THE FACTION’S PLOT WILL COVER a wide array of topics and objectives. listed below will be a short synopsis of ooc information with reference to progress made. these plots are based off the company’s goals, character ambitions, and in-character developments. the hope is that putting all this information in one place will help with tracking relevant threads and help stimulate plotting and thread ideas.

listed below will be a series of prompts modeled after excursions during the STEWARDS OF SPRINGTIME event cycle. however, these prompts will be managed by members and therefore function differently. to ensure a smooth transition, here are a few guidelines to assist players.

unlike staff ran excursions, these will not be completed within a single thread. instead, details and prompts will be listed that players can tackle through several threads, creating an overarching narrative over time. as these plot lines are developed, additional details may be added based off thread results.

since these excursions will revolve around legendary pokemon and other high impact subjects, players should approach a ‘less is more’ approach. creating canon information should be kept to a minimum to allow flexibility. please consult staff prior to establishing lore that affects other players.

these threads should not require staff to overlook them. they are to be treated like any other social thread. these excursions exist as plotting tools to give our characters a common objective and fun thread prompts.

many of these threads will involve research. it is okay for your character to make conjectures that end up false. having to discern between contradictory information adds weight to the world. use this for character growth and to make our successes that much more impactful.

wish tag

A TREASURED ARTIFACT LOST during the navel tower raid promises immense power to whoever manages to walk away with it. legend has it that any wish written onto the tag will come true.

this is a secret project started by FERNANDO SILPH.

• gain custody of jirachi's wish tag.
• jirachi’s wish tag was received as a gift from dominic sinclaire shortly after the navel tower raid.
• the underboss used the artifact as leverage to cut a deal involving the coup and planned assination of silas blackwell, team rocket’s boss.

[li]make a wish using jirachi's wish tag.

• jirachi’s wish tag was used to make quick work of silas blackwell as well as team rocket amidst an ultra beast attack. fernando explicitly wishes for project avalon, hoping that a roundabout wish would maximize its value. it binds to his skin.

• the wish tag has fused with his arm and remains dormant. to ensure there is no unseen damage, fernando goes in for his yearly check-up. nothing of note is discovered.
• after a year of inactivity, the wish tag reawakens. it starts to absorb his flesh as it evolve into some grotesque abomination. anya fowl is quick to remove the specimen. she oversees the sample while its previous host recovers.

GIRATINA

THE RENEGADE IS A LEGEND that surpasses legends. it is said to live in a world on the reverse side of ours. there, it silently gazes upon the old world, waiting. unfortunately, the time is now.

• katherine’s blacephalon opens up an ultra wormhole at the mauville warfront. followed by gavin and lucas lane, the trio shifts dimensions. inside, they unknowing unleash giratina. it escapes its confines, imprinting an image of the griseous orb on her reuniclus’ future sight.

• during her adventour, katherine’s group encounters origin forme giratina. she offers herself to be its vessel. freed from the distortion world, the renegade becomes one with her, anything to find what it has once lost.

• katherine, fernando, stormy, and mateo explore the depths of meteor falls. in it, they each find a shard of the spooky plate.
• a call to gather the plates brings them all underneath one roof. katherine makes an appearance just in time to steal zac’s shard, unaffected by the judgement of those present.
• the new underboss chu-e provides katherine with a dossier of individuals who partook in the adventor. he pledges his shard should he be unable to retrieve the earth plate itself.

MALDACENA'S PRINCIPLE

PASSERBY ANALYTIC

the company PASSERBY ANALYTICS recently published a survey. at the bottom was a riddle that, when answered correctly, revealed a portion of hoenn’s map.

notes:

• due to the amount of people involved, we believe this was given to everyone who answered correctly*.
• based on the size of the map piece, we believe there to have been six separate pieces*.
• PASSERBY ANALYTICS has claimed the map to be a glitch. at this time, that appears to be true*.

rumors circulated about the location revealed on the map. many trainers, including myself, showed up to an unidentified island in hoenn’s south east quadrant on SUNDAY.

@aaaaaaa is requesting an edit:

cry of a nosepass told us the answer for the whirlpool riddle.
suggests riddles to be straightforward and not entirely connected to personal data/history/mind games.

UNKNOWN ISLAND

many trainers were on this island including several members of team rocket. on the coast, a riddle urged those present to venture into one of several nearby whirlpools.

note:

• several trainers reported hearing voices important to them. based on our understanding of these events, they were likely targeted to us as individuals based on our data and history.

