Elise sighs when she sees her Aegislash get frozen, so she sends out her Lucario to take her knightly sword Pokemon’s place. Tomoe feels the blizzard onto her fur though the Lucario would brave the blizzard. The ground beneath the royal ambassador is a little unstable due to the glacial dragon digging its nails and she tried to balance herself, only for the ground to become stable courtesy of ’s help.[break][break]

When she hears him back talk at the councilwoman, the royal ambassador’s purple eyes narrow. “How rude, you should not tell her off like that.” Frigid exasperation that rivaled the bitter winters of the Crown Tundra permeate the words of the Galarian princess when she spoke to . “Councilwoman is doing her part too. On the matter of hat other woman you speak of? She does not matter here.”[break][break]

During the blizzard, her Lucario uses Aura Sphere to break the ice shards from the blizzard in order to keep up an extra shield. Warmth from the councilwoman’s Camerupt makes Tomoe keep going with ensuring that the icy beast doesn’t damage the trainers. [break][break]

kyle was too busy enjoying the raid-style boss to react to comms, especially after hearing order him to stay back.

the instruction was taken a step further by staying off the front lines and switching his pokemon to his smeargle in a more supportive role instead. a geomancy is set up to be passed on later.

"i think it means the seed we got from the cave when we met the dogs. i guess two calyrex are going home from each version of galar," he tells matias. "that's what you're asking, right?"

he had purposely distracted himself that he wasn't sure the development that caused this friction. the last time he was paying attention, he had been getting backup.

he watches come at , waiting for her to take her attention away from the elite four and back to the battle before stuffing his hand on his pockets. earbuds he uses for his phone were handed over.

"looks like you'll need this."

staying back did give him opportunity to be more carefree and lax, comparatively speaking. he connects it to his phone, playing a playlist of songs from ten to twenty years ago.

she mumbles low to herself, barely audible amongst the chaos around them, but should listen close, perhaps he could hear the scientist's inner turmoil beginning.

judgement - is it upon them?

no, it feels wrong. this isn't how it's supposed to be. the sky is not dark. there are no falling meteors of divine punishment. those of them who possess legendaries still have them tucked close.

and she finds she can breathe a little easier with and closer in proximity to her own body. beside them, she doesn't feel entirely alone.

to 's question, she weighs her words carefully before speaking once more:

"two kings could reference anything, realistically, but buds to bloom speaks of the birth process i believe."

They wouldn't have sent an Underboss into this mess if there wasn't something to gain from it. The bad news is, that's the only response you've gotten. What, is everyone else too busy to humour the Rocket Beast with a response? C'mon. Surely, they could find a little time to stop fighting and--

CRACK! Kyurem drives its claws into the icy ground, and miles of cracks spread across the glassy surface. HM. Definitely a bad idea to be this close to the titanic monster, huh? Especially so close to its gigantic feet? Yeah, you need to get the fuck out of here, stat.

"Sorry bud! Not this time!"

Before your Shadow Durant can make good on all of its set-up, you return it to its Pokeball, and proceed to sprint through the blizzard and away from the towering menace. Where are you going? You're not quite sure, to be honest, but wherever you end up, it can't be much worse than "within stomping distance", that's for sure.

[attr="class","text"] With so many others taking up the front line, it felt like an easy choice to hang back and offer support where it was needed. With Mallow able to fly out and make attacks at range, Lam could keep an eye on where the extra buffs were needed. He preferred to stick to those sidelines naturally, rather than be front and center of the action, anyway.[break][break]

Not to mention it allowed him to stick with Rook, just like he’d said. A part of him wanted to pipe up, give his partner a cheeky little quip like, “See? I really don’t go out of my way to try and get my arms broken! I’m careful!!” But that would probably only earn him more agitation from the already nervous Rook. And the last thing he wanted to do was end up sleeping on the couch because he couldn’t refrain from making a poorly timed joke about the last time he’d left home to just help out some, I’ll be careful I swear.[break][break]

Too soon? Definitely too soon.[break][break]

Instead, his hand pressed against Rook’s back for a moment in another show of wordless support, and then he looked upward for Mallow as she careened back toward them. He pointed upward, a spinning motion of his finger telling her to give another go ‘round once it was clear that she wasn’t going to freeze up like some of the other pokemon on the field had.[break][break]

He tapped Rook, then darted to the side for a moment, straying no further than a few yards from Rook, and still within range of the mixed AURORA VEIL and CRAFTY SHIELDs. When he came back, he had a stray, shivering ducklett tucked into the fold of his arms. And now that he gave the vast field a closer look, there were plenty of other wild pokemon, fleeing the stomp of massive feet and battle– all disrupted in their home.

TWO CHARACTERS PER PLAYER are allowed to participate. The characters can not participate in the same thread.[break][break]

Prophecies revealed in one thread will be revealed in the other thread and vice-versa.[break][break]

It was an odd prophecy, one that Hideo didn't know what to do with. He wasn't left with much time to think on its meaning, the Kyurem's claws cracking the earth beneath them; if they weren't careful, they might fall to their death.

And so could some of the frozen Pokemon.

Hideo activated his Sygna Suit, helping protect him from the encroaching cold. "Floofer, we gotta keep others from falling in," he ordered, batting his Arcanine on the back.

