Being reminded of her childhood in the winter days at Hammerlocke, she made snowboys outside of the Calcifet Palace in the snow when the female royal was little. Now, Elise is reminded of how much fun it could be to build one again here in Hoenn and she hears the happy noises of her younger ghosts running around with each other. Freyja the shiny Zeraora chases them around in their game of tag though the white thunder cat is actually faster and tags the older Misdreavus with her paw. [break][break]

Elise makes one of the torso of her snowboy and feels something hit her on her back. Mana and Chamomile try to look for some snow to help bring back to the snowboy as the royal ambassador turns to look at the shiny Zeraora balling up another snowball with her fists. “I’ll get you this time!” The ambassador picks up some snow to ball into a snowball and throw it at her shiny Zeraora though the feline Pokemon is fast that Freyja dodges.[break][break]

When the Polteageist and Mismagius return, Elise goes to join her shiny Zeraora as the feline was on her back and would be making her own snow angel. A chuckle came from the woman as she lies on her back to make a snow angel alongside her feline Pokemon.[break][break]

A snowball is thrown where the ambassador would’ve gotten hit but that snowball ended up hitting a trio of ladies. Quickly getting up from the snow, Elise notices that ollie morales had finished his speech and he was the one that she had thrown her snowball to. “Ollie? I-I’m sorry, I did not mean to throw a snowball at you when you've finished your speech.” Her pale cheeks flush a little bit while she looks a little embarrassed. “Truthfully, I was meaning to hit my shiny Zeraora there, but she’s very fast.”

Her shiny Zeraora gets up too and shakes off the snow from her white fur. She looks over to the other group of Elise's ghost type Pokemon that were enjoying themselves in playing with each other.[break][break]

Nevertheless, Elise balls up another snowball in the palm of her hand in using the snow and tries to throw it at ollie morales. "But I will not lose in a snowball throwing competition. In Hammerlocke, I was the best snowball thrower at the royal Calcifet palace." A little laugh came from the Galarian princess as she spoke with a small mischievous smile. As Moroe continued to yip up at the other fox that rested on the woman's shoulders in an attempt to garner its attention, Yuina glanced up at the foreign, yet familiar words, spoken to her. She herself was still trying to piece Hisuian back together for herself, she hadn't yet dove into trying to make complete sentences, but trying to put together the words that she could make out, it did sound like a line of poetry perhaps.[break][break]

The antics of people and pokemon were enough to break Jack's sour mood. Taking a break from building his own snowperson, he smiled as his breath misted in the frosty air. Nearby two Darumaka were rolling a large snow ball from another snowperson while they chattered and laugh with each other.[break][break]

In an attempt at fanning the spark of childhood joy, Jack flopped backward into the snow next to his snowperson. Carefully at first and then with a quiet chuckle, he swung his arms and feet in the snow. ollie morales’s speech was, of course, flawless. Her gloved hands clapped together at the end, smiling ridiculously large beneath her rosy cheeks. She was so proud of everything Olie had come to accomplish since arriving in Hoenn. Morales were really taking the region by storm!

A curious emerald gaze watched her brother immediately get swamped by a small mob of people. Now probably wasn’t the best time to say hi. She’d get to it - eventually.

Instead she trudged through the deep snow, huffing her way to a little opening near someone she didn’t recognize. She offered jack wainwright a small smile in greeting before plopping down to start building her Snowboy. She carefully started crafting a sphere of snow. The Galarian Mr. Mime stood nearby, waddling back and forth with a hot peppermint mocha in hand. He passed it off to Eva when she asked, truly acting as the perfect assistant. That was, until he decided he wanted to make a Snow Angel too.

The pokemon let the drink fall flat into the snow. He giddily plopped down beside jack wainwright and started MIMICing his movements, “Alffie!” Eva scolded, standing to drag the blue Mr. Mime back over to her area, “Sorry about that, he’s just a bit too excited about all this,” she motioned vaguely to the festival itself, hiding her mourning for her lost beverage under a pleasant smile.