THE CLOUD

the whirlpools transported us to a digital dimension referred to as THE CLOUD. due to the heavy presence of PORYGON, we believe this to be true.

maldacena, who we have encountered during the UNOWN REPORT COOK OFF, revealed himself. he claimed that THE CLOUD is a backup of our dimension. the purpose of this backup is to restore our world in the case of ANOMALIES, not unlike traditional data storage formats.

maldacena claims that the syndicate, official title DARK TRIAD, has become involved due to this dimension’s affect on others. they believe our dimension will be responsible for the end of all dimensions, an event referred to as the ORIGIN POINT.

at this time, we believe the claims about other dimensions. beyond ULTRA SPACE, several individuals have visited other worlds through GRANITE CAVE. we believe FATHER WINTER to be a member of the DARK TRIAD.

for his own amusement, maldacena was willing to assist our dimension. he tasked those present with disabling SIX TERMINALS that, from our understanding, would be responsible for wiping out our dimension and restoring it to an earlier point in time.

it should be noted that a SCAN may have been completed some time after entering.

the porygons present began to attack those present. my understanding at this time is that while maldacena can operate THE CLOUD he does not have sole control. however, due to his character, it may also be for his own amusement. he has a fondness for riddles. we do not know who else, including the DARK TRIAD, can operate THE CLOUD.

some individuals were attacked by their data copies. for what reason, we do not know. we also do not know if these were earlier renditions of ourselves or another entity using our likeness as their form.

it should be noted that injuries sustained throughout THE CLOUD seems to affect our data. within THE CLOUD we do not retain a physical human body in terms of organic matter.

TERMINAL 1: AVATARS

the prompt at TERMINAL 1 was to identify the legendary pokemon that belongs in a sequence. based on Katherine Fairburne’s account of her experience, the choice and riddle is seemingly arbitrary.

an incorrect answer caused the group to encounter opposition. they were faced with Thomas Benoit and YVELTAL along with an unidentified man with RESHIRAM. due to the nature of these circumstances, i believe this was the data of RESHIRAM’s previous avatar, if applicable. this is certainly plausible considering the relationship with Laurence Anderson, ARTICUNO, and SENRI HARADA, as well as John Sullivan, TAPU LELE, and illeana reyes.

TERMINAL 2: LEGENDARIES

the prompt at TERMINAL 2 was to identify the legendary pokemon that did not belong. among the options were RAIKOU, ENTEI, SUICUNE, UXIE, MESPRIT, AZELF, DIALGA, PALKIA, GIRATINA, DARKRAI, CRESSELIA, and two unidentified pokemon called ZACIAN and ZAMAZETA.

Eva Morales and luka chêne was able to deduce the answer was DARKRAI due to its classification. for reasons unknown, luka chêne claims to have a heavy investment into DARKRAI and CRESSELIA.

we determined as a group to select the correct answer. for reason unknown, an individual decided to otherwise. we do not know if this was done maliciously.

since the group picked the correct answer, an UNNAMED FILE was provided. under the pretense of an incorrect answer, maldacena recreated the HOOPA’S ARENA where i first encountered DARKRAI.

we had to defeat ZACIAN, ZAMAZETA, DAKRAI, and CRESSELIA. if this battle reflect the pokemon’s real abilities, it can be surmised that CRESSELIA has potent healing abilities, and that the unknown legendary pokemon are competent at PHYSICAL COMBAT.

TERMINAL 3: ULTRA BEAST

the following is an account from kyle lopez .

the prompt at TERMINAL 2 was to identify the ultra beast that would complete the pattern. the choices were KARTANA, CELESTEELA, BLACEPHALON, GUZZLORD, <unknown>, and NAGANADEL.

kyle lopez was able to deduce the answer was XURKITREE through the ultra beast’s codenames.

this group was also provided an UNNAMED FILE. kyle lopez believes these files were unnamed due to an incorrect answer.

this terminal was faced with the MAUVILLE WARFRONT. they were attacked by XURKITREE and POIPOLEs.

THE FILES

upon activating the terminals, everyone was returned to a central location. the next prompt asked for the files in a specific order.

below is a recreation of the files:

FILE01: the orange represents the dome around hoenn.
FILE02: our dimension dying.
FILE03: other dimensions moving into the place of where our dimension was.
FILE04: dimensions impacting. this will continue to happen across all dimensions.

ORIGIN POINT CAUSES: mega evolution. extradimensional traversal. avatars. anomalies.

maldacena claims that the STAR SOIREE and the early litleonids are proof. our dimension is overlapping with other dimensions and therefore they are all out of place. the fact we were able to visit THE CLOUD is ‘proof’. it should also be noted that UNOWN are related to THE CLOUD.

he does not know what the ORIGIN POINT is. however, the fact that hoenn is affecting galar makes him confident in his theory.

after explaining this to him, a THIRD SCAN is complete. these SCANS seem to have siphoned data away from us. it has adverse affect on individuals which range from changing their personalities (an omission of memories) to missing pieces. likewise, pokemon seem to have lost their ABILITIES.

