Receiving a call from dispatch about an anomaly taking place in Petalburg, the mention of Unown caused Derek to shoot out of the room he'd been renting nearby. Adorning the ranger attire, his arrival on the scene certainly wasn't as timely as he would've hoped for. Many others were there, some succeeding as they tried their hand at capturing the otherworldly pokemon. Singling one out, his sights were set on the same goal, throwing a pokeball in hopes of snagging one for himself. IosGtSd_ P  |

  How he managed to cross from one section of the region to another without the wheelchair was astounding, but he had to do it without @mattis seeing him or otherwise finding out he’d been going on sojourns without it. He was sure he was going to get another earful from the bluenette when he found out, though, however this was—something important to him, if not alarming. “What the hell,” he hissed, leaning on the cane and making sure not to put so much pressure on his right leg as he watched the swirling, demonic-looking letters hiver and spin around. He was reminded of Ruby Walker’s own ‘miniature alphabet soup’ collection; however some of those were blue. Were they shiny? Just like a pirate, he then saw a mysterious “X” hovering close to where he stood. “Like… marking the spot?” he said with an exasperated sigh, before trying to capture the “X” that was looking at him with its singular, beady eye. The burnt scarred man got a report of strange happenings in petalburg city. And much like everyone else, he too flocked to see what was going on. Warm orbs widened at the sight, feeling the mysterious device in his pockets vibrate as he got closer. He swallowed hard, remembering the last time things started to get hairy back at his former home. But in this region, things seemed to be worse. But despite the warning signs, the trainer couldn’t help his curiosity. He moved closer, noticing faint symbols and signs flashing all around him. Was this the dooms day warning?  |

Things like L and P and O were pretty easy to pick out. Others though… Like, that U was closer to an upside-down M than the W. A couple floated by that were supposed to be V’s, but just looked like kettlebells to him. Never mind whatever G had going on. Ok, all of these letters were starting to make Locke’s head spin. Better catch one quick, before their brain turned into alphabet soup. They pulled out an empty Pokéball, setting their sights on one that looked a bit like a Y. Or maybe like a chicken leg? With horns? Everyone was collecting these things lately. Killian might not have had the reporting device, but that didn't mean he couldn't help out. He always enjoyed a cipher or riddle. Rearranging the letters of an anagram to figure out the codeword keeping you from hidden secrets gave such a rush of serotonin. TAGGING @swarm  pokkenger raced through the streets of petalburg at night following the strange cloud. these strange pokemon had never been seen before in such a large group so curiosity got the better of him while he was out patrolling. looking at the cluster of them he swore he could make out the letter A constantly looking back at him like it was checking to see if he was still behind them, it was a really weird thing to notice but he had seen stranger things, especially the ones that looked like punctuation symbols. now those kind of unown were really well...unknown. so with a pokeball in hand he tossed one into the horde, hoping to strike gold somewhere and perhaps buy a vowel with the experience this swarm would give him. Unown in Petalburg?! Eva couldn’t believe it . . . until she saw it. The black wave flexed and pulse like one living being. It is stunning, far grader than what she expected.
