That they got right on the money for the third Pumpkaboo takes Makoto by surprise; but perhaps they're getting better at this? It's hard to say, but they at least have one more round to go before this whole competition is over.

The final Pumpkaboo is the biggest of them all; a super-sized fellow, that made their peers seem so small by comparison. Makoto marvels at the size of the ghost-type for a bit, before they finally settle on their final set of numbers. How close would they get, this time around...?

forget what he was thinking just a moment ago; this pumpkaboo being presented now looks to be even larger than the previous one. "you're kidding me...!?" no, jokes are all being set aside in this friendly competition. or at the very least, this ghostly critters seemed friendly enough to volunteer themselves for this entire ordeal. regardless of the context, one more answer ought to do the trick in order to claim a prize. will it be a suitable one though? only time will tell, or so goes that old saying, or some other form of cliché that can describe this matter. in any case, silverio is merely going out on a limb here...

they had been completely distracted by other things to think about the last pumpkaboo, but the size of this one alone made it impossible to do that- much less the commotion that it caused. it's easy enough to circle around back to inspect the pokemon, but...well. maybe they don't have great math skills.

One last Pumpkaboo to take a look at, and it surely was the biggest one of the bunch. At least it was easy to tell that much compared to the rest of them that had been brought out for the game. It was the Unovan Zoroark that is always wary of the town’s residents when the ambassador steps into Oldale Town’s main plaza. Elise was the King piece on a chessboard and her Zoroark acts on the position of being her bodyguard while the princess comes up to view the final round’s Pumpkaboo. it looked like the same as the last one though she can’t place what was the actual height of the pumpkin Pokemon.[break][break]

“This one is a little harder this time.” The royal Galarian ambassador speaks to her fox Pokemon and Elise takes a slip out of the box on the table. “But I’m sure our guess will be right.” [break][break]

She spaced out for a lot longer than she thought, already seeing that another Pumpkaboo has entered the stage. Looking as everyone is fervently writing numbers down, she - for once - looks at the paper as she writes a number, much more legible than before. "Yeah ... I guess you may have a point sometimes, but - not - always," she pokes 's cheek with a grin, emphasising each last word with a poke. But this is it then, huh? Time to head home soon ... wherever that may be, sometimes. "Wanna come over for dinner? My dad promised to make pumpkin soup."

"I'm always correct," Cass protests, though there's no real heat behind it. She knows how many mistakes she makes, no god needed. "Woah, that's a huge one," she comments as the last Pumpkaboo is brought out, "Like, that's almost an entire evolution in itself."

And yet, that's just the standard one ... and Cass assigns a number.

"Ohh, maybe if you don't mind ... think it should be fine to stop by, yes," she grins at 's offer, trying to relax a bit as they wait for the big reveal, the grand finale.

Why's endings always so big? What for? To hide all the plotholes from before?

They were a little late to the festivities, and running a bit behind getting home as it was, but who was Locke to pass up on a silly competition? A quick glance at the pumpkin and few lucky numbers later and the postman was ready to submit.

Maybe he should consider finding a Pumpkaboo for the garden while he's here...

Okay, so maybe his first guess had been off, and maybe Jethro had been so distracted by gorging himself on deep fried Oreos that he hadn't made it back for a couple of the other rounds, but surely now that he was empowered by the rustic strength of fair food, he would have better luck guessing the size of this particular critter. [break][break]

The ex-Ranger scratched the back of his head as he appraised the final ghost on offer. He squinted, and circled 'round it, and crouched down and stooped over it to get a look at the ghost from every angle. Finally, after Jethro decided that he had seen enough, he jotted down his answer with greasy fingers, vaguely hopeful that he would fare better this go around.
