GOOD TIDINGS WE BRING

In the aftermath of 99943 Meteno, life goes on amidst recovery. With reconstruction efforts in full swing and a flurry of activity, the resilience of the people who call the Hoenn region home is evident: this too will pass.[break][break]

And with that, the holidays are just around the corner! Despite everything that had happened, the local folks find time to put a pep in their step in time for the holiday season. For this year, though, the little gaggle of six Delibird that are often sighted around eastern Hoenn are overwhelmed due to the massive pile of presents that need delivering—[break][break]

Delibird Deliveries (run by Locke Jamison) comes to the rescue! Each and every Delibird (yes, there’s a blue ‘Delibird’ there as well but shh, we don’t discriminate) on duty gets their own little Santa hat with their name sewn into the front so everyone knows who’s who.[break][break]

It’s a flurry of activity as the red-and-white avians run around all over Hoenn to deliver the gifts to where they have to go, no matter what world-ending event, as the Delibird Deliveries motto states:[break][break]

“We’ll delivery any package through rain, sleet or wormhole!”

DETAILS

» The event can be IC for your character or OOC, depending on how you want to handle the gift-giving festivities.[break][break]

» Much like last year, sign-ups are simple: this is a one-character per writer event! Should there be an odd number of participants, I will be stepping in to cover the extra(s)![break][break]

» Everyone will be contacted once sign-ups close with their gift recipient.[break][break]

» For the wish list, try to make it as general as possible should your specific wish prove tricky to acquire! Giving a general theme can also lead your Secret Santa in the correct direction of what you would want to receive.[break][break]

» Sky’s the limit should you want to give more than one present to your recipient, of course! #goodvibes

TIMELINE

» To make sure that everyone gets their presents on time, we’ll be following a general timeline![break][break]

Here’s the schedule for the event:[break][break]

December 1 to 7: Sign-ups open (prepare your wallets)[break][break]

December 8 to 19: (watch the money fly out of your wallet) Go shopping for your Secret Santa![break][break]

December 20 onwards: Present exchange time![break][break]

» Do try to get the gifts in on or before December 25; once you’ve delivered your gift, let me know so that I can keep track of who has already sent their gifts! On the off-chance that someone hasn’t received their gift: never fear, for the Elves™ are here to save the day![break][break]
