There was a lot swirling through Josh's mind as he lazily cast his line from his Dragonair's back. His chase of the Beast was no longer merely personal. It was to change the future for the good of everyone in Hoenn. That was a much more fruitful motive than any personal achievement, and worth more than any material possession the world could possibly offer him. This path would put him in a great deal of danger...but something tugged at him, just like the fish to tug on his line. It was something he felt mot just civically, but morally obligated, to do.

Shalin sealed up her rare Berry after surfacing, her excitement running high to the point of bursting. She even wheeled Levy around her fishing spot frantically, the Milotic acting wild even by his rider's normal standards. She couldn't even hold her line steady afterward after she cast it. Whether all this racket and disturbance would attract a big fish or not, only time would tell.

though large, sagira quickly determined that the horsea was not an impressive enough specimen to bring in for the competition. after reeling it in, it was quickly released back to the water. her line was cast back out, rod secured before she went to continue her lunch.

Thomas looked on in awe at the Milotic he managed to reel up to the surface. Frankly, the Pokemon was a sight to behold. While not as much of a catch as the Mantine, he still couldn't help but be happy with the find. But still, he had more fishing to do, so he cast his rod into the waters again.

Shame, if he wasn’t allergic to seafood he’d have wanted to try Magikarp sashimi.

(But nothing could hold a candle to Basculin sashimi. At least, according to one of his sestras.)
