Eva Morales ’s frosting-stache was just disarming enough for Locke to return a shy wave. The starstruck shock settled down as a warm hand clasped their shoulder. "Disturbing her's fine. you won't die, I promise. A selfie's a much better souvenir than a zoomed in pic for your dad too."

Locke looked back down at the half-finished text on his Pokénav screen, the blurry photo attached staring back at him. He deleted the message and resolved to get a better one by the end of the picnic.

The announcement of an egg hunt briefly held Locke’s attention, before returning to kyle lopez . "Anything else you need so, you know, you don't look like a stalker?" They gave a nervous chuckle, still a bit embarrassed, but shook their head. “Thank you sir, but no. Please, enjoy the rest of your day.”

Dr. Morales seemed to be eagerly participating in the egg hunt with a blonde boy around their age. The Champion had said she wouldn’t mind being disturbed, but…Well, maybe they’d catch her when she wasn’t busy enjoying the picnic’s many games.

Something cold pressed against his cheek, pulling Locke out his head. De-De had appeared beside him, covered in leaves, and produced a small soda from her tail, which she was rather insistently shoving into his hands. He accepted it with an exasperated sigh, trying not to think about where she’d obtained the drink.

Having been averse to human interaction for most of her life, Lilith should have known better than to allow herself to join any sort of festival or event again. And yet, here she stands under the vivid shades of blooming pink, her eyes drawn to the sheer beauty of it all as she gingerly reaches out to catch a singular falling petal.

Just a few metres away, Yule and Eclipse find themselves prancing and tumbling through fields of flowers, scolded by a wary bleat from Rubia as Hex sways on the Wooloo's back. Though Lilith's never been one to enjoy such outings, she knows that she melts under the slightest hint of pressure from her companions, opening her heart to each and every experience just so she can treasure every moment they share together.

Even as they avoid the eyes of the public gathering and keep to their own little corner, the girl can't exactly help but notice a familiar face within the crowd - Rowan Wrynn and… two others? One female and one male… She squints at the fellow, readily latching onto every detail of his appearance as she takes it down for future reference.

So that's the guy, huh? She's a little quick at jumping to conclusions but her heart is in somewhat the right place. As long as he doesn't seem to be hurting him, nor is he outwardly up to no good, Lilith supposes a blessing is in order. Gently whistling to her 4 companions, the girl silently meanders over, tapping Rowan on the back as she greets him with a small wave and a sly look.

"Hello… The cat really didn't take long to claw itself out of the bag, huh?"

Baked goods were not really Roach’s thing. Put a steak on a stick and plop it in a strong bloody mary and the man would be happier, but… this wasn't half bad.

Betty the Mandibuzz smacked her beak, dropping bits of donut onto the man’s shoulder and the modest brim of his hat while struggling not to choke on her treat. Boomer the Cubone waddled along beside them, not having taken a bite of his own yet. It would be savored on a nice patch of grass when they landed.

It didn’t take long to decide on the perfect spot. Antisocial vibes and boundaries be damned, Xander Belmont would hear his boss.

“Well I’ll be, Xan. Ya can do more ‘n pour a beer.”

Behind him beamed the good-natured smile of an unshaved asshole sipping his coffee. He plopped down in the grass and assessed the unfinished work with a scrutinizing gaze, clueless to any disrespect. Boomer, who Xander would surely recognize from work, waved his donut at the redhead excitedly before sitting close and nibbling at his sugarsnack.

The youth grins, patting his hands dry on the thigh of his pants. "Want a soda or something?" He asks Eva Morales . "I'll be quick!"

Returning with what he'd set out to grab, the blonde sips happily at a Teddiursa-inspired iced coffee. He releases the drink from this long, greedy sip with a satisfied 'ahh' as Raya leaps onto his shoulder. The masked Pikachu demands he share, but is refused with a wave from her partner's hand. She proceeds to pull at his cheek with her paw as consequence, but it is largely ignored as Sigmund regards Eva with an energetic smile.

"Looks like they're setting up some kind of race soon. Thinking about taking part?" He inquiries, plucking one of the cookies garnishing his drink before begrudgingly handing it to his masked critter. He normally didn't feed into that behaviour, but today they were at a festival. It was cute seeing Raya nibble away at the cookie anyway.

