Kyurem's delivery of cryptic prophecies slowed down. What had previously been an endless twaddle was now more of a blunt, draconic decree that repeated itself over and over. With its mischievous translator gone, the meaning was inscrutable, but the general intent was somehow understood.

"Keep pressing on..." Andrea muttered under her breath. Surely the beast had grown weaker by now. The legends of other regions were on their side. A being that looked distinctly like Sinnohian depictions of Palkia had appeared near illeana reyes. Could the pearly dragon have chosen her just like Rayquaza had chosen Eva Morales last year?

First things first, they needed to get out of this chasm before it collapsed on them. Containing the recently tamed Iron Boulder into a ball, the eccentric trainer mounted her old companion once again. "Alright, Meatloaf, let's Fly outta this hole!"

Her Mega Salamence took off, zipping past hordes of Paradox Pokémon whose numbers were dwindling thanks to the efforts of Hoenn's finest. "Focus on Kyurem! Don't let it disappear too!" The dragon-riding girl shouted for anyone close enough to hear. "Meatloaf, use Defog to clear this blizzard!"

With an affirmative roar, the creature dubbed 'the blood-soaked crescent' flapped its namesake wings, blowing much of the frozen air away to hopefully give their allies a clearer shot at the colossal dragon of fire and ice.

A hazy recollection of the white-haired woman standing by the deity of space briefly entered her mind's eye, piecing together a memory of meeting her back in Petalburg City under far different circumstances, and then the mental file of one Head Scientist illeana reyes of the League.[break][break]

The same doubt that entered THEO BECKETT's mind entered hers, and she felt her heart sink.[break][break]

This did not bode well at all. She loathed the idea of someone with Zev Harcourt's level of power on the opposing side.

as she reached out, the iron crown prepared to skewer her, but was knocked into by her marshadow’s shadow punch as it reappeared. she quickly tossed a pokeball, taking one of the interdream zone’s monsters for herself, as she had sworn not to.[break][break]

the sound of a cosmic bomb shattering the world dropped her instinctively to the ground, then. her comms were alight with tones of anger and disappointment as she looked up to see palkia, standing amongst the league, beside head professor illeana reyes .[break][break]

behind her mask, lulu smiled, given hope by its arrival, still free of the bonds placed on it by the dark triad.[break][break]

however, the absence of dialga only seemed to prove that something was still very wrong.[break][break]

she was silent on the radio, an uncharted island on the battlefield as death stained the snow around her. with a sudden idea, she began to run towards the chasm as quickly as her legs would carry.[break][break]
