Just as with the dunk tank, diving for pearls feels a bit like deja vu.[break][break]

But the water is wonderful and refreshing, and she's feeling far more casual about everything this time around. Floating lazily on the back of her Milotic, Luka reaches for the first shiny thing she sees glistening in the water, and hopes it's not another Pokeball this time around.[break][break]

He'd skipped a few days to attend to some personal matters. The pressure of being crown prince and an ex-Rocket was returning once more. But taking another dive was sure to take his mind off things for a while.

So, needless to say, he dusts off the old diving equipment and takes a boat out from the coast of SLATEPORT CITY. Then, as quickly as possible, he takes that plunge to the bottom of the ocean floor to try his luck at finding treasure.

Josh gasped for air as he hit the surface, with some kind of CD in hand. Seriously, how did these things even survive being submerged? All he could remember was the hundreds of Clamperl that had decided to clamp onto him, and quite painfully at that. He wasn't quite sure if he wanted to go through that again. And yet here he was, taking another dive into the Clamperl pond.

That was a very pretty, glimmering shard of some kind that Yuina dug out of a little bit of sand, and she was sure that she had something like that already that was a piece that she could put together... Huh.

Now that he had two of them, he was deliberating on either letting them go back to the murky waters… or to keep them as his own.

The funny thing about this was that the two that were currently sitting next to the bucket that had all the shiny stuff he’d found underwater so far looked to be getting along just fine, and so separating them would be a crime…

“Alright, you two win,” he chuckled quietly as he slapped the goggles back on and went down again for another dive.

their last find had been more interesting than the rest of the haul at least. another strange shard, the same as those that had been found in the space-time distortions. she wondered why only the blue color seemed to be found in the water. perhaps red could be found in places of heat and fire.[break][break]

she surfaced to look at the shard in the sunlight, turning it over to confirm that it was indeed no different than the others she'd collected a year ago.[break][break]

after taking a break, she soon returned to the water to continue her search.

The fact that he wanted to scratch said itch, but couldn’t, only added to his frustration.

Okay, that was the cake done.

Now it was time to wrangle the birthday boy out of hibernation and feed him cake the whole day.

To be fair, though, he’d tried making one of those other cakes that had surprise goodies in them, so he wasn’t sure if the other was going to appreciate all the chocolate and the caramel squares in them when he cut the cake open…

Either way, after applying liberal amounts of sunblock, he then took another dip into the dark, murky surf before groping around and pulling something at random.

That small piece of glass his Meowscarada carefully handed him was probably another one of those strange Shards. Guess there'd been so many distortions that these things were just lying around everywhere, enough to just laden the ocean floor with.

At least, he'd assumed this was one of those Shards. This could've just been a piece of sea glass his Meowscarada thought looked nice. He wouldn't put it past her to do that on purpose.

Today was a nice day out to dive in the ocean and see what they'll find with the Clamperl being in the caves below the water, so the royal takes her Phione with her as the little water type stays near her 'mother' to help her find the cave. After they were able to find the cave, Veyle helps to take the Clamperl with her though Elise takes it up to the surface since she saw Veyle was struggling to. Once they were up in the surface, the ambassador opens the Clamperl for the young water type to see what they gotten this time.[break][break]
