Josh snuck a peck on Izumi's cheek when the kids weren't looking, currently occupied by the eb and flow of the line. Of course they were a touch more concerned when a Sharpedo would show up, but it was quickly subdued by the nearby Raichu.

Though Josh's fishing spot was secluded, on its own it did not yield the biggest Water-types in the ocean. His Dragonair helped to change that, though; she flailed about the water's surface with her AQUA TAIL, creating a large disturbance he hoped would attract fish. The racer cast his line as Resheph floated from the sea to the sky...

Happy she dredged up a very valuable treasure from the bottom of the sea, Shalin returned to her fishing spot with a different tactic; rather than fishing from a stationary location, she would cast her line from Levy's back and have the Milotic lazily swim around. She hoped the ripping from her mount's tail would attract some bigger fish...

With another Pokeball readied to temporarily hold his next catch, he maintained a firm hold of both fishing rod and line, pulling it towards himself once the latter had rendered itself taut. As the bicolored creature soared into the air from the force of the pull, he already lifted the capsule up, meeting it halfway and watching it rescind within its binds as he tapped it (as softly as possible) against its face.[break][break]

The catch happened a bit quickly.[break][break]

Regardless, however, he simply held the then-occupied Pokeball within his palm for a moment, only setting it aside once ensuring that the creature within laid dormant for the moment. As it rolled along to join the rest of the aquatic beasts he'd wrangled, he took yet another bit of bait to the hook before casting it out again.[break][break]

It was so...colorful. Offensively colorful. While he, himself, had been barely short of blind without the necessary assets to aid his sight, the grimace that surfaced upon his face had been all too obvious as he held the line of his fishing pole closer. His eyes narrowed as he examined his most recent catch.[break][break]

she eyed the wishiwashi as she reeled it in, hoping a school wasn't nearby to join it. it was the demon of the sea for a reason. she'd never seen one in person, but since seeing a photo, she'd become a little more wary.

quickly, it was taken into a pokeball and tossed into a bag for now. then, she cast her line out again.

this time, she handled removing the hook, and delta cast her line out.
