Laughing about the successful trick, perhaps it was starting to get to him a little bit. Ash was feeling good. Ash was getting arrogant. And so the next hardest trick was up for him. Over the Gyardos. Extremely tough to do, there was still one trick harder than that. Moving fast up forward, he started up with a backflip, then a right roll, front flip, and then he himself was launched up with a roll. Hopefully the landing was good...

And promptly missed the Mantine entirely and slammed into the water.

By now, Josh had a rock-solid grasp on how to execute the first half of the STARMIE 720. He took his time waiting for a large wave to come his way before casting off from the dock and racing toward it, shooting up the watt of water and twisting his Mantine into a spin. He had plenty of torque to complete the quick two rotations. It was just a matter of him not falling this time.

it shouldn't really be a question on how many times kyle is willing to do it, but how many times does he need to try in order to perfect the move.

he gets on the mantine again after the last try. another magikarp splash shouldn't be too hard given that a lot of people have already done it. he's not special, but it shouldn't be a too difficult of a trick if there's more than three people that have already achieved such feat.

with another try, he attempts the trick.