TEAM ROCKET

prior to heading to the next set of terminals, i was able to identify Cillian Quinn. in an attempt to apprehend him, several individuals proceeded to obstruct and interfere. it is unknown whether this was due to changes afflicted by the SCAN, rocket sympathy, or even secretly being a part of team rocket.

those involved Locke Jamison, owner of DELIBIRD DELIVERIES, an unknown child, Martín del Mar, two unknown trainers, and Katherine Fairburne.

and while luka chêne and illeana reyes took no part, they also shared their sympathies and showed no regard for the presence of team rocket.

kyle lopez and MATIAS SILPH provided assistance but we could not apprehend or eliminate rocket members Cillian Quinn and Lulu Flint due to the aforementioned interference. it should be noted that the attempt to capture these rockets had no effect on those present. it in no way stopped them from continuing onto the other terminals, as many others did. those mentioned chose to interfere and put themselves into the small skirmish that arose.

TERMINAL 4: PAST

Eva Morales was the only person we could identify as a member of TERMINAL 4. the following is taken from her statements and her own reports.

TERMINAL 4 seemed to have taken place in space. a staircase was presented to them and upon following it they were presented with a certain pattern of sigils. from her memory, Eva Morales remembers an array of circles and a triangle in the center.

she believes she spotted an unidentified pokemon. based on her description, it has an ethereal form. gaseous, not unlike ghastly, but at a level that extends beyond comprehension. perhaps based on space dust?

within the sigils were four eggs. UNOWN surrounded these eggs. they hatched into a GIRATINA, an unknown purple and pink pokemon, along with pokemon the seem to resemble our understanding of DIALGA and PALKIA. while Eva Morales’s description is far off from our current understanding of these pokemon, given the context of the situation, we believe them to be the same pokemon or closely related.

TERMINAL 5: PRESENT

kyle lopez claims this terminal presented hoenn isolated from the world. DIALGA and PALKIA were seemingly attempting to correct hoenn through the use of their abilities. however, golden hands bound them before also attacking those present. UNOWN also attacked those present.

from his understanding of the terminal, ULTRA SPACE serves as a layer between dimensions. it is possible that DIALGA and PALKIA are confined or will be confined in the short term future. this would explain why ULTRA SPACE cannot be accessed.

TERMINAL 6: FUTURE

this terminal presented a hoenn filled with dead bodies. among the dead pokemon and humans were spears of light. these spears could be found in several legendary pokemon which include but are not limited to:

• XERNEAS
• KYOGRE
• GROUDON
• ZEKROM
• ARTICUNO
• YVELTAL
• SHADOW LUGIA
• HO-OH
• GIRATINA
• RESHIRAM
• DARKRAI
• TAPU BULU
• TAPU KOKO
• TAPU LELE

• UXIE
• MESPRIT
• HOOPA (big)

meteors began to fall upon our entry. we escaped before they could eliminate us. however, i believe it is implied that the universe ends with the meteor’s explosion.

EXIT

at this point, maldacena revealed that while he wants hoenn to survive for his own amusement he has not cut ties with the DARK TRIAD. it is presumed that he still holds ties to them, officially, and needs an alibi.

he required 10 individuals to stay behind. THE CLOUD could not handle transporting everyone present. we have no proof that this claim was true.

it should be noted that illeana reyes, DEREK HOFFMAN, oscar clayton, Thomas Benoit, Alexei Ivanov, was willing to sacrifice themselves. it is highly advised that reyes, hoffman, and ivanov to undergo a psychological analysis should they continue their positions and we, the league, expect to rely on them in the future.

FOOTNOTE

unrelated to this, it appears Martín del Mar may have some involvement with THE CLOUD. at this time, his involvement with the UNOWN and the UNOWN REPORT have become concerning enough to arouse suspicion. to my understanding, he has contributed many entries and claims to have a large swathe of UNOWN. what part this has to play, or if it was mere coincidence, remains to be seen.

prior to being transported out, it seems the system had a specific interaction with him. THE CLOUD seemed to have encountered a SYSTEM FAILURE that was reversed after an interaction with mr. del mar.

considering his position and possible influence in hoenn and recent events, i believe it is imperative to keep a watch on this individual to prevent situations similar to Balder Schwartz.

