EXPOSITION
 IN CELEBRATION OF PALENTINE'S DAY, THE SLATEPORT CONTEST HALL is blooming with floral arrangements, sweet desserts, and Kalosian furnishings. A large ballroom has been prepared for a speed dating event and networking event. Carved tea tables are set between provencal Kalosian chairs. Aample room is provided not only for service staff and trainers, but for the Pokemon they are encouraged to bring as well.[break][break]
This event is a casual event, meant to bring your character in contact with many others. Perhaps, they will find true love![break][break]
This event will not be a mega-thread. Instead, there will be a sub-board made in the contest hall for speed date threads. You can find this board here.[break][break]

OOC RULES AND INFO EVENT RULES
- To emulate the speediness of this event, each character can only make 4 POSTS WITH A 300 WORD LIMIT in each speed dating thread. FOUR POSTS IS THE MAXIMUM amount of posts one can make. Furthermore, the strict limitations are in place to ensure characters can sweep through many other characters and their players.
- You can go through as many speed dates as you like, but you have to finish your current one before you can move on to the next! However, this can change if your partner is slow (see post below).
- Partners will be assigned based on the character's sexuality/purpose of visit (romance or business), but we'll also be looking at age group and a member's availability (if they're in the middle of a speed date, then you may be less likely to be paired with them).
- There will be more than one round of speed dating.
- When the event begins, this thread will be updated with pairings, what round each pairing is, and further instructions.
REWARDS
These speed date threads will not be eligible for the incoming love calculator, or for communal curries. However, each speed date completed will net you the following rewards:[break][break]
SWEET HEARTS are an UNOVAN TREAT. They are one among many pastries and sweets provided at each table.[break][break]
Shalour Sables, Lumiose Galettes, and more can be found as dulcet delights for your dates to enjoy.[break][break]
These SWEET HEARTS can be used to redeem special rewards from the SWEET HEART SHOP. This shop will close March 31st, 11:59PM PST. However, remember that this speed dating event ends February 28th, 11:59PM PST.
