting a clump of red out her mouth once more and looking up at the colossus and its pet. Then she screams at them, a gut-wrenching exhaustion; “Fuck you— arrêt!” If they were able to speak foreign tongues, perhaps they could sense emotion as well. The wretched reaction that was her wishing death upon them.[break][break]

DEFYING THE TRUTH

THE WHITE KYUREM CONTINUES TO SNARL prophesied verses. Although the satiation of its appetite is temporary, its unexpected fusion with RESHIRAM has forced it into something akin to that of an automated protocol. In other words, a twisted fate has demanded the dragon to speak for better or for worse.[break][break]

The grim ice of its right wing and limb begin to fracture. After its stolen flames flare, the WHITE KYUREM launches a FUSION FLARE across the entire field. In a moment of desperation. Of resolute spirit. The KELDEO TRANSFORMS.[break][break]



Wielding its own blade, it swings its sword-like horn, SLICING THROUGH the FUSION FLARE. Streams of flame past by its lithe body, granting everyone else the opportunity to dodge or weather the infernal wave.

The move, FUSION FLARE, CAN NOT BE SKETCHED.

As the FUSION FLARE passes, all Pokemon that have been frozen in the past and in the recent present are THAWED OUT. Steam announces their return, though they are all BURNED.[break][break]

The UNBOUND HOOPA is interrupted. Hoenn's defense strikes back. DRACO METEORS and a ear-splitting LASER seen by all on the frozen plain dominate the airspace. The UNBOUND HOOPA reacts quickly, knowing that its strike would prove to be disastrous.[break][break]

Quickly, the Djinn retracts all of its rings from the battlefield. With a strained grunt, it redirects the meteors and laser through one expanded ring before shooting it out from another ring that materializes above the chasm. The reef of TERA CRYSTALS glimmer violently as they shatter from the attack.[break][break]



At the same time, the KELDEO narrowly avoids the laser as it leaps across the canyon. Upon landing on the side, its hooves skid on frozen snow as it witnesses the carnage. Having acknowledged the heroes that have gathered here, including Melody Miro's COBALION— it thinks of its fellow Swords.[break][break]


The subterranean reef of TERA CRYSTALS glimmer like short-circuiting lights. As the UNBOUND HOOPA reflects, it decides it must soon take its leave. It can not risk injury—for there is more fun to be had. Using one of its rings, it bisects several TERA CRYSTALS from the chasm before firing them like catapulted boulders from other rings.[break][break]



THE TERA CRYSTALS BELOW AND NOW DISPLACED ABOVE blind everyone with a dream-like flash. As the light fades and your eyes acclimate back to the dull and cold wintry landscape, you find yourselves surrounded by ghastly constructions of iron. Although some may find one of these machinations to be familiar (DR. NISA HOLO CO-OP RVL ROUTE), the other two are wholly unknown.[break][break]

Whether it is due to Xenon Antheil's perverse ambitions, Keldeo's heroic motivations, Melody Miro, MATIAS SILPH, and kyle lopez's own companions, or Unovan myth twisted and reimagined over time, countless IRON LEAVES, IRON BOULDERS, and IRON CROWNS manifest across the snowbound battlefront.[break][break]



THE WHITE KYUREM resumes its decrees. As the IRON BASTARDIZATIONS OF THE SWORDS OF JUSTICE begin to hunt you and your Pokemon, the UNBOUND HOOPA begins planning its escape. Unbeknownst to everyone, a PINK ENERGY begins to crust around the dimensional rift the KYUREM had passed through...[break][break]

TWO CHARACTERS PER PLAYER are allowed to participate. The characters can not participate in the same thread.[break][break]

Prophecies revealed in one thread will be revealed in the other thread and vice-versa.[break][break]

The White Kyurem begins its FUSION FLARE, and from it, Genny weathers the storm. Why? Because Zagreus had FLASH FIRE. She's not smirking, she's not getting more confident. In fact, it's only making her more furious. But more than that, perhaps, is her irritation to the Hoopa. That thing would displace all of the crystals, and Genny's scowl grows fowler, as she sees them above.[break][break]

Hearing that Yuina was alive barely registers, when she sees DESIREE BLOOMS get slammed by another one. And now, hearing from the distance that her bae Isaac Merlo and Thomas Benoit had kept Yuina Higashi alive... well. Had she not just witnessed the Hoopa do what they do best, she may have recovered.[break][break]

Instead. Now with all the Paradox Pokemon coming out, Genny's fury gets hotter. And with it, she roars out, with that FLASH FIRE power. "INCOMING! Heatran, suppressive fire! Keep the girls safe! Zagreus? Get angry!" With the incoming chaos of the the Iron Leaves, Iron Boulders, and Iron Crowns...[break][break]

Genny and Zagreus jump headfirst, with a RAGING FURY! She's putting a stop to this. It's risky. But she's already flipping the coin.[break][break]

illeana reyes's HEALING MIST fills the air, pinkness mingling with the frosty chips of the surrounding area. He sucks in a breath, sharply, as he feels Gunner Graves drag him upwards and onward.

[break][break] "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine, I think," he tells the HBIC agent, leaning against him as they hobble through snow. His arm - held tenderly at his other side - is already beginning to feel better. In the distance, the sound of booming noise and shattered glass explodes — and the sight of THE VISIONARY flickers into nothingness as she teleports across the field.

[break][break] Soon after, the sight of familiar blond hair jerks him away from the phenomena and instead he blinks fondly at the sight of annalise henderson wandering up to them. Her Slowking's HEAL PULSE mingles with the head scientist's pink mist, and finishes the job. Ollie straightens to his feet and pulls away from Gunner as he flexes his hand experimentally into a fist.

[break][break] "Thanks you guys," he beams at annalise henderson and illeana reyes both before Councilwoman's PENELOPE LIVY as her words cut through the blizzard. Her words bring something warm to his chest too, amidst the frozen snow. "We're okay! Are you?"

[break][break] Emerald eyes shift towards the sight of the KELDEO launching into the air and cutting through the FUSHION FLARE with it's valiant sword-like horn. The white flash that results moments after is blinding, making the Head Ranger wince, but the sight that assaults him seconds after isn't one that he could have imagined in his wildest dreams.

[break][break] Shit.

[break][break] "What the hell are those?"

[break][break] They couldn't just stand here. They were going to be fucked by whatever those things were. It reminded Ollie of the beasts that they'd seen in the Tera Tunnels during the last AQUA meeting.

[break][break] "Watch out!" he shouts in warning, as one of the bastardized creatures comes galloping towards him and annalise henderson both. His hand drags her back out behind him, just as his Mega Pidgeot flies out to protect them all. "Saffron! Quick, clear the path!"

[break][break] A HURRICANE ripped out violently through the snow, aimed to knock down all those bastardized horses like bowling pins.