She let out an eager *yip*, keeping her eyes out for anyone person or Pokemon that might risk falling in, aiming to pull them away from the depths before they dropped.

it's all red. red like the veins in her hands, straining against tawny skin. red like the capillaries bursting in her cheeks, making a blush to stave off the freezing cold. 

her fists glance against something. and then something again. and it's not the satisfaction of the meat pillow encasing a skull. it's an object attached to another body with another mouth and after a couple of hateful blinks, her peripherals come back and she realizes they're trapped in a crystal sphere of nomi's making.

they can't see us in here. nobody can.

the person with the stick - cane - el, saying, is now really the time? well they can fuck right off. and so can isaac, for shrugging his shoulders and saying yeah, let's all kumbaya here 'cause nomi said so. 

she spares a glance at her girlfriend, brows furrowed, nostrils still flaring, and calmness sweeps over her. compassion to do the right thing. courage to make it reality. 

she turns. isaac reclines against the crystal. she takes a moment to collect her thoughts - the visionary gets injured. the visionary is helped by the liberator. the visionary traps them all in a bubble of crystal.

sure.

her golden fist comes down again and cracks isaac against the jaw.

The last thing he wanted to be was one of Those assholes who lorded his powers to override someone's autonomy, even if it was very helpful for getting him out of a beating. He'd rather be a scented candle than a mind control device, so to speak. "We all good now? S'it time to get down to business?"[break][break]

Still giving his jaw a tender rub, Isaac nodded over in the direction of the kaiju being reflected in the crystal's facets. "So. Cuphant in the room. Or Cuphant outside the room, thank Arceus." If Kyurem somehow wiggled its giant ass into here, Isaac would scream. "Right now, we're all dealing with Big Ugly out there. And, surprise surprise, if left unchecked he's probably going to fuck the region up something awful."[break][break]

Isaac glanced from Parker, to , to . He desperately hoped the pattern of how this always went would make itself clear.[break][break]

"So I guess the first topic on the docket is 'how the fuck,' and the second one is-" Isaac chanced the slightest approach to Nomi, hoping that he could at least start putting his gifts to good use. Nomi couldn't be a very good generalissimo shouting orders from the floor. "Do you think it's broken, Vis? Might need all hands on deck if it is. Believe it or not, I'm no miracle worker."[break][break]

For a brief moment, he wondered if Nomi could rewrite reality to fix her ankle. He then very rapidly realized that maybe encouraging her to play god would be the start of an all too slippery slope. Maybe magic healing water and a kiss from her girlfriend was the better solution today.[break][break]

At first, it seems as though and were able to set things up for to calm down already... But much to their shock, she once more swings out before they or Ysera can react, clocking Isaac in the jaw..!

At first, Ysera growls - prepared to act defensively, but between the aurora and El noting Isaac's reaction... "It's okay, Ysera." They speak softly to soothe the dragon - even if they're not entirely sure that being punched in the jaw should be considered okay, Brother Plz.

Instead, listening to Isaac speak, they lean against Ysera and take a second to inspect their cane, which... Probably would appreciate a bit of repair later for a couple dents it earned - because dang that punchy lady hits hard, apparently. But otherwise, it's perfectly functional still.

And glancing to the Kyurem, they thought for a moment, before murmuring "It's like it's... Trying to tell us something, a prophecy of some sort..." It sounded like a prophecy, at the very least - though they weren't sure what was going on, for Kyurem to be equal parts prophesying and destroying.

But then is the question of the Visionary's ankle - is she gonna need some more treatment than just a dousing of Isaac's healing waters? Switching Ysera out for Bibidi and actually using their cane as a cane once more, El steps closer to inspect the ankle. "If it needs to be set... Bibidi here can help." They mention with a gesture towards the Alakazam.

Between her expertise with telekinesis, overall master-big-brain intelligence, and sensitivity to others around her, they'd trust Bibidi to be able to put a bone back into place better than they could.
TLDR/NOTES:
- With , , and in the Secret Crystal Dome™️
- They're a bit shocked at Parker clocking Isaac again; but seeing that he isn't too bothered, calls Ysera off before she acts in his defense.
- (They aren't sure if being punched by someone is as fine as he makes it out to be, though???)
- (Also poor cane got a bit dented; but it still works fine.)
- In response to Isaac mentioning Kyurem, El muses over its prophesying - which seems like a stark contrast to all the destruction.
- As attentions shift to Naomi's ankle, El switches Ysera out for Bibidi the Alakazam, and comes over to inspect the ankle.
- Mentions that Bibidi can help with setting the ankle, between her expertise with telekinesis + intelligence + sensitivity to others.

While the Frog was down on the ground with his Arcanine, where was Bird?

There was a Charizard who was airborne, weaving in and out through the snow bursts; keeping an eye on the situation from above… because who knew if that strange… beast would scream and freeze everyone in their path…

“Not on my watch.”

With an internal voice literally screaming “IDI NAHUI” as he came sweeping down, the Charizard then breathed out a burst of Flamethrower; an attempt to bat back the cold further.

In spite of being surrounded by some of those that were closest to her, the sting and anguish of knowing that Rasza was suffering such a terrible fate as being bound in ice, trapped, frozen, was still prominent as the battle against the giant monster waged on. Yuina tried to take 's word, he truly believed that their Pokemon would be alright, that they just needed to continue the fight. Surely... He was right? He wouldn't... lie to her?[break][break]
With little option but to keep pressing on, hoping for the best, Yuina trudged through the snow storm and the quaking ground with her peers, Heatran stomping along beside her. The hearth monster glowed furiously with bright orange heat, offering some semblance of warmth amidst the blizzard, and continued to hurl boulder after boulder through the fray Stone Edge to keep up their offense.
