So, it turned out? The Magikarp Splash was easy. In fact, as the attendant explained to her between spurious bouts of laughter, the Magikarp Splash was the HARDEST move. Which felt a little deceptive! If it was such a difficult feat, then why wasn't it called something difficult, like The Gyarados Soar?

Oh, well, she guessed they couldn't. They already had a trick named "Over-the-Gyarados" listed. But then, the Magikarp Splash was still harder? So, that meant that this trick was easier?

Perhaps it was the adrenaline, the embarrassment, or some kind of brain damage caused by her tumble into the water, but from where she was sitting atop the back of her Mantine? Mitsuru thought that made perfect sense. And so, as the next wave approached, she set out once more:

"Okay Bubbles, let's try this again... OVER THE GYARADOS!"

they'd executed the twist perfectly. he'd landed sqaure on fisk's back, flat-footed and steady. lam could sort of understand now why mantine were good for flying - it was the same exact feeling, only over the water.[break][break]

so with that in the bag, it was no surprise that they'd come back for more. "Okay, just like yesterday," he coached the mantine as they drifted out to catch their next wave. Things...did not go as planned. Ash crashed into the water with the Mantine flying into the sky. Thankfully, as someone from Alola, he was an adept swimmer. Going up to break the waves, he saw his Mantine coming towards him, stopping within arm's reach. Crawling back on, the red head waited for another wave. He saw a low wave that would be ideal for the Primarina Twist. So he went for it. Getting some speed, and then some air, he front flipped twice. Then quickly slid over to the left wing, and attempted to backflip onto the center of the Mantine. It was a tougher trick, he felt like he was up for it!

The trick of course fails and Raziel is forced to wipe the water from his face as the Mantine steadies them again. It was clearly a mistake to allow salem to be the one to drive this thing, and yet here he was. The cat for his part just giving his trainer his most innocent grin., "Aero how about you try?" he offers the froakie, "Maybe something easier?"

Though it seems that aero was on the same page as salem as it calls for the same move, and Razz just braces himself as he attempts the MAGIKARP SPLASH splash again.

Though face down and drowning on the water, John was nonetheless perfectly able of hearing Yuina Higashi's feeble return taunts, feeling the fire ignite inside his belly as he slowly raised his gaze up to her, eyes narrowing.

"Clever girl." He said, watching her eat another wave as he rose above his mantine, stretching his neck dramatically. "Alright, that's enough warming up. Now we do it for real this time!"

He had to redeem himself. Starmie 720 wouldn't cut it anymore. He had to aim higher— go to the limit.