Sadge, melody didnt get to win in the first event. Some people seemed to find rather large eggs in this hunt! She went back to the main area and presented her objective anyways and then decided to partake in the iced teddiursa coffee! It was absolutely delicious and cute! Melody however began to despair as she realized she hadn't really taken a picture of her coffee before she began to drank it and lost out on the cute photo opporunity. She frowned at herself, she had to take pictures of these memories for her fans! They would be super interested to know what she's doing and maybe bring some more attention to this event! Well maybe not as it seemed it was already doing super well so far. She looked around and saw so many familiar faces but she decided to just be lowkey and chill out instead of drawing attention to herself. She scooted off to the outer area of where people were hanging out and simply people watched the entire time.

Though watching Skyler is making him nervous as it looks like any second she is about to fall until she calls for someone? "Opal?" he seems confused at first before the Carbink comes into view. Prism seems to take interest in the rock as the shiny 'meowstic' jumps off his trainer's shoulder as they look at the rock. They look excited at first before they bounce a bit before transforming into a shiny Carbink to copy the other. [break][break]

There is a small panic as the other drops herself, though he doesn't know why. She is usually fine just like she is now as she moves to ruffle his hair. The Ranger just runs his hand through his hair as if to fix it up, "Not today no, took it off to try and allow the pokemon a chance to have some fun," he gestures toward the now Carbink before toward the field where Salem and Whis were.

Eva finished her cupcake in a few more bites, trying her best to wipe away the blue residue that lightly stained her lips from the frosting. Blade was displeased with the doctor’s tease. Instead he used psychic to draw a colorful eye out of the tree and right into Eva’s hands. The doctor inspected the treat with a grin, breaking it open to retrieve the pokeball within, “Show off,” The pokeball was tucked in her pocket for later.

“Oh! Sure, an ICED COFFEE sounds delicious!” A doctor had a hard time saying know to caffeine. It was hard to make it through school without it!

“Thank you so much!” she smiled as she took the coffee from @sigmund, “I’m Eva, by the way,” The doctor bit her tongue and refrained from saying anything as the mouse pokemon nibbled on a human cookie. Special occasion, right?

Eva grinned at the thought of a race. The doctor was quite competitive and certainly wasn’t shy about it, “Heck yea!” she nodded, sipping away at her coffee, the caffeine buzz already settling the anxiety and tension her research had brought.

Notes: Eva chooses the TEDDIURSA ICED COFFEE like the true caffeine addict she is.

"Hey Sere'." Hopefully she liked that nickname, because it was going to stick. "Neither did I."

And he wasn't entirely sure, but Adrian didn't recall introducing Serena and Rowan, and yet they'd known each other's names handily. Peculiar.

Introducing everyone was Serena's prerogative, and only once she finished would he be able to interject: "Hi. Pleasure." Adrian was curt to the point of almost being rude, demonstrating characteristically poor manners. Any hands offered to him would be shaken, and if none, he would casually stuff them into his pockets after a brief introductory gesture of his dominant hand.

"We've just got started, actually, so nothing yet." Adrian hadn't exactly planned the trip, so he and Rowan were simply walking the grounds at a leisurely pace. Serena ended up offering something to eat, although Adrian reflexively declined. "Thanks, but I'm hoping to try a little bit of everything while we're here. Can't have a full stomach, or I'll start puking rainbows."

He'd tug on Rowan's side, coddling them closer against his hip. "I meant the popcorn." Just then someone approached Rowan, seemingly familiar with them, uttering something faintly. Another friend of Rowan's? He remained wary, if only for the fact he distrusted most people.

"Checks out." Doug said, throwing it into his bag before making his way to the snack bar, ordering some Teddiursa themed Ice Coffee.

Drink in hand, he turned around before reclining against the place, observing the many things going on around the park. From the many pokemon robbing people of their meals to the many meetings going on.

"Nnneat." He said simply, feeling no compulsion to approach anyone. He didn't feel much of anything, for reasons he couldn't quite explain. Could mental exhaustion do that?

Turning his gaze to his Scyther as she approached, he lowered his drink down so she could sip from the straw.

"Maybe we should just go back to the base, eh?" He said.

Gavin's halfway through the can of cola, the carbonation making his eyes water as he wasn't usually one to indulge these kinds of drinks, when Zac Ramsay mentions something about a ban.

