Despite the little 'duel' between himself and Mars, meeting @jessica was, for a brief moment, pleasant. He smiles at her fliration, regarding Martín del Mar with a daring gleam in his eye afterward. As much as he entertained the thought of flirting back to get back at him, however, she ultimately decided to leave alongside him. He nodded at her prior to leaving himself.[break][break]

Having approached the man (andres buenaventura ) who'd been cautiously casting an eye at Luka earlier, Remiel stopped only feet away from him, narrowing a suspicious glare on the stranger as he sat crouched on the snow with his hood on. "... Who are you?"[break][break]

The man seemed to have misheard him, however, turning around confused and wishing him a merry Christmas instead. The royal shakes his head. "I can't say that I have," He replies, as his large grey Arctozolt finally catches up to him. "But I have a question of my own."[break][break]

Unfortunate for him, another stranger steps in (@artemis ), barring Remiel from proceeding with the stern interrogation he had planned. When it came to lady luka chêne , it seemed, he was... protective. And he hadn't quite liked the way the other had looked at her.[break][break]

"Hm? Are you two... companions?" He inquires, flitting a gaze between them both as snow gently falls from the sky like SILVER POWDER. But the answer to his question, of course, soon appears without further word. Artemis: the name of this purple-haired model that the undercover admin vaguely recognized. But what of the blonde?[break][break]

"Monsieur Calcifet! Help, please!"

Naturally, Remiel turns to regard the cry for help instantly, setting eyes upon luka chêne and her company as they are pelted with a barrage of snowballs from a multitude of Jynx. A prank gone too far, perhaps? It isn't long before he returns his gaze at the stranger (andres buenaventura ) again, however, and regards that 'deer in headlights' look with an entirely mistrusting look.[break][break]

Just who was he?

Alas, he seems to be ignored and waved off before he can stubbornly inquire further— which is just as good, considering he was already moving to rejoin the pink-haired belle once more. "I'm sure we'll see each other again at some point anyway." He sighs, jogging off as his Arctozolt waddles in tow.[break][break]

Snowballs strike the ambassador mid-run, and the several that strike his legs manage to wobble him off balance just as reaches Luka. The accidental stumble causes him to fall upon her in the snow, quick to stop his descent (and, subsequently, the weight of him against her) with firm gloved hands.[break][break]

His padded arms propped straight at each side of her head, Remiel blinks and blushes at the somewhat... intimate position they now find themselves in. He looks down at her with slightly astonished eyes, completely disregarding the snowballs that continue to pelt his back as he shields her from their frosty assault.[break][break]

"You called... Luka?"

The urge to gulp like some bashful schoolboy was strong, but he fights it back as puffs of cold air from their faces mingle in the small space between them, seemingly yearning to become something more.[break][break]

Looking at how the Chonk is made up, Nia can't help herself to laugh remembering the staff where Mahiro tries to act like a snowman by burying part of her body with snow and wearing a reindeer antler. Nia takes out Mahiro and she stares at the snowman and she quickly tries to dig the snow underneath her and pops out like a mole while trying to be a snowman once again. Staring at the cute attempt of her own pokemon, suddenly a ball of snowball hits her when she was looking for the source it was from MATIAS SILPH. "Oh no, you didn't" Nia sounds surprised with a smirk on her face. Mahiro raised her hand and then unleashed a hailstorm by using HAIL and starts to pelt everyone around her with hail. "Wait, wait! Mahiro, NO!" Nia tries to stop the hail but sadly it was too late.

Hideo had made a pretty sizable snow angel with all that time he spent working on it; it was just fun playing around with a friend (that he could talk to) that he’d gotten lost in it. He even caught a few snowflakes on his tongue; what good snowfall would be complete without catching some snowflakes?

How long had it been since he got to do this? Just go out and have fun without anything looming over his head?

But he couldn’t spend the rest of this wonderful day making snow angels. Eris Halla mentioned something else they could do, and Hideo smiled widely. “Heck yeah we can decorate a christmas tree!” he exclaimed, sitting up (his Froslass moved the Will-o-Wisp flame so he didn’t get a face-full of it). “It’ll be my first Christmas away from home, so we gotta make it extra special!”

He chuckled to himself, recalling his previous Christmases. “Maybe I could find a tiny Santa outfit for my Ribombee and he could help us decorate!” His Ribombee helped him last year with decorations, so why not do it again? He was sure his Ribombee would like it.

Maybe he could find a new set of Stantler horns to put on his Lycanroc.

“You know, last time I helped decorate a tree, Mr. Ki was there.” Chu-e Choi had been there, along with another guy (bryan delarosa ). “Maybe he could help us out too?”

It was good luck for Locke and bad luck for Pip-Pip that the Piplup chose that exact moment to poke his head out to investigate the commotion, unintentionally taking a series of snowballs to the face for his trainer and causing both of them to squawk in surprise. They dove behind Chonk for cover from both MATIAS SILPH’s army of Jynx and two Hails dropping freezing snow ton the group.

He gave a sharp whistle and six Santa-dressed Delibird abandoned their decorating to form a defense wall around him, snowballs of their own in hand. They aimed for the instigator of this whole mess, but the arrival of Remiel Calcifet awakened something in Locke.

That something was, of course, class warfare.

With another whistle, the Delirbird changed targets, unleashing a volley of snow at the prince, and likely catching luka chêne in the crossfire as well.

Evelyn Vespera

Snow was a rare occurrence for even someone like Evelyn. So, when they announced the research gone haywire with the Castform on route 119, she was quick to ask for a day off.