Ettie may not understand too much about the Amnesty Program that ollie morales speaks of in his speech - but what she does understand, is that it's time for snowboys!

Bouncing amongst the snow alongside some of her pack, Ettie had taken to getting straight to work on trying to make a Snowboy with the others. Which, first things first, involved getting some snowballs all rolled nice and big! Crouching down, she was already gathering and compacting the snow together, to start on the first ball...

All the while though, a number of her packmates were happy to get up to their own shenanigans - be it playing among themselves, or looking for someplace warm to curl up together and watch the others.

It'd be just Eddie's luck that he wouldn't make it to the party until things were already in full swing. [break][break]

Getting out to Route 119 had been kind of a daunting task, but he couldn't pass up the chance to check out a local festival. With a hot cup of cider in hand, he managed to arrive just at the tail end of ollie morales 's speech. While Eddie wasn't completely familiar with what the amnesty program entailed, he smiled at the sentiment of a 'fresh start'. Hell yeah, that was just the thing he came to Hoenn for in the first place; good on anyone else trying to find that for themselves. [break][break]

Once the speech had concluded, he milled over to the snowboy-making area with the other festival goers, only to realize that his companion for the journey had vanished, [break][break]

“Tsume?” he called, scanning the scattered crowd of people and Pokemon, “Where'd ya go, buddy?” [break][break]

It was then that he saw his Mawile, still wrapped in Eddie's thick orange scarf, a little ways off, rolling a particularly large snowball with the help of a Galarian Darumaka. It was strange to see freya morningstar out in the world, as The Councilwoman, so accustomed was Mei to being around the mistress of dragons in far more...intimate settings. "er, no, not yet," she says, though stubbornly refuses to admit that yes, this is another exercise that simply isn't her thing. case in point - ollie receives a snowball blasted to the back of his head. it falls to the wayside and she takes a legitimate step back to avoid getting in the crossfire.

she waves her hands. "no, that's alright. throw a snowball for me, mm?"

when he'd turned, she'd spotted one Eva Morales and her first instinct had been to pursue. hell, even the worried furrow of her brow had smoothed, but she stops short, worrying her lip while watching her laugh and stand beside someone else.

her neck prickles. the weight of a stare makes her turn her head. mei? ( Mei Liu ) she blinks owlishly, struggles to hide the embarrassed heat on her face, and turns abruptly. she almost trips over a trailing orange scarf wrapped around a mawile.

"oh, hi. didn't see you there. you've got an impressive snowboy in the works there," she says to the fae and its supposed trainer ( Eduardo Hisakawa ).

Whew; this winter was cold, but El sure as hell wasn't going to miss making Snowboys today. Especially not when Isaac Merlo had a part in it, as part of the whole amnesty program - they wanted to be able to support him and enjoy his contributions!

Which, it seemed that he had decided to go all out with making a cool ice rink - one that El would admire as they stood at the edge of it. Normally, something like ice skating would be the last thing they'd try to do with a bad knee...

... But well, what was the harm, if they could cheat a little, thanks to Bibidi and Akero? A little Telekinesis to help steady them wouldn't hurt - especially with the knee brace on - and they could always give their knee a Life Dew soak afterwards..!

It was honestly amazing, the amount of work put into the decor here; great ice sculptures of dragons standing tall, an ice rink, and plenty of Darmanitan and Darumaka running about helping people make Snowboys... It was so different, from the festivities last year - and something about it warmed Makoto's heart, even if this winter was so much colder than the last.

Stepping out to the ice rink in particular, they'd put on a pair of rental skates. The practice they had gotten in skating with SIO SOTÍ awhile back helped wonders in building their confidence, and well... They wanted to try their hand at it again - solo this time - to see how much they'd learned.

Thus, whilst their pokemon played in the snow, Makoto would be idly doing laps in the ice rink - doing their best to remember what they had learned prior...
