Admittedly it wasn't a bad haul. The first dive-in was soothing enough. She had gone back up for air and kept what she had found in a pouch for quick storage. While taking a few breaths at the surface, she looked down at the clear, crisp seawater below her.

Their last dive had resulted in quite a generous bounty. Needless to say, Cade was eager to continue that lucky streak the next day. This time, they found a secluded little cover to the east of the beach.

Just as before, the blonde would find a rocky ledge to dive off of before taking hold of his Dewgong's horn. Now he could hold his breath about ten seconds longer than his previous record. If he did this enough, he thought to himself, he might even grow gills someday.

After catching her breath, Luka's ready for another dive. This time, she manages to keep her eyes open under the salty water for much longer as they search for something good, poking amongst fronds of seaweed and being careful not to disturb any Corsola in their rummaging.[break][break]

Their next find is hidden underneath a jutting rock. Luka sticks her hand in indiscriminately and pulls back just as quickly, almost sacrificing one of her fingers to a pinching Krabby claw! She and her Milotic hurry out of there as the crab emerges from his hiding hole, irately shaking a claw at them.[break][break]

After missing landing back on the Mantine and cannonballing into the sea, Resheph was quick to pick Josh up and take him on another trip to the sunken coral fields on the opposite side of the beach. This time, though, he took his time, making a complete lap around the inside before he found a curved object that was to his liking. His Dragonair would have to weave through a messy reef to get to it, though!

Now he felt way less likely to spontaneously mcfucking die in the middle of some high pitched combat. How did a soggy old berry give him such feelings of invincibility? Frankly, he just didn't know.[break][break]

Still, if a strategy worked, he wasn't about to think twice. Once more, Isaac scaled down that faraway cliff. Once more, Isaac launched Dhelmise towards the nearest promising target. And once more, once he'd gotten there, he quickly scrambled to take his prize. And, holy shit! Look at how big that pearl was! Isaac was gonna be rich! Rich, I tell ya! He pumped a fist in the air victoriously, holding the incredible find aloft.[break][break]

Then a blur rushed past and his treasure was gone. Isaac looked over his shoulder just in time to see his on-again, off-again associate, Hank Winters, making off with the pearl. He turned around while still clinging to his rapidly-pedaling Remoraid, shooting Isaac an L on his forehead with his fingers. God damnit, Hank.[break][break]

Oh well. At least there was something else that looked pretty cool in the sands. Isaac stooped down to pick up his consolation prize.[break][break]
