INSPIRED POKÉMON: Hatterene
INSPIRED TYPE: Fairy

Though accessory design and creation were not her strengths, Yumi possessed enough skill gained through her various workshops and classes to craft a beautiful mask for the Magnificent Funtasia.

In the style of traditional Johtonian masks, Yumi crafted a mask in the style of a Hatterene, one of her favorite Pokémon. Using subtle paints, she mimicked the Fairy-type's soft blue and pink coloration. Slits cut out for eyes were filled with special black fabric that still allowed her to see when held up to her face.

Lastly, Yumi attached a miniature version of a Hatterene's hat to the top of the mask, tilted at a jaunty angle. She affixed the mask to the front of her face and admired her work in the mirror.

Perfection, as always.

No pictures because I didn't feel like drawing it! But Temp is really close to his Zarude, Bongo, so he would think it was cute to make a mask inspired by the monkey! I picture something of a jester's mask with a few little decorations and such! Temp doesn't consider himself much of an artist.

INSPIRED POKEMON — armarouge

"You know if you asked me two years ago if I'd be wearing a fire mask at one of these uhh things I'd say you'd be crazy," Razz muses to the young teen as he works on a mask of his own. One to match Tango's as he and his little sister were out of their pokeballs to try and enjoy the festival going on. Razz thought it would be fun to have them do something matching.

It even helps that he has designed his own pokeballs before so if Eris asked for help Razz had his own crafty knowledge to make the helmet/mask pretty spot on.

Inspired Pokemon: Archen
Inspired Move: Feather Dance

Masks were among the most common historical artifacts to be salvaged from sites. They were important for all sorts of rituals. Unovans put much stock in masks belonging to Yamasks, and the Hoyeon people had a high regard for brightly feathered masks that were almost tribal in nature.

Using an almost criminally large amount of glue, feathers, and tears, Howard had strung together a mask that looked remarkably similar to those placed on the deceased in Tuzkna cutlure. In a region as sparse in resources as Orre, the deceased were given the highest honor, given their burial masks would be the final item that ever belonged to them in the mortal world.

Using an Archen as the base, and taking inspiration from the ways its feathers flapped in the wind, Howard put together a mask that was surprisingly accurate. Unfortunately for him, such a mask only held one eye socket on the right side of the mask, which was where Howard's eye was missing.

Damn. Why did he have to be so good at this? Was this what the term 'suffering from success' meant?

Putting it on to test it, Howard saw absolutely nothing. He promptly turned around and walked squarely into a wall.

Aubre wears a mask meant to honor a fallen friend. Her husband ordered it from a well-known vendor in Alto Mare. Though she'd have preferred to make something herself, and not to feel like a fat cat, she cannot deny the piece is gorgeous. Note that hers would have a Mantyke and a Mantine instead of the two fish.

Ozni's mask is meant to represent his love of technology. He can change the expression to suit his current mood. A faux glitch mechanic brings to mind technological madness. It'd be crafted in Porygon-Z colors to represent his buddy Glitch. He also considered a gold mask made of melted Pokedollars, but some stiffs thought it'd be insensitive.

Inspired Type: Fire/Fighting

This map is obviously pretty cheap, but it gets the point across. It features a Blaziken's beak and face. The former curls down over Madd's nose to rest somewhere around her lips. Stiff 'hair' flows from the back to cover her shoulders. Matching bracelets have been added to complete the look. Yakuza, meanwhile, has a matching Sceptile mask.

Nikita's night time mask is similar to this one, but this one has flesh and bone on it. Combining mythological armor with the visage of Detective Winters I, the investigator's mask represents both halves of his life. The thing was pulled out of a box that'd been saved from his house fire and left on a shelf for years.

This mask is handmade from construction paper. It's not cut very well. Golden dots circle the mask itself. Designed to resemble her daddy, it's predominantly purple and gold with a small streak of pink. The string tying it together used to be a sash from a woman's shirt. The whiskers are made of discarded wire. She really wanted a pink mask, but Daddy would be mad if he saw it.

Inspired Type: Rock

While Lydia would likely opt for some sort of valkyrie or knight, this one fits the Pokemon setting better. Minerva is her best friend and very similar to her trainer. Small accents of blue would help take this mask to the next level.