He pauses mid-swig, blond brows disappearing beneath his bangs. Though he doesn't speak through a mouthful of cola, his expression is clear enough: You weren't going to tell me that before I drank it?! They're interrupted mid-explanation, and Gavin shifts his focus to Bulu for a time. It seemed like relaxed legendary in comparison to others Gavin had 'met'; absently, he hopes never to face it on the battlefield, though this is more for Chu-e Choi's sake than his own. His colleague was evidently close to Ramsay and if they could avoid facing off against any of the League's avatars, it would only be to Rocket's benefit. They had far fewer of their own, and most of them not known to the public.

Once Zac has ushered Bulu off to hunt eggs with the kids, Gavin asks, "So what do they use for coloring, exactly?"

He's since finished the cola and tossed it in a recycling bin, having replaced it with some kind of iced coffee resembling a cute Teddiursa.

Chu-e is pleased that his food seems to be a hit. Soon enough, there is a veritable crowd around the area, centering mainly on Zac Ramsay but sticking because of the promise of free grub. For all his efforts, though, Chu-e himself isn't that hungry today. He just absently nibbles on a cookie and sips on a bottle of lemonade.

Sprinkles whines from where she had been perched on Bulu, hopping down when the larger pokemon moves to go participate in the egg hunt. She decides to finish out her nap on the next best thing- which is Zac himself. Soon, he will find himself bend to her will and covered in cat hair. All will be right in the world.

"Glitch! Come get some food." He motions to all the food sat around the blankets and quickly being picked through. "You already know Zac and Patty? Well, this is Oscar! He helped me rob a casino!" He laughed at that, grinning at oscar clayton since he would be in on the joke. Which, the story was true, but surely no one would believe it? Right?

About that time, Muse walked back over, the Machamp has a basket of broken eggs, her strength just having been too much for the egg hunt, and someone had put a pair of bright yellow bunny ears on her head. She sat at the edge of the crowd and sipped on a Brionne Soda she had been given, placing the single empty pokeball in the basket to take back home.

glitch settles in nicely, laying his head on Chu-e Choi 's lap so that he can relax some. sipping on the soda that had been so nicely handed out to them. "you have a lot more friends than i thought!" but it was meant as a casual dig, between friends. the single pokeball he had managed to win from the egg hunt rested on his bag. at least it wasn't nothing that was good, right? he'd managed to at least get this. and... maybe spending time out here wasn't the worst thing in the world either. not when he had good food and at least one friend to share it with. "that's okay, you might have robbed a casino but patty is my dead beat baby daddy." he wasn't going to elaborate further on that, just laugh to let everyone know that it was a joke.

as his zeraora returns with a handful of eggs the poor thing didn't quite look happy with its haul of eggs. probably because as it was collecting them it slowly came to realize that they were in fact not real eggs. guess he was really hoping to eat them rather than actually participate in a fun game. "you want a pick me up buddy?" kaz offered an ice tea shaped like a cute little teddiursa to his zeraora who perked up at the sight of it and took it off his trainer's hands to enjoy. the sugary sweetness of it sure did put a smile on his face.

There are two spots of color on Skyler's cheeks, growing redder by the second as the ship captain hangs upside down from the tree branch. Razz's comment prompts a sly smile to curl her lips, the gesture looking decidedly stranger upside down.

As if in silent rebellion, she grasps the peach still in her hand and takes a big bite out of it. "Well, you could've caught it." Although there doesn't seem to be anything apologetic in her tone, she still ruffles Razz's hair for a bit longer than strictly necessary. Only in part to annoy him.

"I never thought I'd see the day. Razz Kingsman, workaholic extraordinaire, taking a day off." She mimes looking up at the sky with narrowed, suspicious eyes - doing her best to smother the teasing grin pulling at her lips. "Is the end of days coming or something?"

Sure, Razz hadn't mentioned anything about himself having fun, but that's what Skyler was here for anyway if she had anything to say about it.

In the meanwhile, Opal bumps into its new fairy friend, a cacophony of strange trills erupting from the pokemon in lieu of conversation. Morelul seizes the chance to hop onto the grass - and if she could've sighed in relief, she would've.

Captain Dross's silver eyes are curious as they focus on the food her buddy had brought. "Watcha got there?" And is there some for me? Skyler, being Skyler, hadn't actually brought anything. Including money to buy food with.

But hey, at least she has some peaches. And a friend to mooch off of. He still owed her lunch after all.