She even used some of her vacation time. Luckily for her, she almost never took off work.

When she arrived, she was greeted with the site of snow falling down gently around her. The flakes clung to her eyelashes and her hair, and the air had a chill to it that seemed colder than in Slateport City.

However, it was wonderful.

Tipping her head back, Evelyn stuck her tongue out and caught a snowflake on her tongue, laughing to herself. Wishing she could share this special moment with him, if she could. She hoped he could see the joy on her face.

Looking around, she noticed people throwing snow balls at each other, along with other individuals building their own snow boys. The Darmantians and ice-type Pokemon seemed in their element. It was peaceful.

Perfect.

She caught a glimpse of Martín del Mar leaving with a girl with pink hair. Evelyn wondered how long this had been going on, and how could she be so late to such a fun event?

At the annoyed look they got back Razz just quick to apologize since it didn't look like Salem wanted to. Though while the cats were on ice Razz figured he should try and figure out something for the other two to do. Pondering for a moment as trying to think of 'fun' activities was not a strong point for him. "Ummm would you two want to try to make a snowman..? person? thing? I don't know," he tries to offer and Leon seems excited about the idea while Cedar just shrugs. [break][break]

Using his mitten covered paws the Riolu creates a snowball first before rolling it up. Seeming to want to make a tall snowman as the bottom ball he ended up making was already half Razz's size. "You're not one to go small it seems," he chuckles lightly before the pup goes for the middle part and encouraging the Kubfu to try. The bearing following up by trying to roll a head.

Barnaby's laughter rang out across the clearing, echoing off the treeline and funneling down to the patrons below. If they heard him, no one seemed to react. Soon enough the laugher faded and was replaced by almost-silence. From up here, all Barnaby could hear was the quietest, gentlest snowfall. The crowd below also projected their voices, like the dull hum of a refrigerator in the background. [break][break]

Truthfully, in this moment, he felt other, outside. Like a passenger on THE POLAR EXPRESS, looking out on a snowy wonderland but never quite able to capture that magic. He couldn't discern his feelings entirely, only paint them with large brushstrokes. Alone, melancholy. Was this seasonal depression? Homesickness?[break][break]

If she knew what Remiel Calcifet was thinking, she'd probably be touched. But as it is Luka only shrieks with laughter and throws another fistful of snow at MATIAS SILPH, trying and failing to pick herself up off the frosty ground.[break][break]

She's not sure if Remiel had heard her, or if he'd heed her call. In the meantime Luka crawls towards Remi Cassel, shaking snow out of her face and seeking the comfort of that strangely familiar face.[break][break]

When Remiel collides into her, at first she assumes that someone had thrown an entire snowboy into the fray. But her landing is soft, cushioned by downy snowflakes, and the dark eyes that stare down at her in astonishment are a far more welcome sight.[break][break]

"Oh—" Words refrigerate on her tongue, frozen by the chill in the air and the sudden bashfulness that overtakes her. Luka swallows, blinking up at Remiel with a starstruck gaze. "You came," she says. Such a simple thing, but it means the world to her.[break][break]

His breath is warm on her face, fogging in miniscule space between them. The moment hangs suspended in time; snowflakes swirling around them, cheeks red (with cold, surely), merry laughter muffled under the thrumming of her heart. Luka reaches up to brush some of the snow out of Remiel's hair and parts her lips to...to speak, surely— [break][break]

And then the moment ends, crashing down like an ornament from one of the snow-laden boughs around them. "Mademoiselle!" Luka gasps at Nia Acadia when yet another barrage of hail rains down upon them, "C-come on now! Ceasefire, ceasefire!"[break][break]

Two instances of hail and a volley of snowballs from the Jynx and Locke Jamison's Delibird army are more than she can defend against, even with Remiel acting as a meat shield. Luka lays back in the snow underneath him, resigned to her fate of becoming a cute little snowboy herself.

"But what do you think we should decorate the snow guy with?" he ask to try and get the creative juices flowing in their baby brains as the Riolu and Kubfu look at one another before thinking. After a moment Leon claps his paw before taking razz's bag and pulling out a berry he kept for emergencies. Before putting them as eyes making Razz nod with approval. That was one way to go.

it was a nightmare before christmas as kazimir still hadn't been able to complete a snowboy yet and so far he was not coming up with good luck. "maybe if i...just throw something together it'll work." that was the plan anyway, wing it till you make it. it probably wasn't the best but what else could he do? his glastrier had run off somewhere so it wasn't like he had an extra pair of hands on him...well...maybe he did. checking his pockets as he rolled around anohter ball to make the last piece he needed he looked for a pokemon that might be just the help that he needed for this. he was going to make the perfect snowboy one way or another.

The warmth doesn’t last too long as MATIAS SILPH pulls her down into the cold snow. Suddenly, it’s chaos and the Jynx pelt the group with a barrage of snowballs.

“Thanks,” she grins up at him, using her small frame to scurry across the snow and follow him behind Chonk for cover. A wildly entertained smile brightens her face as she packs together a little snow ball compact and aerodynamic, “Great Scrooge impression,” she laughs, but grinning and tossing a snowball at luka chêne . It’s payback for hitting her man with one . . . not that it really mattered.

Actually . . .

With a wicked smile she scoops up another pile of snow. With no remorse she reaches up, dropping the snowball right into MATIAS SILPH ’s head before breaking out into bright laughter.