"because the league, for all its faults, is still an establishment that abides by some notion of accountability. it is easy to call for change but to usher it, through practiced means and with due diligence, is a task most can never ass themselves to do. to label the league as an organization that needs to be ousted, while positions of power remain open and therefore open to change, highlights their negligence.

once upon a time, i too disagreed with the league and its conduct. which is why i am now apart of it, correcting what i can, where i can. it is an arduous and frustrating task but to do anything less is nothing but short sighted selfishness."

TIME IS NOT A PRISON. it is freedom. an opportunity to sever the restrictions that come with countless obligations. it is the chance to deep dive into obsession.

the notion that their bondage to this realm is paramount to punishment is forbidden in ballonea’s observatory. this sacred place becomes his home. an abode with singular purpose–to understand this plague and what was done to overcome this disaster.

outside of their innate survival, nothing else matters. it reminds him of his childhood. when he refused to be a SILPH. simple times when the world was truly his cloyster.



routines are early to abide by at first:

prepare for battle. remain vigilant. always ready for the next attack. and, when the battle subsides for a brief respite, that’s when fernando finds them time to eat and sleep. always done hastily. never too far from being deployed.

that’s all there is to life. eat. sleep. fight. whether that means on ground zero, or in anticipation of it, his life is beholden to that ritual. it shows in the way he steers clear of aaron faust and illeana reyes’s coronation. how he never really engages with the peasantry like Gwyar Wledig tries to do.

not unless it has something to do with DYNAMAXing.

after all, why bother?

that’s what they’re here for. the selfless ‘heroes’ of yore.

in the same mindset of Katherine Fairburne, he becomes a recluse. but he’s not a fabled witch reduced to rare sightings. he becomes a different type of mad. an eccentric scientist who resorts to primitive methods of unraveling the truth.

he works priam conrad like a dog but the boy does not buckle. truly unfortunate that his services are wasted on the wrong side.



kill the pokemon before it can revert from DYNAMAX. feed it the ALTERED MUSHROOMS. what happens when a pokemon ingest toxic residue?

there is no limit to what fernando is willing to test. after all, ‘this isn’t real.’ as long as it does not affect those sucked into this realm, then they should be fine. the rest of them? mere NPCs, as kyle lopez would call them.

but they have a part to play. it’s their perspective that will set them free, he decides. will it be the gallant efforts of Greyson Connors and Gwyar Wledig? or is the compassionate tale of Johanna Joy a more compelling tale?



it takes months to understand the CALYREX’s words. the lack of affirmation–the fact they are still here, waiting–stirs doubt. makes him backtrack as he contradicts himself in due time. but as long as the parchment last, he writes down his notes. the OBSERVATORY NOTES become a jumbled mess of several writers. the queen, illeana reyes, has her own contributions to them.

no matter where they disagree, some points become obvious.

when NECROZMA attacks, seeking out the POWER SPOT, how could they not see the resemblance to their version of the DARKEST DAY? what other details lie in this lost piece of history.

were the ULTRA BEAST in MOSSDEEP DYNAMAXed as well? what is the connection between ULTRA SPACE and GALAR?



but routines cannot be infinite. even the strongest wills require variance. the joy of pleasure: the body, the mind, and the soul.

some look for companionship. fernando is not one of them. as long as there is work, he is content. able to focus his attention fully into an endless vacuum. then weakness of the body can be handled by his own hands.

but it is francie myrtle who wears him down. constant visits. constant babbling. the way her sunshine smile erodes over the years does not escape his notice. but it sets having melted through his standoffish exterior. breaking him in a way that repeats his past.

on some nights, priam conrad can hear the rustling. the frantic way they tuck deep into the observatory to try and sully each other before the city bell’s ring for a new attack. fernando silph, is not a man who spares even a minute on something that is not the future. his love life is the same.

and, with few choices, they are okay with that. making the best of what they have.

love does not have to be perfect. just fulfilling. something he can never be but that’s what relationships are. partners filling in for the other when one fall shorts.

that’s his francie myrtle. able to see the man hiding behind the machine that no one else does.



not all companionship has to be romantic. or with people. pokemon are trusted partners. creatures who sacrifice time and time again as they march into battle. among them, his ZYGARDE proves the most enigmatic. he knows very little about it–nor does anyone else–but time builds an understanding.

what exactly is it?

a pokemon worthy of a SYGNA SUIT bond but unable to. truly perplexing.



it should come as no surprise that fernando does not engage in direct attacks. he remains in his ivory tower, always the observer. looking for where the pokemon came from. what behavior they exhibit this time. how he can change them by manipulating these ‘heroes’ like chess pieces.

when NECROZMA arrives, he too takes a back seat. the only time he wades in is when the darkness proves too blinding.

when Gwyar Wledig’s blacksmithing company creates his own weapon, he merely scoffs.
