Strumming the paintbrush that rested within her grasp against the easel, Desiree's outdoor painting session was proving to be packed full of sunlight surprises. A swarm of wild Sunflora, huh? Looking down at Goldie, the companion Sunflora beside her, he was already itching to join them as his floral base met the sun's rays- and there was no harm in that, as he had a variety of ribbons adorned upon his stem. Giving him a little pat to go have a little fun, she smiled.[break][break]

"Come back if you'd like some water, my heart~ ♡" Her voice trailed out toward her grass-type pokemon, amidst her cigarette smoke. The piece she was working on was more on the abstract scale than anything meticulous; the grace of the sunlight above touching the grass, but melded together and swirled within a hallucinogenic dream. Art did not have to be traditional to have meaning, after all.. it could be subjective, just like a musical synth. Most of the landscape was finished, splotches of paint clumped together to make a rough texture. [break][break]

Now all she had to add were the sunflower pokemon that had suddenly appeared, including her very own, splitting off into the art's torn-apart layers of reality. It was so precious seeing Goldie acquaint with his fellow Sunflora though! She chummed thinking about how cute it would be if he found a friend to take home to the stained glass menagerie greenhouse, painting away.[break][break]

the sun shines bright over fortree; mika closes her eyes against the warmth, and leans back slowly. up in the trees, everything feels different, but the way the sunlight drapes over her is the same. no matter the cycle, no matter the day, no matter the struggle, no matter the horror... life goes on. if not in hoenn, then in regions outside of it. if not there, then in worlds untouched. life goes on and the sun shines warmly and pokemon and people can coexist and a ranger like mika can soak up the warmth and light and feel like everything is okay, even for just a moment. [break][break]

then they'll feel blessed because the okay-ness lasts longer than a moment. they can hear their talonflame flying overhead, a swift shadow against the sky. it screeches loud enough to be heard at ground level, but that specific call means something to mika: pokemon underfoot.[break][break]

mika opens one eye to peek down at the new disturbance. she looks just in time to witness a swarm of sunflora running about, sporadic and desperate but free in their movements. happy. and seeing their wild but blissful sincerity stirs up more feelings within mika's heart. that at the very least, closed-off people like her can be at peace knowing there are others who feel deeply in their place — that there are other suns than the one shining overhead. its a thought that brings her comfort, draws up peace. [break][break]

she closes her eyes again and sighs, a thousand worries escaping their fleeting breath.[break][break]

Sunkern and Sunfora were in swarms at Route 120 which was also the site of the Ancient Tomb before she had been sucked into a ‘Galarian’ dreamscape with Alexei and the others. She didn’t want to think much on it and carries her shiny Eevee in looking at the Sunkern and Sunflora together, both Pokemon were native to her mother’s home region. “Someday, I may take you to Johto. It’s a wonderful place…better than how stuffy Hammerlocke is in Galar.” The royal strokes the head of her small silvery grey fox as she sets the female shiny Eevee down for Cerise to look at the wild Sunkern bouncing about.[break][break]

Since Elise knew how to paint, the Sunflora with its pre-evolutions were actually good art piece subjects since their petals reminded her of the bright yellow sun high up in the sky. With that in mind, she takes a Pokeball out her pack and tosses it towards one of the grass types who were dancing about in the cooler autumn breeze. [break][break]

elliot found sunflora absolutely adorable. having seen his share around the fields back home in Johto. as well as seeing them around Sprout Tower when he visited it almost every year as a child. Sunflora were a decent part of his life in some way. They were happy if not a bit clumsy in nature. But Elliot felt it was part of their charm. As he watched them from a safe distance he saw one trip over on it's face right in front of him. Giving a giggle he patted the Grass pokemon's sunflower head as it got up and moved off again.[break][break] "We should help them out a bit huh, Whimsy?" He asked as his Whimsicott gave a curious expression with a tilt of it's head. "It's time to bring a little more SUNSHINE to the world, use SUNNY DAY!" The act caused the sun to shine just a bit more brighter, hopefully helping out the Grass Pokemon a bit more. Smiling he hoped they liked it. As he continued to sit down and watch the Sunkern and Sunflora enjoy the beautiful day.

Okay, okay, hold up.

He was on his way to the garden, lugging around a watering can when he had to come to a stop and stare at what the hell was happening…

Was the sun getting in his eyes, or was that an entire horde of Sunflora frolicking around not too far away?

