Maybe not the strongest looking of contendors, Jayden found himself on the BLUE TEAM. How he got himself into the tournament was a surprise in itself — likely having to do with someone else finding him and dragging him up for the sign ups, or simply just finding himself at the wrong place at the wrong time. However, despite the faint bruising on his person, and his lean, somewhat-slight body, Jayden was actually much stronger than appearances let on. After all, he hadn't trained under Team Rocket for absolutely nothing.
[break][break] Fingers tightened alongside the rope as he gave a hearty tug, feet digging into the sandy ground beneath. His light, summer jacket lay abandoned on the beach floor, leaving his body scars and back tattoo for the world to see. The sun burned on his back, lighting the shapes of a ravenous wolf devouring a raven alongst his trapezius muscles and scapula.
[break][break] Voice so soft, that it barely carried on the breeze, he directed his own pokemon of choice: "Give them a distraction, Lampe." The Chandelure beside him raised it's form, flames flickering in the sunlight, as it's body glowed to IMPRISON the Red Team.

“Ugh!” a heavy yank pulled her team forward but from somewhere an opposing force stopped an real progress. They were neck and neck but still had a lot of fight left in them. Lex took the opportunity to readjust her grip. Gritting her teeth she summoned her Tauros over with a swift jerk of her head. The bull stomped the ground and snorted, “Let’s give our team a quick jolt of energy, yea?” Nitro reared up, landing with a thud. Electricity crackled along his brown fur in sharp snaps before he barreled forward in a WILD CHARGE to spark life back into the Red Team.

"Ready to eat dirt, Sarge?"
Doug clicked his tongue as he saw something moving through the coiled rope, eyes narrowing.