“Ooh,” was all he would say, blinking as he momentarily had the searing thing in the sky etched into his retinas. Ouch!

He quickly made to fill the watering can before slowly, very slowly approaching the Sunfloras just… dancing. Being happy.

Like the burning, fiery orb in the sky.

“Just like a sun.”

Discreetly, he took aim with a Pokéball, not willing to disturb what was going on down here.

Her Venusaur, Ayame, approaches from behind. She's long needed this walk in the sun, content to travel by night no longer. She stretches out her petals and lets out a roar that scatters the scant clouds in the sky, letting the sun bear down completely, baking everything beneath it.[break][break]

Jack sat up from where he was sunbathing on Route 120, lowering his sunglasses to watch the lively swarm of Sunflora wiggling and ruckusing about. He grinned as the commotion woke Watts from his nap, causing the Boltund to sit up from his place in the shade of a tree and yawn widely. After a brief moment of watching the lively pokemon, he assessed that they did not pose an imminent danger to other pokemon or careful travelers. Instead of taking action, Jack reapplied his sun screen and pushed his sunglasses back into place. Before rotating himself so that he tanned evenly in the shifting rays of the sun, he set out an empty pokeball for any of the carousing pokemon to hop into if they chose to.[break][break]

"Aw, Kal, aren't they cute?" Nomi whispered excitedly to the shiny Unown-K, pointing at the group of Sunflora dancing around in joyful abandon just off Route 120.[break][break]
They seemed so blissful as they soaked up the mid-afternoon SUN, so oblivious to the fact that Hoenn was currently suffering from supernatural horror after supernatural horror. It gave Nomi pause, caused her to stare openly at them, drink in their pure-hearted glee like a woman starved of hope.[break][break]
"Shall we go over?" She murmured, moving softly through the thick grass towards the gyrating Sunflora. Kallistatus merely followed, brokering no argument. The closer she got, the more she began to realize that their dancing was actually rather hectic. She had to leap out of the way as one almost crashed right into her.[break][break]
Giggling, she reached for a Pokeball. Her current daily life could do with a little jolly chaos.[break][break]

Nenet sat contentedly on a rock admiring the sunrise, its golden rays painting the landscape in hues of ochre and pink, outshining myriad masterpieces of art hung in museums. Soaking in the blossoming rays like the swarm of Sunflora and Sunkern. She idly muses her own Sunflora must be enjoying the morning back on her apartment's balcony.

“All the great scientists used to do it,” she mumbled, twisting her brows in concentration as she brushed a bit of lighter green over the dark green petals of her little painting, “All the early scientists used to sketch pokemon,” Eva had never tried her hand at it, accepting that she was not very artistically inclined.

The Smeargle behind her stood at full attention, clear tense and displeased with what was happening. Every now and then, the Sketch pokemon would wince as an obvious error of her technique or a misplaced brush stroke that drug too many colors together to make a strange brown.

She Sunflora she was painting looked more like a green stick figure with a multi-lobulated head.

When Eva stepped back to appreciate her WORK OF ART, her face slowly drooped, accepting her defeat, “Fuck it, we’ll just catch one,” with a well aimed throw, she tossed a pokeball at the closest pokemon.

She kneeled just before the camera, but more importantly, the entire background was filled with Sunflora. She angled her face so she would only take up the bottom of the photo. "This one's gettin' framed," she insisted with a grin, one mimicked by her Munchlax. The duo giggled and communicated in grunts and gestures until Robin's head was perfectly placed.

Then, she struck her signature pose, making an 'I love you' gesture with her hand and sticking her tongue out. In the background were countless Sunflora, faces turned towards her because she was posing between the field and the sun. At his signal, she said the signature line. "Cheese!"

Mirabella thought it was nice to be in the sun for a change of pace. The sunflora was simply a game a tag with another it was almost adorable. Her zoroark merely watched onward from a distance until the red haired shove him to join the fun himself. However everyone was afraid of him and appearance. So trick the happy go lucky plants the fox used his illusion ability to act like a normal sunflora. It seemed to joke after the plants seemed to welcome him as own of their own without so much of a problem. Maybe if they were likely he could convince one of them to stay with them immediately.

It was a beautiful day. The sun shone brightly, the air was fresh and cool, and there were Sunflora everywhere. A group of the yellow-petaled Pokemon waved merrily from the side of the path, greeting trainers and passersby. In fact, they were so eager to make their acquaintance that they were crowding onto the path itself and holding up foot traffic.
